Excellent hotel - we stayed for 5 days over the Easter Break. The staff is extremely helpful and very polite. The location of the hotel is ideal for anyone wishing to tour the city (200 meters from the harbor, stores, restaurants, cafes). Also easy access in and out of the city for people with a car who wish to visit other parts of Crete. The hotel is newly renovated and very clean. Parking is a problem for people who will rent a car. The hotel parking is very small and very difficult to park a car in. Recommended to look for parking in the nearby streets rather than attempting to park in the hotel parking.

Clean room, good free breakfast, friendly staff. Good experience overall. You have to leave your key in the slot in the room to get electricity. This is a little inconvenient because you can't leave devices (laptop, phone etc.) charging while you are not in the room.

Friendly helpful staff, excellent central location, very good value at booking.com price (40% off rack rate). Central location meant some traffic noise was inevitable (but rooms without view of central square probably quieter).

The staff were superb...very friendly and helpful. While somewhat small, the rooms are well appointed and have been updated. Very good breakfast and a great deal for a three-star hotel.

The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. I had stayed here overnight once before only but they remembered me and were very welcoming. The buffet breakfast is good and there is a kettle with coffee/tea making facilities and a fridge in the room. The hotel itself is centrally located and very convenient for shops cafes etc. I had expected to hear lots of noise from the square but was pleasantly surprised that this was not so.

la gentilezza dello staff, la posizione eccezionale vicino alla stazione autobus, la pulizia, la colazione abbondante, tutto questo ha reso il mio soggiorno piacevole.Se dovessi ritornare ad Hania ritonerei all'hotel Arkadi.//////The staff was very kind, a good position by the bus station, evething so tidy and the rich breakfast made my staying very pleasant. The personell were really helpful and attentive. The breakfast was decent, and we got some free water and local soda's in the room. Location was great. A few steps, and we were in the streets of old town. A few steps in a different direction, and we were in the main shopping streets. Could have been closer to the beach, but I guess you can't have it all. The beds were really hard, although that seems to be a problem in all of Crete (all of the 5 places I've stayed). There were also quite a lot of noise, either from the street if the balcony door was open, or from the fridge and the air-condition when the door was closed. Over all, the hotel is decent enough to be recommended, but there is probably better choices in a more quiet area.

Staff was so helpful and kind. Room on the top floor with a perfect view on the old city and see. Location is just perfect (200m). Breakfast simple but good. That's a buffet so of course no service! Nothing except for the tiny parking. With a 4wd, it was a misery to get out when parking was full. Not a big deal, there were free places in the small street next to the hotel.

Early breakfast start, good value.. Hotel kept very clean. Receptionists all have good english. Good taxi and bus service close. Plenty of shopping.eating/tours available nearby. Supermarket nearby. Fridge in the room. Good aircon. Nice clean bathroom. CNN on TV. Work table in room. Plenty of clothes storage. Double glazed sliding window and shutter blind, and good curtains. Kept the noise out! No hot drinks in room, although this is usual in the med. Very limited hot food at breakfast.

Friendly, family-run hotel with a good location and immaculately clean. Our room had a sea view and although it was on busy street, the traffic noise was not a problem. Good seafront restaurants right across the road were very handy.

The location of the hotel is excellent for visiting the citi of Chania. The hotel was also very clean. I think the rooms need a renovation and the breakfast buffet was poor.

Excellent location at the entrance of the old town, very close to the Venetian harbour. Nice room with a large balcony overlooking the old town toward the waterfront. Very nice and helpful staff. We had our laundry washed within a few hours at a very reasonable price, at a nearby subcontracted facility.

The staff are extremely professional, multilingual and friendly. The buffet breakfast is a bit unimaginative; E.G. no fresh fruit or fresh fruit juice.... On an island which boasts its orange groves.
