Conveniently located in the heart of Piraeus’ business district, Theoxenia is within walking distance of the main port. The hotel’s helpful multilingual staff is on hand 24 hours a day.

the location my room on the 6th floor nice view complete with televison.
just wish the room was larger and the elevator is small so don't bring a lot of luggage.
Helpful friendly staff Huge buffet breakfast with room service Cleanliness Great wi-fi even on the 6th floor Residential area close to marina
I liked that the rooms were super clean and very cozy. Location was very good for our needs (close to the sea and easy to get central). Airport transfer option was very convenient and below the market price. Staff was very friendly too. Arma hotel was more than we expected.
Hotel was very clean - every floor was tiled so there was none of that yucky smell so present in many less expensive hotels. Rooms, halls, lobby - everything was tiles and scrupulously clean. The hotel is in a residential neighborhood, so it was quiet at night! A short two block stroll brings you to a busy thoroughfare with many restaurants (and a great beauty parlor where I got my hair cut!) and little shops. I travel alone so feeling safe is important to me. The staff was very friendly and gave me a map of the neighborhood with directions to their favorite restaurant. The room ac was great (another must) and the small fridge was a plus. The bathroom was a good size which was a pleasant surprise, as was the hair dryer. All this for about 40 e, much cheaper than the other hotels I looked at.
Nothing really - the elevator was the typical tiny european model, but it was fine.
Very good helpful staff
What ever was told we got.But Rooms are very small.Service Very Good. They provided pick up and drop for a fee which was very good for us.
Room size could be little bigger and walls slightly thicker as you could hear what was happening outside your main door.
- great location in a very pleasant district, not far from the sea and from the tram station, - service is great, room is cleaned every day, - good breakfasts, - bike rental (free of charge), - great rooms with wide balconies.
- really nothing )
The soured was very small
We had a 3 person room, my 3 friends arrived at 4am and literally only needed a shower before heading out again. The hotel was very flexible in this regard and didn't charge us extra. The receptionist was very helpful in directing us to the local tram line for our onward journey.
The hotel is not really near any major tourist location & complicated to locate. Our taxi driver got lost and had to phone the hotel for directions.
It seemed more or less clean.
The room and especially the bathroom are too small. There is no curtain or else in the shower which is just the (very very small) tub so that there is water all over the bathroom when you shower. It took us 45 minutes to get from the hotel to sintagma square with public transport. For 50€ per night there is much better accommodation available.
Although, this hotel is outside of Athens, it's 5 minute walk to Tram station, which takes you within 30 mins to Syntagma Square (central Athens). From Syntagma Square, you can easily catch a Sightseeing Tour Bus, or even walk (about 10min) to Acropolis, or short walk to Ermou Street for shopping. Hotel is in residential neighbourhood and area is quiet. Two short blocks from market, restaurants and shopping. Easy walk to beach from hotel; and there is a great promenade, near Marina to watch sunsets. Hotel also has small terrace off breakfast room; lovely to sit outside and have coffee in the morning. Staff very friendly and helpful (thank you Anna). I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again!
Quite the challenge not to get water from shower all over the floor! :)
Quiet location, parking available, excellent value for Money. really enjoyed the 6th floor.
The noise of the elevator which seems a bit abrupt but managable.
The bed, the view, the helpfulness of the staff
Bit far from the centre. Construction work on Monday morning.
We needed a place to stay in Athens before our flight home (after arriving in Piraeus from the islands). The hotel was a good choice not least because they arranged, for an extra charge, a punctual transfer service to the airport (in our case at 2 a.m. in the morning ). This was reasonably priced compared to taxi fares I have heard quoted from the port, especially at such an unsociable hour. The Reception staff were friendly and there were some nice places to eat a couple of streets away (e.g. Agiou Alexandrou Street). Furthermore I left my phone charger and adapter plug in the room (I'm not good in the early morning!) and Maria from the hotel notified me by email and then posted it without me even needing to ask. Very nice! The hotel represented very good value compared to the other more central options we considered.
Easy to access the public transport: bus and tram whatever you go to the airport or the city. The room is very clean. The staffs are super nice. The breakfast is perfect. We'd like to stay there again if we revisit the city.
Amazing a hospitable receptionist not far from beach
poor breakfast small bathroom,
The location was great, and the room was very clean. Very nice for a short stay.
Very small room (especially the bathroom).
Great location. Staff very helpful.
Beds were comfy. Loved the balcony. Had a partial view of the water/nightlife. They held our luggage out last day there so we didn't have to drag it around with us all day. The hotel was a great price for two nights.
The one thing that we weren't satisfied with was the bathroom. Shower was very tiny and courtain did not wrap around the whole shower, so the toilet and floor got wet. The toilet was smooshed between the shower and sink, which made it suishy to sit down. Other than the bathroom, everything else was great.
Excellent location; close to shopping street, beach - convenient to travel by tram or bus to Piraeus or Athens (or combine to metro line).
Nice people. Free bikes to use. Not touristic neighbourhood.
Room is a bit small as well as the bathroom
My case was lost. Reception could not have done more to help get it back.
Near a few good restaurants.
We chose this hotel based off of the reviews suggesting it had a reasonably priced airport shuttle available and was in a good location for an overnight stay for flights. The shuttle was not available and we paid over 100 euro to get to the hotel and back to the airport. It was over 45 minutes away! Also, we requested a non smoking room and it smelled very smokey.
location is good, close to Flisvos Marina and the sea....hotel is clean...
This hotel was small but comfortable. The rooms were clean and large enough for a short stay.
The staff was unreliable with scheduling transportation.
