With stunning views of the volcanic island of Nea Kameni and Aegean Pelagos, this little hotel boasts one of the best views from the Caldera towards the Volcano on the island. Built in the charming style of Cycladic architecture, Aroma Suites provides a serene, quiet haven for relaxation on the magnificent island of Santorini. Each apartment or room has its own small terrace or yard from which one can see the volcano, the deep blue waters of the Aegean Sea and the magnificent sunsets Santorini is so famous for. With gentle lighting and vibrant joyful colors, rooms are clean and simply decorated to themes of herbs or spices such as Lemongrass and Spearmint.
Guests have the opportunity to use the swimming pool of the sister hotel, situated just 55 yards away. Hotel Rooms: 6

The hotel said to have upgraded our triple suite to "honey moon suite", which is indeed very spacious. The hotel locates well facing the volcano. The jacuzzi cannot heat, and the room is very damp because it's like an underground cave. EUR110 per night seems to be overpriced.

The comfortable and cozy suites each had a balcony with an unbeatable caldera view. Chris, Dezi and Fanis did everything possible to make my stay perfect and memorable. Complimentary tea, coffee and that wonderful Santorini wine added a special touch to each morning and to every exquisite sunset. Their recommendations for restaurants and activities were very helpful. Above and beyond expectations, they even provide transportation to and from the airport or seaport. I will definitely come back to the Aroma Suites and recommend to all Santorini visitors!!

The room rate should include breakfast which most other hotel does in Greece. The room lack a bit of privacy as people can access the balcony and look into the room easily.

Helpful staff Jessica is so kind, Cris is also good. Convenient location, easy to reach the center. We stay at the room "Kanela", there is a wire pole in front of our balcony, it stops the beautiful view.

The friendly personal staff who were helpful for restaurant and beach suggestions. Also made you a personal breakfast every morning. Very kind people! The accomodation ran out of water for many hours while I was there on 2 separate days. If it was just hot water, I would understand. However, there was no running water. They were not able to explain this, but an explanation and actual time frame of water return would have been greatly appreciated.

Location is great. Views from the hotel were great. Rooms were relatively big for rooms in the mountainside and for the price. There isn't always someone at the front desk. Our power went out, and it took us a while to figure out who to call. When they were there, the staff was great and helpful.

Friendly staff and very easy for check-in. Collected and dropped off at the ferry station without any problems. Staff helped to arrange bike hire and organize day trip. Inconsistent flow of water in the room, some times without water for the shower and toilet facility - although we do realise that there are issues with water on the island, but for the price was expecting more. The shower was also broken, and had to use hand shower, again may have been done on purpose to save water. By comparison and for a similar price we stayed in a fantastic hotel in Mykonos.

The location on the edge of Thira is perfect - it is very quiet yet not far to the centre of town. Ellis restaurant nearby is excellent with amazing sunset views. The cave suite was very unique and the sun deck had a stunning view over the Caldera. The staff were helpful but not overbearing. Breakfast is not included and was slightly pricey at 12 euros per person, however it is still worth paying for to enjoy in the peace and quiet of the hotel on your own balcony.

The location of the hotel is excellent. Guests have a view of the caldera including the beautiful Santorini sunsets. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and the owner Fanes even offers free wine every night! We even got a free room upgrade. There is free wi-fi which is also handy. The only negative feedback I can give about our particular room (spa cave room) was that it was stuffy because there are no windows for ventilation even though the room had exhaust fans. The exhaust fans did not all work work.

We had a good time at the Aroma Suites. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent and exotic. The view from our veranda was great, and we could see much of the Caldera. The Cave Suite we stayed in was comfortable and had a lot of room, with a very large bathroom. Everything was kept very clean The only comment is that if you are claustrophobic, do not stay in one of the Cave Suites. If not, it is a fun experience!

“Hotel staff were exceptionally helpful. Jeremy, born and raised in Boston, was especially responsive to our desire to enjoy the island in a less traditional way and recommended eateries and treats that were fabulous. Sophia was equally gracious, professional and knowledgeable. A delight. And yes, the lower rooms involve many more stairs, but that is Santorini! We (mother and daughter) left the windows open at night to feel the night air and felt very safe.” Kristen, Buffalo, New York |

“Very friendly owner & included (free) airport transfers. 'Katerina' also insisted on driving me to the wedding I was attending (again as a favor & free of charge). The villa was a small, homely place, very well situated close to the center of Fira. A great place to stay for the price.” Christopher, Southampton |
