The staff were just amazingly helpful and friendly. In fact, I thought they were the owners of the hotel. Rooms were also very cute..we booked three rooms and all of them were different in design. Location can be a little dangerous depending on how to walk to Metro. Omonia station also has a lot of pickpockets but that's because it's conveniently located for tourists. |

The staff at the hotel was very friendly and very helpful. All questions were answered and requests were fulfilled promptly. What was most impressive was that no matter what time we woke up, they offered to serve us some breakfast. One morning we were to fly to Santorini and we left the hotel at 4AM. The gentleman at the front desk told us that he had arranged for some breakfast to be available before we left. We would have preferred to stay closer to the historical portions of the city. We did wind up using the metro once we got used to the locations of the stations. |

When we arrived we were given a welcome drink, A map and receptionist gave us advice on where to go. On last day we were allowed to leave bags in room till late afternoon. Breakfast was good Our room was on first floor just above reception and during night you could hear lobby noise. Also as on road side traffic was very noisy |

The staff were friendly and helpful, specially the lady at reception. The breakfast was good. The room was not very clean, the location of the hotel is not in an area where I felt safe staying alone as a woman. The room had a bad view and was very dark, also there was too much furniture in the room, it was very cluttered. |

The staff couldnt have been more helpful, whether getting rooms, offering us breakfast when we arrived before noon, just generally friendly and willing to do what they could. It was pouring rain and the front desk woman was out in the rain for 5 solid minutes trying to get us a taxi. They also were able to find a wonderful English speaking guide for 4 hours of Acropolis at a great rate. Location is on the edge of a very sketchy area; the staff were not knowledgeable about theater events etc, and had to go out of the hotel to get a copy (in greek) of "What's On" type of magazine. We wanted theatre/music/dance information and they just couldnt provide it. |

Position of hotel (in prostitute area), noise of traffic, cleanliness of hotel, breakfast - tinned as opposed to fresh fruit!! |

The room is comfortable and clean. The breakfast is good and the staff are helpful. It is useful to have directions to the hotel and also a good map of the surrounding area. |

The reviews I have previously read for the Art Hotel were the reason for booking in the first place - it is exactly as described. Staff are extremely helpful and accommodating, even a welcome drink awaits you on your arrival! Breakfasts were good and relaxed at what time they finished. The rooms were modern, clean and had a nice atmosphere to them. Traffic noise was not a problem due to double glazing windows. Good location a 5 minute walk to Omonia Square where you can catch the tram all around the city. I would stay there again and I am pretty fussy! |

Nice and helpful people working at the hotel. A bit expensive for what it is. Also, there was no hot water one night at the hotel. Not really their fault from what I understood. However, they gave us a 50% discount because of it. Thanks for doing the right thing. No internet in my room. |

Staff. Breakfast was not as great as the reviews outlined. Very budget, but they try to make it appear to be "luxury" |

Good place to stay for value for money in Athens. Near to metro and buses. Not a great area but all the affordable parts of Athens are like that. Nice base for a couple of days. Great breakfast buffet and helpful staff. Room was a bit small but not a deal breaker and we did have three adults in there. |

The comfort of the beds and bathroom The welcome was not pleasant - very agressive and rude. Also, the hotel was very noisy - cars outside and cleaning staff inside shouting to each other |

The staff were the most helpful i have ever come across in any hotel of any standard. The air conditioning for a 4 star hotel in a hot city is very poor |

Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Convenient location at 10 min walk close to Omnonia and tube transportation. Great area for outdoor dining and wining used by the locals close by. Laptop with internet connection freely available. Rooms giving to street and close to reception are can be bit noisy during the night. Rooms basic but clean, no balcony. No further facilities in hotel, e.g. such as gym. |

We enjoyed our stay so much at the Art Hotel in Athens the staff were brilliant and as soon as we arrived they made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay great.A welcome drink and important information about transport, the area and answered all our questions giving their time with happy friendly advice. We checked out at midday but our flight was'nt until 7.00 that evening so they let us use a lovely room to rest and shower after we spent the rest of the day around Athens for free of charge! That was fantastic...We absolutely loved staying at this hotel we will definately come back. Linley from surrey |
