Great hospitality and great location. Our room was a bit small, but that is to be expected for a hotel right in the heart of central Athens. |

We love this hotel. We have stayed here five times and will stay again in a few days. Excellent value. The staff is extremely friendly rand helpful. The hotel is clean and comfortable. Breakfast is excellent. Free internet--wireless in some rooms--is a plus. Location is mixed. Five minute walk to Omonia, and so convenient to everything in Athens. But--this is the one drawback--in a grungy area. To get to the hotel, you walk down a ratty street. But there are always a lot of people around, so this does not bother us. All in all, excellent hotel. We stay here every time we are in Athens. The area is dirty and run down. |

The only good thing about this hotel is its location - quite central. Nothing else, unfortunately. The room we stayed in (1st floor) was very-very small. Also, it was very noisy. There was a lot of noise from outside, because the windows were not properly sealed. The people at the reception were very loud, all afternoon until late at night. We could hardly sleep. Besides, the pillows are awful. This hotel should not be considered a 4-star. Maybe a 3-star, but not even that. |

From the moment we arrived the hotel staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. I didn't have any change for the cab so the owner gave me some money to pay, no questions asked and said i could pay her back later....which was very kind of her. We got a welcome drink on arrival and they gave us a map of the city and recommended places to go and see. |

The staff, Liz and Demis were the best. They're very friendly, extremely helpful, and multi-lingual. Great terrace, once we were re-located due to our original room not being ready. Free internet and wifi, though both are only available in the lobby. Good choice of hot and cold food for breakfast. Tea and coffee are available for free all day. The bathrooms could do with a little updating and more space required to put things on and hang things up. There are prostitutes in the area so the walk home at night was interesting, but we saw similar around the 5 star hotels in so-called better areas. |

We loved the friendliness and helpfulness of the management and staff, and the exceptional value for money. Breakfast was excellent and the helpful instructions from the manager on sight seeing opportunities. We highly recommend this hotel as great value for money. Some minor upgrade works going on while we were there however these did not affect our stay in any way. |

This is my second stay on the return leg of my trip to Greece. We were upgraded to the jacuzzi suite (Which was more a bathtub with jacuzzi function) that was excellent. The staff, Demis, was so helpful and enthusiastic! I guess if we weren't upgraded our experience wouldn't have been so wonderful. Also, the biggest problem with the beds is that instead of a king sized bed, the double bed consists of two single beds placed together. This makes the sleeping experience, well, not as great. |

We had a very large room and a full balcony that wrapped all the way around it. I think they must have upgraded us since we arrived very late at night but it was still wonderful to have such spacious accomodations for the money we paid. Also the room was furnished with beautiful pieces from the Art Deco period. The jacuzzi was broken but we didn't really expect to have it anyway. |

The hotel staff was excellent and extremely helpful in getting us oriented in the city. Breakfast croissants were delicious! Sound proofing for our room could have been improved and positioning of the TV was problematic since we had to raise our heads to watch TV. |

The staff was very accomodating and the breakfast buffet was fabulous. I was somewhat concerned as to the area where the hotel was located. It seemed a little seedy. |

Despite situation in the middle of commercial area polluted heavily by traffic, crime and general disorder, the hotel is an oasis of sanity and respectability, as well as very kind, friendly, helpful service, comfort and aesthetic interior. Traffic noise and fumes are a problem in rooms facing Marni Street |

The kindness and the professionality of the staff, the beauty of the artistic opera, the quality of the buffet breakfast, the position very close to the National Archeological Museum and not far from the Acropolis. None. The traffic noise is an Athens's problem. |
