great staff very near metro station
- location. - breakfast - the same food every morning and no variety.
staff friendliness decoration of rooms price
facilities need renovation jacuzy in the room is a plus, but they should know how to maintain the tubes clean. Had a unpleasent surprise!!!
Location is good in centre, staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast included
staff are helpful; rooms are ok; breakfast is fair
the location is practical as it's close to the centre and the metro. however the area is quite dodgy.
1. Service the best. 2 ideal location. 3. Very clean. 4. I advise you to stay here.
Breakfast for me was scanty. Because I eat only halal food.
Pros - close to everything major - amazing customer service. The reception person/angel was amazing and helped us beyond her duties. ie it was raining and she offered to lend us her umbrella which meant her walking home in rain (ofcourse we didn't take her on the generous offer). - lots of restaurants nearby offering excellent sit down restaurant food for cheap! (close to university district)
Broken door to the balcony. This did not bother us at all, as the door was operational and caused no discomfort.
Nice personel, 5 min walking distance to metro station
Standard definitely below 4* and I would say it should be no more than 3*. After 10pm better don't leave the hotel, especialy with kids. There is a lot of imigrants, prostituts and strange people walking around... I would not recommend the hotel like this for 100EUR per night...
room was on first floor right over the street ~ it sounded as if we were sleeping in the street ~ very noisy
Absolutely excellent, helpful staff. Hotel has character, rooms are large and comfortable. With the inner and outer windows closed, the room was completely quiet. They did my laundry for a very reasonable price.
The internet access was not so great. It came and went. Apparently, this is the same comment you see with almost all hotels in Athens. Not sure why.
We had an outdoor porch with table and chairs that added to the overall space.
The tub had a shower wand, but it didn't attach up on the wall.
room facilities grade cleanliness room amenities convenience
Our own, large balcony
Nowhere to eat in the immediate vicinity.
The air con, staff and breakfast were brilliant.
Extremely helpful staff!
Everything, especially the very friendly and helpful staff and owner.
Staff is really great - they are trying to help and give all the information. With one exception - see below.
The triple room is horrible...never ever ask for a triple room - is so small you cannot move, so dark that you need have lights on all day, so old and smelly that you feel like in a dorm... that does not match a 4* hotel and not the money you pay... and those uncomfortable beds (all three), oh my!... I saw a double room 203 with balcony / that is definitely better, but never ever get into the tripple room unless a serious discount is offered... I am also suprised that when I asked the reception for some nicer room they told me that they need to respect the reservation for a tripple room - although no other room for this hotel was available on booking.com, so I could not reserve a single room. Moreover, the staff could have showed more effort to change the room because the hotel was clearly not fully booked for that one single night I was there!!!
Locations Locations Locations !! excellent value especially if staying for a few nights.Staff is supper friendly and accommodating . I like the city feel and closeness to attractions.
Not clean, very cramp rooms. Breakfast is basic but sufficient .
The location is great. Very helpful and professional employees.. breakfast is remarkable.. great experience..
The photos are quite misleading and look a lot better than real life. We had booked a double room but we spend the first night in two single beds. The staff were nice but overall I wouldn't be visiting again.
beautiful interior of the hotel nice room comfortable, big bed average but really delicious breakfast selection the stay was absolutely worth the money, maybe best price-for-value in town
the floor in the room could have been a bit cleaner staff was very helpful, could have been more personal though
The kindness of the staff The breakfast until 11 The diversity of the paintings
-One of the matresses...they quickly replaced -Some weird tags in the neighbourhood
Slightly worn look, a 30s hotel with lots of personality and good art in the lobby Friendly, attentive staff
Found one bug scuttling under the bathtub, it's never nice. Hotel is very clean though! Probably unavoidable when the building is old (and in Athens).
Enjoyed our stay. A quick walk to metro or Acropolis. Breakfast very nice. Tea and coffee available in dining room all day.
Not the best side of town!
The staff are lovely, very very helpful. Really go xtra mile for u.
Bed was double split type but matterress was smaller kept parting .
