The price for the location was awesome! Right in the Caldera with an amazing view of the sea, sunset and trek home for the donkeys. The owner/operator, Lea, was also very friendly and helpful. I liked the kitchenette, little dining table, seating area, etc (even if we didn't use some of it). Plus, it was really fun to be sleeping IN the side of the island. Unfortunately, due to it's smaller land-plot, the bathroom was located outside our main room's door, but still behind a nicely-placed curtain. Also, the main stairs for the hotel ran right next to our deck, making a private, intimate feeling on the deck at sunset impossible. Those are minor concerns, however and shouldn't reflect too negatively on this spectacular hotel. |

The view from the semi-private balconies was fantastic, also the kitchenette was a welcome feature. The hotel is not too far from a street so we didn't have to carry our bags over the cobblestones far - some of the hotels require a long walk with your luggage in hand. The TV was advertised as satellite but received two or three stations, poorly. Of course we weren't in Santorini for the television! |

The lady at the front, Mrs. Diana is very nice and helpful. She'll help you take care of anything, even trying to park. Make sure to contact her ahead for anything else you need in Santorini. She is very honest about referring other businesses. The location was great too, right by all the restaurants and clubs and not too far from the car street. The rooms also have an amazing view of the volcano The room was a bit smaller than the pictures hinted at. Also, there are many steep stairs to get to your room, so be ready for that. |

The view from the room was fantastic. The room was spacious. Like most of the hotels on the caldera, there are a lot of steps you need to descend to get to your room. Think about it especially when you have small children. Also the inner rooms, are not well ventilated since they have no windows. Most of them will be like this since they are built on the caldera one on top of the other. |
