The hotel has all you need for a trip to visit Athens. It is very well located (right in the center, and near the old town), great views to the Parthenon (in our case we could see it from bed, also from the breakfast area splendid view). The bad think about the hotel is that they advertise in the Booking.com web that internet is free throughout the hotel, which is false (5 euros per 3 hours when I was there) |

Nice reception, no waiting time. Good breakfast, and, above all, the excellent view of the Akropolis area from our room and from the breakfast room. |

Location, location, location!! Unbeatable location at just 1 block from Syntagma (from where you can catch all types of public transportation), 1 block from Ermou and a beautiful walk towards Monastiraki and Thissio (especially at night) and close to Plaka and the Acropolis. The view of the Acropolis from the room (even from the bed!) and from the breakfast area upstairs was wonderful too!! All the personnel was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was very complete, the quality ok, not great, but sufficient. Not really; the first room we had was kind of small, but comfortable enough for us since we were out all day anyway. After we left Athens for a couple of days and came back for a couple more nights we got a much bigger room. |

Nice and spacy rooms and a nice clean bathroom. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Very good and central location. The isolation of the room, you could here everything in the hallway but a problem with a lot of hotels. It wouldn't keep me from booking this hotel again. |

The proximity to the shoping area, theaters, restaurants and archeological sites. Althoug I asked for a non smoking room it seems that the Astor does not reserve rooms excusively for no smokers. I could smell the characteristic smell of cigaret off the curtains. It will be a good idea if gusts could have the option of exteding the stay up to 6 hours subject to availability at a resonable charge to facilitate gusts catching flights later at night. |

Friendly and experienced Reception Staff. Ideal if your trip to Athens is for shopping, very close to the centre and to a lot of archaeological monuments Poor breakfast buffet, need to be improved. Also luck of waiter service at breakfast. |

Central location. View from roof-top restaurant. Street noise was disturbing at night (2nd floor room). No ironing facilities available in room. I was referred to a laundromat just down the road which doesn't exist. The first set of card-keys we were given on checking in gave us access to an already-occupied room. This was nearly midnight and quite a surprise for everyone involved! The second room we were given was unoccupied which was nice. |

The location is very convenient (close to Syntagma square). Easy to reach (by foot, bus or metro) main places of interest as well aas the airport (direct bus) Perfect cleanliness, but quite poor maintenance (TV, bathroom) |

It was located in the very city center. The bathroom was newly restored and very clean. The breakfast room offered amazing view on Acropolis and the whole town. bed was rather uncomfortable and the space around the bed was a bit too small. |

The location was excellent. Acropolis view from the restuarant and some rooms was very interesting. The rooms were clean. Internet service was poor. Smoking everywhere in the hotel is not acceptable. Recommendation by hotel personnel for restaurants were not perfect. You can apply for different tours with cheaper price if you go directly to travel agencies. The breakfast quality could be better. |

With a superb location under the Acropolis and in front of the Temple of Zeus, this recently renovated hotel is renowned for its fantastic views, friendly atmosphere and excellent service. |
Ideally located in the heart of Athens, approximately 300 meters from the Syntagma Square and the metro station, this warm and friendly place is all you need for a visit to Athens. |
Hotel Amazon is situated in the center of Athens in Syntagma Square, giving easy access to cultural attractions and historical sites. |
Located in the heart of Athens shopping and business district by Syntagma Square, this hotel is within walking distance of the Acropolis and Plaka and has excellent public transport links. |
