Astoria  

It was close to the shops and city center. 5 minutes walk to Aristotelous Square. Some of the staff are friendly and overall is an okay hotel for a sleep. I booked it without breakfast so can't say anything about their food. I really like that they let us do a late check out due to our flight (around 6 hours more)

As I said before, I booked it without breakfast and didn't like that they didn't have a coffee machine in the room. All hotels have (at least a water heater). Also, I stayed the first year after it was renovated and it was all brand new and clean. This time, the cover sheets had stains and the towels become greyish. I don't understand why the hotel doesn't change their consumables after certain use!! Also, only one staff member was friendly who also helped us with other issue (for a late check out). When I asked one of the staff about toiletries she reacted like I dont know how to use a soapdispenser. I told her that they are empty and continued asis. After going back to the hotel I found 2 small soaps. The cleaners never filled up the dispensers! Also, be aware! There is no both ac and heater. You either get ac during the summer or Heater during the winter. So be aware during the season change. There is no bathrobe, bathroom amenities, slippers and satelite tv (half of the room description). The minibar needed some product cleaning. Some food seemed bad. Probably due to the on and off refridgerator switching

The hotel was modern. The decor was contemporary. Ecology was emphasized.

The staff was very polite and helpful when I had a problem with the soap dispenser late at night the staff came in 5 minutes and fixed it.The breakfast is nice and has a variety of food and drinks.The room was silent.It is renovated and looks nice.You can go to Thessaloniki's centre on foot and the place where it's situated - Ladadika - is a place with nice cafe's restaurants and places to have fun late at night such as bouzoukia.

The wifi Internet access didn't work on my smartphone but I'm not sure if it was a network fault.

Room was cold,and there was no carpet on the floor.Yhere was no sleepers.

We didn't like that it didn't have bathtub and a balcony the mattress was uncomfortable. There was something wrong with the booking they didn't have the details. We found it expensive for its value

I have stayed now the fourth time with Astoria in Thess this year....The hotel offers all you need for an appropriate accomendation. Young designed rooms, clean and fresh look, staff is rather youngish, professionell. The price/performance relation is excellent.

Friendly, helpful staff. Convenience for shopping.
