Very good Price
The parking have a extra cost 15 euro
Very uncomfortable/hard bed sheets.
small room, nosy due to many clubs around working all night
Not enough light in room
Short walk from airport bus stops; Very central; Friendly, responsive and efficient staff in reception, at breakfast and also servicing rooms; Good breakfast with fruit, and nice selection of other foods; Relaxed atmosphere; Clean bathroom and shower, good bed,; wifi excellent in lobby
They ran out of black tea - my preference - towards the end of my stay but to be fair this seems a common and widespread problem in a number of other mainland European countries in which I have stayed where they seem to prefer green tea and infusions. I should learn to carry my own teabags! Wifi a bit slow in our room
The shower space is too small, poorly designed, with shower holder in the way, no space to turn around. The bed duvet is hard, very uncomfortable.
Good location in town. Reasonable price.
Rooms in 7th floor are too hot for some unknown reason.
Sunny restaurant, nice breakfast, comfort clean rooms, perfect location next to Tsimiski street and the sea, modern decoration.
No air con in bedrooms, lots of mosquitos and no lighting in bedroom.
It is very well located just behind of the sea-side and nearby to all attractions. Hotel & rooms are very clean, even my room was budget room, it was enough and well decorated. Depend on price, it was the best option. As i m also hotelier, i really dont understand how some terrible hotels have more than 9 points (in booking.com's point system, it is really difficult to have also), while very nice hotels like Astoria has 7.3 points. If other hotels get the real points that they deserve (around 5-6 points), then i ll accept 7.3 points of Astoria, however if they receive more than 9 points with fake reviews, then Astoria deserves at least same point as well. I especially wrote long, as it is good to be honest and as i was very happy in Astoria Hotel, i hope my review ll be helpful for them.
The location of this hotel is just "perfect", you can easily stroll around the city. The price is very reasonable and it includes free wifi and continental breakfast.I would definetely recommend this hotel if you are going to Thessaloniki.
The staff ( especially the front desk) were not really knowlegable about the city, i asked a few adresses and they were not able to help me, if you ever go there, i would recommend you having a map and help yourself!
Night life, bars surrounding Astoria, restaurants in the Old Port....
Service for the breakfast, no parking place (private is pretty expensive).
The bad was too small, totally uncomfortable. The pillows are small and not comfortable. The room was with mosquitoes. It was very loud from outside. No parking.
Excellent breakfast. Good position for shops and promenard.
No bedside table on my side of the bed. No bath, just a shower, and a very cramped bathroom
The location was excellent as well as very good value for money!
The mini fridge was out of order as well as one of the side lamps. We made our complaint twice and we were told it was going to be sorted and never did!
Very good Breakfast, good location
shower was a little bit small,
We couldnt sleep because of the club music untill 7 am. Personel was terrible we couldnt ask any question! there was only 1 person on reception and she was answering phones no way to talk with her. Breakfast was insufficient
Location of the hotel. Near the center, with lots of restaurants near (Ladadika etc). Close to the center.
The breakfast could be improved. As far as the COFFEE is concerned, it's usually one of the first things you look for at a breakfast table.. BUT there is NONE around, so you have to WAIT for the waitress to bring it, while she's the only person serving, working and cleaning the tables at the same time. Please people...give us some coffee....!
I liked the position very centrally located and the room measures
Unpolite staff, lots of noise during night, not so well furnished room
The bed was extremely hard. The Internet worked - just barely.
Small bathroom with ugly curtain Not extremely clean Expensive for what if offers You had to pay 10% more if you wanted breakfast in the room.
Staffs were not very receptive.
The breakfast was really nice and traditional greek! The location is really close to the city centre.
The stuff is rude and not friendly.
Location is very central; near to Ladadika district. Breakfast was fair to us, although some may like it (we had to wait a long time for the waitress to bring us a cup of coffee or tea). Modern furniture and rooms. Modern reception desk with fast check-in and check-out process.
The bed was very small for two people. Taking a shower was very difficult (almost impossible) because of the tiny bathroom; also the towels and sheets were looking old. Since this was a budget room, it had a small window looking at the back side of the hotel. In the first day of a stay there was a Wi-Fi problem.
