A short walk from the Acropolis, 5-star Royal Olympic Hotel is centrally located near the picturesque Plaka neighborhood. The luxurious rooms overlook Zeus’s Temple, or the swimming pool garden.
Score from 2191 reviews Very good
Overlooking Pedion Areos Park, the Radisson Blu Park Hotel Athens features free Wi-Fi and is in a safe area of the city, a 5-minute walk from Victoria Metro Station.
Score from 551 reviews Good
With a great location in the center of Plaka, facing the Acropolis, this 5-star hotel has personalized service, a beautiful rooftop pool and well-furnished rooms with a buffet breakfast included.
Score from 1071 reviews Excellent
This hotel has a prestigious location in the historic heart of Athens. It has 4-star facilities, excellent views of the Acropolis and Temple of Olympian Zeus, and fine cuisine.
Score from 748 reviews Excellent
good hotel. good renovated rooms. breakfast very good and complete
parking problems with bringing car from garage, was not good at all. Had to wait 40 minutes (!) to bring my car from garage to entrée of hotel.
Room service was fast.
Reception counter luke warm response. Waited 10 mins for concierge services on main counter, 11am. rang bell but even reception staff non responsive. Finally left feeling dejected.
The price is cheaper than other country
The room is so old and everything needs be paid,of course wifi
Spacious rooms, staff eager to help, wonderful breakfast, attention to detail, selection of pillows. When small or large problems arose, the staff were ready to help!
Efficient staff, good selection at the buffet, excellent pillows and bed
location is a bit far from the centre of the city but having the service shuttle helps a lot
The bathroom shower head was not good. That's about it.
Room size, hotel facilities, gym free shuttle to syntagma square otherwise 5 euros
Wifi was horrible. If you don't pay, the free option was slow and had a 2 device limit that was incredibly difficult to switch from
In the pictures they showed a differnt view and i got entirely different view room.. thanks to IHG memebership that i got upgraded but they requested for addtional money for room with view. they charge for TV channels which is first time I have ever come across something like that.. i would give 100 points for location and other facilities.. But if you are looking for luxuary this is probably just ok place.
Very good disciplined, organised security arrangements. Welcoming smart & facilitating Reception Staff. Spacious well maintained & artistically decorated lobby. Exceptionally large, stylishly maintained room. Big toilet with large bath tub & equipped with all essential amenities. Very nice, fresh & tasty food in all the restaurants including cafe. Very well organised sight seeing tour arrangements. Free frequent regular hotel shuttle bus service to ATHENS City Centre.
No free airport shuttle service. Bed mattress was rather extra soft, which need to bit harder for proper lumber support. Unavailability of free bottled drinking water in the room. Slightly weak air conditioning during peak summer time. Lack of free HD entertainment TV channels.
1. Staff 2. Breakfast 3. Good location easy to reach. 4. Roof restaurant with view of Athens.
1. Price of car parking. 2. There are no complementary fruit and water
Helpful and friendly staff, excellent breakfast buffet. It's too bad we couldn't stay longer to take advantage of the amenities.
Great staff, large room, very nice pool and a great roof terrace with nice bar and astonishing view. Citycenter very easy to reach by taxi for less than €5,- (this is perfect, for families with children in particular).
Sleeping very good
everything the food the drinks the staff everything was perfect
the Air-condition was not working and it was the peek of the heat
the rooms where very big and comfort
the hotel was very far from city center.
Very nice rooms. Shuttle buses are going to the city center. Staff is friendly.
The breakfast is very expensive. Watching TV is a bit challenging as you need to configure the preference of channels every time before watching.
Excellent staff, easy to get to center of Athens (Syntagma) with complimentary shuttle. Great pool and comfortable, spacious room.
Big rooms, clean and comfortable. Nice big hotel
Away from resturants and coffee shops. WiFi not free Nearby adults shops.
€35 for breakfast! Outrageous Bathroom fasciitis poor and old
Big spacious rooms
Bad A/C, location is not in city center, and rooms need renovation
All of staff were excellent, quick, positive and professional. Together with the very high standards everywhere at the hotel this made it to my best hotel stay in Athen ever. Will definitely use this hotel from now on.
The included breakfast was wonderful, and the swimming pool and lobby were nice. The people e.g. receptionist, porter, business center , cleaning were polite and helpful. Taxis in Greece are cheap, so the hotel's location is no big issue.
We had expected an average room with two queen size beds (we traveled with two children). Upon arrival the hotel mentioned they had "upgraded" us to a family-room. This was actually 2 large, barren rooms. Instead of a 2nd queen, they had dropped two mattresses directly on the floor(not even in a bed frame). It contained the mini bar which we did not use since 7 euro for a coke can was not really inviting. Although other rooms looked as expected from the pictures, our "upgraded" room felt like a three star hotel with tired, 1970's furnishings (which made the upgrade more like a major downgrade). The room with the mattresses had a small round table with 3 chairs. One chair was broken (when i moved it one leg came loose, weird again). The bedroom had no windows. In summary, for a "five star hotel," this hotel had some gaping holes. Restaurant of the hotel on top floor: on the last night, we went for the restaurant on top. We arrived early and only 1 table was used by an older guy with 2 model type women. The hostess looked us up and down unapprovingly (even though we had dressed up) and made a point that we did not have a reservation. They put us in the far table in the back next to some waiter station so there was lots of activity behind us all the time. Food was presented in a fancy way, but it was bland and absolutely nothing special, although excessively priced. The view was wonderful for the group with a good table (but less for us in the back). After two hours (8-10pm) we left, during which only three other tables had arrived, all casually (shorts and baseball caps) dressed. My daughter asked why the guy with the two models had still not started eating--they'd been there the entire time--at which moment we realized those people were just props. Interesting that they did not give good seats to paying customers. The whole outdoor restaurant was 90% empty, and completely emtpy inside.
Clean, big rooms, quite. Good internet but not free
The location is a little bit away from the underground, must walk for almost 8-10mins, the staff were nice but never smile! Must pay extra for the internet.
Room with view to Parthenon Comfortable bed
