Myrto Hotel Athens  

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, they could not have been nicer. The hotel is very well situated for walking around the centre of Athens or getting the bus to/from the airport. Safe to walk outside at night. Our room was large, good sized bathroom too. Nice to have a lift and a fridge in the room.

The room was a bit tired looking and had a stained carpet, the bathroom was dirty with long black hairs (not ours) on the floor and in the basin. Our double bed was made using a single sheet sideways, so our feet were on the mattress cover with no sheet at the bottom. There was a lot of traffic noise. No balcony. The breakfast was disappointing, the previous time we had fresh fruit and yoghurt, but not this time.

Old facilities. The fridge made a lot of noises at night. Not very clean.

The neighborhood is quiet and it's right by a health food store and a vegan/ vegetarian restaurant. The man at the counter with a British? An English? Accent, was very nice. Everyone was nice, actually. Loved the balcony. Internet connectivity never timed out.

Our shower water didn't drain right away :/ and it didn't have high walls, jus t a curtain surrounding the shower area

Dark. Smelly and uncomfortable. The hotel in general is really old and needs a renovation. The room was cold. For a little more you have better options in Athens. Just for one night?, You will survive. Longer...

It is a really nice place for travellers ,the persons there are really quite nice and high english abilities, they will give you a lot of helps in all you want,own terriece is really cool made you feeling like in your own home. Mini eleventor is quite qute.which could give you more fine.

The views from windows not so good ,only can get a full view of patino temple in toilet. The mini eleventor always got problems .if you r in high floors will feelinf not so good after one day's long walk.

The hotel staff are nice and kind, and the breakfast they provided is good.

The location of the hotel is a little bit difficult for me to find as I'm a single girl.

Very cold room, air conditioning is not working.

Location is good to the square Sintagma, and to the bus which is going to the airport! Quiet room!

Very old furniture, noisy air-condition! Street is small like always in Greece, just its difficult to walk with luggages on the street.

old, really old, maybe not renewed in 30 years the elevator was too small for 2 people with suitcases and slow the carpet of the room was awful and disgusting a sign on the toilet warn you not to through paper inside it the bathroom was totally unacceptable, old noisy , I could hear the traffic from the 3rd floor. What else....??

There was a big hole in the floor boards under the carpet in ouir room which was awkward to walk on. A very minor issue

the staff is real excellent, very accommodating, even interpreting Greek for us while placing our Pizza order, and making sure that our car rental reservation is secure! the breakfast was real good, not only the usual and terrible continental choices(toast , butter and jam).. they had wonderful yoghurt, eggs, nutella and fruits! the location is unbeateble for a budget hotel!

it is a little old, but who cares we had everything we were looking for!

The hotel was basic, but clean and comfortable enough. It was in a perfect location to visit the acropolis and wander around Plaka. The staff were all, without exception, friendly and helpul. So much so, that we decided to stay here again on our return journey.

The rooms could do with a bit of tlc.
