The hotel is well situated and comfortable. Near to everything in a very vibrant area. The breakfast was fine and one waitress in particular very nice and attentive to the needs of the clients - wish I had got her name. The rest of the staff were efficient but not particularly welcoming or friendly. One young lady in particular had a bit of "attitude". I know it is the end of a long very busy tourist season but normally hotel staff in Athens at other places I have stayed have been more friendly. |

Staff were friendly & helpful. I stayed at the rear of the hotel in the "new" wing. The room was a good size although the bed was a bit hard. The bathroom was very clean with a full size bath and a good shower which I understand can be hard to find in Greece. No kettle or coffee maker in room. Several sets of stairs between lifts to rooms in the newer wing and the lobby. |

Central location in Athens. Near everything. Excellent breakfast. Noisy if your room is near the lifts. Watch the taxi drivers as they will rip you off without a moments hesitation. |

The location is perfect for city trip visitors. It's located only a few meteres from the Syntagma Centre and when you walk out of the hotel you are just a few meters from the shopping/restaurant area of monastriaki. Breakfast was good, but no fresh fruit available. The view. The Astor Hotel has a view on the acropolis from the restaurant for the same money. This Hotel looks out at other buildings. The balcony was to small. |

Proximity to sights and able to walk to most locations with a young child. No washing and drying facilities for people with young children.Breakfast provided variety for a fussy child. |

The breakfast was of high standard compared to other hotel stays and the location is ideal in regards to accessing public transport and seeing what we wanted to see during our stay. Cleaners walking into the room before 11.00am |

The location was excellent.Very near ,around 3 min(by foot) from Hotel to Syntgma Square. You can get to any where from Syntgma square, there is metro, bus station,taxi..etc.. But the rate of 117 Euro per night was too expensive for this kind of Hotel. The facilities were ordinary.Rooms were ordinary. Not worth this cost. But I think all hotels in this area charge the same or more. |

From the moment of arrival until the time we left everything about the Athens Cypria was perfect for us. The staff were very welcoming, the room was large, spotless and very comfortable with the extra nice touches of fruit in the room and a welcome drink at the bar. The breakfasts gave a wide choice and were always kept well stocked and tables cleared immediately. The position of the hotel was easy to find and we enjoyed being amongst the "cafe society" of the bars in our street. We know and love Athens and would definitely stay here again. Terific value for money in a main city. |

location it's a minor thing, but towels smelled a bit of smoke.. I'm sorry to say it, but this is pretty much commonplace in Greece... |

The location is perfect: major historic sites are within easy reach and walking distance. Numerous dining spots are at hand. No noise at night. The range of services is limited but the reception is helpful and friendly. Breakfast fresh and sufficient (surely you cannot expect variety). The weak point is cleanleness. On our arrival, hairs on the floor by the bed and dust on all surfaces, lays of it getting thicker and thicker from day to day. I drew on the mirror and no-smoking sign - no reaction. Considering that one of us was allergic to domestic dust - no fun. I was not very much sure about proper sanitation in the bathroom. Disgusting. Asking for a bath cap at the reception is also not very comfortable. Better management. At present they do not bother to make efforts as the location is good and the hotel is popular. Obviously, the cleaners must be supervised and their work better controlled. |
