Was very nice staff, and close to Gazi and Psiri which were good for eating and bars. The streets around the hotel seemed to be a bit dodgy and quiet to me, did not bother me much as I was staying with my boyfriend, but if I had been by myself as a single female traveller it probably would have concerned me going out there by myself at night. We did not have any incidents that indicated it was dodgy was just a general feeling I got. |

Location to the train station was great. hotel rooms realatively clean. Staff were helpful. If too many quests are showering at the sametime then the shower water would go cold. |

Situación We were travelling with a baby and in the middle of our three- nights- stay we were asked to change room because a group was coming and the hotel needed our room... One of the afetrnoons the hot water did not work and we could not bath the baby or make its dinner (hot milk). The room was very dirty, we could notice very well after the baby crawled around... The room had cracks on ceiling and walls in the dormitory and bathroom... |

There is absolutely nothing I liked about this hotel. More like a run-down hostel. Breakfast was a bowl of cereal. Air condition didn't work, room noisy, linens dirty, smoking room, tiny bathroom, didn't even have soap! Checked out 4 days early and hassled and charged for a second night. I felt better outside with the derelicts than I did inside with this crummy room and hotel. No way is it 3 star - more like one. |

Great location, very friendly staff, close to both Metro and Bus links. Continental breakfast fell short of expectations for 3 star hotel. |

Although hotel/rooms were quite small, it was clean and tidy. Staff was very helpful and breakfast was also fine. Rooms were too small. Also, it is highly recommended they upgrade rooms and bathrooms. Towels also were not that fresh though they were clean. Location seems to be good as it is in central area of Athens but looks not safe. Not recommended to walk late nights. |

Bathroom was in pretty bad shape and the room was not cleaned up when I arrived so I had to ask for another one. Woman working at the restaurant did not speak a word of English. |

Staff were very friendly. I had a good, clean, comfortable room, The location is actually very good for downtown Athens. I walked to Syntagma, to Plaka (then on to the new Acropolis museum, thence to the Acropolis itself, the Parthenon, etc.). Also convenient for the Metro. I didn't have a problem coming or going at any hour, but others might find the immediate neighbourhood scary or just plain dirty/noisy and therefore off-putting. This part of Athens is currently home to a great many "illegal migrants" and, some people who are addicted to certain substances. Although I didn't have a problem on the streets around the hotel, I would advise caution (i.e. don't go down side streets at night, stick to the main road). If you are coming from Omonia Square in the evening/at night, about 5 mins up from the hotel by foot, just stick to the main road, look like you know the area, and walk straight to the hotel. There are police outside the next door building, guarding it coz it's a govt. property. I would not recommend this area, however, to single women, people who are nervous in such areas, maybe elderly people... it's definitely not the nicest part of Athens (sorry!). |

The location of the hotel is good, 5 minutes to metro station Omonia. Lots of shops in the area. The area is a bit shady at night, but for someone whose used to living in a big city really not that bad. We did not feel unsafe at night. The staff was very friendly and the room was simple, but clean. The shower was too small and the breakfast was poor. |

The staff is very friendly, the room is good with a litle balcony! It's a very nice Hotel! From Omonia square going to the hotel there are some strange people ( i think they are drug dealers, and drug adicts), most of the time during the evening. But there are police in the street, so thats ok to walk. |

The breakfast was the high point of our stay. A strong cup of coffee with hot milk, hard boiled eggs, cheese, meat, Greek olives, cereal w/milk and bread with jam and juice. Nicely done. The bathrooms were small with tiny showers but the staff was kind and willing to help. The neighborhood was a difficult one for a soft or unsure of traveler. Most of the time each block had 3-4 armed police watching the crowds of people. Many prostitutes and a risky area, unsure of four men following myself and my two teenage daughters one evening. It would not be my first choice on a return trip with my children only for this reason. I would chose a different neighborhood. But, for the money it was okay. |

Completely renovated in December 2003, our cosy hotel is more than a conveniently located residence in the centre of Athens with stunning views; it is a home away from home. |
Exarchion Hotel is located on Exarchia Square, one of Athens' most lively areas. Just a 5-minute walk from the National Archaeological Museum, the hotel is surrounded by shops, restaurants and cafes. |
This beautiful 4-star hotel is situated in the heart of Athens, near Syntagma Square and Omonoia Square, in one of the most central spots of the town. |
The Apollo Hotel is ideally close to the Acropolis and Syntagma Square, in the heart of Athens, within walking distance to many other interesting sites. |
