This family run hotel enjoys a hillside location, 1 km from the Thermal Baths of Pozar. It offers a pool with massage jets, a lobby bar with fireplace and luxurious rooms with mountain views. Athina’s guest rooms are styled either with contemporary or traditional décor. They all come with hydromassage shower cabin, flat-screen TV and heating/air conditioning, while most rooms also feature a fireplace. Hotel Athina is perfectly situated for walks in Edessa (30 km), or skiing at Vorras Ski Centre, and shopping at Aridaia. We booked a superior room at Hotel Athina and although we stayed for only two nights we couldn't be more satisfied with our choice. The room was spacious and clean, the fireplace beautiful (with lots of wood to burn!) and the jacuzzi of the room simply amazing. We left in the afternoon for three hours or so and when we got back, everything was as clean as the first day (even the fireplace-no ashes at all and more wood to burn.) The personnel was incredibly nice and helpful, there were enough parking spots and Pozar Baths were less than 1 km away...(about spa facilities:the pool is not open during winter but A.you have hydromassage facilities or a jacuzzi in every room if I am not mistaken and B. you will spend most of your time in Pozar Thermal Baths and not the hotel spa anyway) We would definetely stay there again! More variety for breakfast would be great.
