Athina Villas  

What we enjoyed about Athina Villas was Manolis. His hospitality and kindness made our trip fantastic. The apartment was a great size. Nice to have an actual sitting area. The patio over looking the ocean was lovely. And the local restaurant 2 doors down served great food. The price was definitely nice.

Could use a few more things in the kitchen (only had a ladle to use when cooking, no cutting board or veggie peeler). These are simple things. No other complaints.

Walking distance by the sea and small restaurants & tavernas. Located in the peaceful village of Plaka. Manolis, the owner is very frendly and helpful and always available when we needed him. When we arived there were fruit juices & water in the fridge and when we left we were offered raki & olive oil. Great hospitability!! Will certainly be back!!

Partire come turista e tornare a casa come parte integrante del Paese che hai visitato. E' questa la sensazione che riporti dopo aver soggiornato presso il residence Athina Villas. L'estrema gentilezza del gestore Manolis, la cura al benessere degli ospiti e la località, Plaka, a soli 5 Km da Elounda.... vicina ai divertimenti, ma non troppo da subirne gli aspetti negativi. Insomma lo consiglio assolutamente senza particolari note di demerito. Qualora si decidesse per questa struttura, l'aeroporto consigliato è Iraklion.... Se si atterra a Chania, considerare di percorrere almeno 210 Km.

Замечательный хозяин отеля Манолис, доброта и гостепреимство которого скрашивали все небольшие минусы отеля. Удобное месторасположение, до моря 150 м. По желанию постояльцев, помощь в организации различных развлечений, например рыбалки. Очень понравилось. Обязательно вернемся в этот отель.

Старое оборудование кухни, которое следует заменить.

Vi benyttet hotellet til overnatting da vi skulle besøke Spinalonga.Leiligheten var stor,ren og praktisk.Meget god plass til 5 voksne. Stor veranda med utsikt over fjell,hav,landsbyen og Spinalonga. Båten ut til Spinalonga går fra brygga kun 2 minutter å gå fra hotellet. Vi ble møtt av Manolis Goniotakis som var hjelpsom og gav oss all informasjon vi trengte. bedre beliggenhet finner du ikke i Plaka-Elounda , Kreta

Tot molt bé, un molt bon record de l'estada. El propietari, en Manolis, molt amable I molt atent des del moment que vam arribar. El lloc és senzill, sense grans luxes, però tot molt correcte. En Manolis et pot fer sentir com un invitat més que com un client. Un molt bon detall és el de l'oli I el Raki fet a casa que ens va oferir en Manolis el dia de la notra marxa. El poble és petit I acollidor I el paisatge molt bonic. Nosaltres hi vam anar fora de temporada , potser a l'estiu hi hagi més gent però malgrat tot el lloc no deixa de ser molt tranquil. Altament recomenat!

Todo, es un lugar maravilloso, no tendría quejas. Para empezar el responsable de las instalaciones es encantador, antes de llegar, nos escribia para concretar la hora de la recepcion, nos tenía preparados unos zumos y agua en la nevera, el apartamento nos costaba 30e los dos, por noche, baratisimo. Está a 100 metros de la playa, y que playas, agua cristalina. Es una zona muy turistica, ni un solo español, todo guiris, alemanes, ingleses, etc..., fantástico está en frente de una isla que es muy visitada, hacen escucrsiones diarias. En fin, que deciros, por ese dinero jamás dormiré tan bien. El Dueño, Manel, un amor! Al irnos nos regaló licor local, típico griego y una botella de aceite.. Y dos zumos para el viaje!!!! Fantastico! Mejor visitarlo!!! ALL, it is a wonderful place, there would be complaints. το διαμερισμα ήταν κουκλίστικο, πολύ κομψο και άριστα εξοπλισμένο για να παρέχει στο φιλοξενούμενο όλες τις ανέσεις, και ιντερνετ!. βρίσκεται μεσα σ΄ενα ωραιο κήπο, σε πολύ μικρη απόσταση από την υπέροχη παραλία της πλάκας.ο ιδιοκτήτης ιδιαίτερα φιλόξενος, μας υποδέχτηκε με ευγένεια και μας εδωσε όλες τις αναγκαίες πληροφορίες και συμβουλές. μας εκανε εντύπωση οτι μας περίμενε με ανοιχτό το κλιματιστικό και με παγωμένο νερό και πορτοκαλάδα, καθώς είχαμε ερθει με πολυ ζεστη. οταν φυγαμε μας αποχαιρετισε με ενα μπουκαλάκι λάδι και ρακί. σίγουρα θα ξαναπάμε μέχρι το τέλος του καλοκαιριού. απλά καταπληκτικα!

O ιδιοκτήτης ήταν εξαιρετικά φιλοξενοσ,εξυπηρετικός,προσχαρος. φερθηκε σαν να ηταν φιλος μας και απλα μας φιλοξενουσε .οταν φθασαμε ειχε ανοιχτο το a/c για να ειναι δροσερο το δωματιο ,να ξεκουραστουμε και ειχε κρυο χυμο στο ψυγείο .φευγοντας μας δωρισε τοπικα προιοντα ,ρακι και λαδι.το ξενοδοχείο ειναι σε εξαιρετικη τοποθεσια , διπλα στη θαλασσα και κοντα στον αγ.νικολαο. εχει αυλή κ ειναι σε αριστη κατασταση .το δωμάτιο ηταν ανετο , πεντακαθαρο κ ειχε κουζινα. αισθανθηκαμε πως φιλοξενηθηκαμε στη μονοκατοικία ενος φίλου και οχι σαν να ημαστε σε ενα κρυο , απροσωπο ξενοδοχείο. μπραβο στον ιδιοκτητη, κανει εξαιρετικη δουλεια !!!!!! The owner was extremely hospitable and friendly. He treated us as a friend! He even gave us souvenirs at the check-out local products, raki and oil. The hotel is in great position next to the sea kai near Saint Nikolaos. Also, is in excellent condition and very clean with a yard .WE FELT LIKE HOME !! WELLDONE!!

The owner was very helpful and gave us a lot of information about the area when we arrived. He had also texted us to check our arrival time. There was a small kitchen which gives guests more flexibility and there was complimentary water and orange drink. It is very close to the island of Spinalonga as well as several beaches. If you want to relax away from hordes of tourists, this is a great spot.

No internet access. As the owner is not on site, your phone needs to be working.
