This is my favourite budget priced hotel in Heraklion - I wouldn't now stay anywhere else. The staff are all very helpful and friendly, it is always a pleasure to return - I must have stayed here over a dozen times now. It is all absolutely fine.

Friendly, helpful staff, Well soundproofed windows. Reasonable bar prices. Great breakfast for 5 Euros. Excellent location. I will stay there the next time I visit Heraklion The address given by the hotel is Eth.Antistaseos . When I entered this into my TomTom it directed me to the south east of the city. However, Leoforous Eth.Antistaseos works. Perhaps you could look into that, :)

One of the best hotels I've stayed in (I'm a business traveler who spends about 200 nights a year in hotel around the world). The staffs were amazing. A special thanks goes to Miltos for all his help with finding good restaurants. I'd love to come back to his hotel at some other time. Thank you for such a wonderful time. None!

The location is great, near from the bus station as well as the port. Friendly and helpful stuff. The room is clean, with a balcony. Wifi doesn't work that well. At least the signal in my room is not stable.

We found the Athinaiko a most comfortable Hotel....Very nice Room, Breakfast was also Good....... The staff, Manager and Katrina. Were very helpful and friendly....Nothing was a bother to them in Helping us during our stay !!!! I would recommend this hotel to ALL persons desiring a GOOD Hotel !!!!!!

The Hotel could not be more perfect for - The Port, airport, the bus station and the city center ( 10 mins walk ) As i was island hopping i wanted to be as near as possible to the port and the bus station ... perfect and the staff were wonderful - i had a problem with my hotel booking and ferry booking -they took care of it for me .. above the call of duty in my eyes... Not that i didnt like - just small but very clean and basic...

the reception staff were fantastic, very helpful. the breakfast was good, there was free parking right outside the door, it was clean, it was pleasant, it was central and easy to get to from the airport in the hire car. the bedspreads were synthetic, but it didn't matter because the climate is so lovely I only needed a sheet,

We chose the Athinaiko due to it's proximity to the port which is within walking distance. We arrived late around 11pm and had to be up early for the ferry so we didn't get to use many facilities. The reception staff were excellent, very friendly and couldn't do enough to help-it was a lovely welcome to a beautiful country. We had to leave by 7.30 and breakfast wasn't served until 7.30 so unfortunately we missed out but the staff didn't charge us so that was fine. As we didn't want to venture far after a long day's travel, we stayed at the hotel for a drink in the evening and it was very pleasant. The man on reception gave us some books to read and picked us some fresh basil. It was lovely.Highly recommended.

It was close to the airport as well as the city center and we felt it was good value for money. We arrived tired from our flight at around midnight, so it was great to discover that the bar was open all night! Despite being in the city, the rooms were quiet and we all slept well. We felt very welcome. The staff were excellent - very professional, friendly, polite and helpful.
