Excellent staff, the owners are very helpful and friendly. Location is good, althought just on the edge of the dodgy area. |

The Hotel is centraly located, close to everything that a tourist would like to see. We had problems with the hot water in the rooms. We either did not have any hot water or we have had problems getting it up to the second floor. |

The warm and friendly hotel staff going out of their way to accomodate our needs, and the excellent location, within easy walking distance to Acropolis and most other main sights. Mosquitos in the room and noise by other hotel guests during one of the nights we stayed there, admittedly both things mostly out of the control of the hotel staff. |

realy simple, basic hotel situated in the heart of the Athens. the good variant for the people who are not comfort-addicted and prefer to spent time not in room but in the city. free wi-fi and nice, hospitable owners. in my room there was only small window with a view on a wall. there was no daylight at all. the level of noise (when somebody speeks in a hall, goes upstairs by woody steps etc.) were realy high. |

We found that the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room that we got had all the basic necessities to be expected for the price we paid for. Importantly, it was clean and we did not experience any danger walking back late at night. Noise levels, as our room faced the street however that's the offside for getting a place with good location as all of the streets in Athens city centre are noisy! The hotel could probably do with fixing up of their windows to make it more soundproof but as I said, you get what you pay for. |

Location, its near monastiraki metro station ( 10 min walk) Horribly noisy. We stayed there 2 nights & did not sleep on either. All night you can hear people talking at the reception & walking up & down the wooden staircase. Stay here only if you are ok not sleeping. |

The women at the reception (so called) is very nice an friendly. The room was clean. I wouldn't recommend it to a girls/women travelling alone. It can be quite dangerous to walk back to the hotel at night. The drugdealers and hookers were screaming outside all night long. |

The location is an easy walk (10 minutes) to the Agora, Acropolis, Plaka, and Monostiraki station if you need to take a train. It's a 20 minute walk to the Archaological Museum and Temple of Zeus and other sites also. The woman at the desk is helpful. The location compared to other hotels we looked at near Ommonia Square is great especially for the price. Ommonia is ten minutes away but you notice a dramatic difference. Somebody smoked on our floor and it seeped into our room a couple nights. If you're on the street side (we weren't), I imagine it's pretty noisy. The sign is obscured by scafolding so look for the address. The older man at the desk isn't exactly endearing but he was only there occasionally. He was on the phone one night yelling at someone and woke us up on the 3rd floor. The wooden stairs create a lot of noise and there's no elavator. |

The place is very clean, is aircon. Has free wi fi access and a tv. However there is no lift and so is not handicap friendly. This place is value for money especially for those on a tight budget. |

Many of the historical sites were within walking distance -- the price was very afordable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Many local interesting small shops of ethnic interest and cafes handy. After dark, my wife was very uncomfortable right outside the hotel area, when alone, due to the type of people on the streets -- was okay when on main street -- just around the corner. |

The hotel was very central to the historical sites we wished to see (e.g. Acropolis, Temple of Zeus, etc.). It was also convenient to shopping, eating, areas. Yet the price was reasonable. I will recommend this hotel to others traveling to Athens. The exterior is not attractive now, but this is temporary because of current renovations. |

Convenient location, just a 5 min walk to Monastiraki at the foot of the Acropolis. Its a cheap hotel - that is what you get for our money. The room was smelly. Noisy because of the thin walls - I could hear my neighbour opening a can. |

Good central location near the centre of Athens. Close to some good resturants and sight seeing. It was not a problem for me but you need to note there are a lot of stairs to climb in this hotel and there is no lift. Nice owners. |

The hotel is basic, but clean and in a great location within walking distance of the Acropolis. It is much better value for money than other places we looked at in Athens. We stayed in the front room one night and it was quite noisy throughout the night due to traffic noise from the street. However, we switched to a room at the back of the building which was quiet. |

The staff was really kind and helpfull. Price is quite cheap for Athens, but location is awfull !!! Really dark street not really where you want to hang out ... Lucky the taxi dropped me right in front of the door, because I would have been scared to walk there by myself !!!! (and i'm a guy !). |

It was close to Monastiraki. The room was extremely small and dark. I felt like I was living in a closet. It had just a small window. The hotel has nothing else. No lobby, refrigerator, food, even elevator! You have to carry all your luggage up the stairs to your room yourself. I've had a much better experience in hostels! |

Free Wi Fi. Was the only good thing. And the location is quite central There was no elevator which made it hard to carry our luggage to the third floor. We had not blankets either. Only sheets. I was very upset with my stay at this hotel. When we arrived there was construction work going on to the whole building. We were unable to open our window as the construction metal was in the way. IT was loud and hammering was going on all the time |

Great location, right down main street btwn the Omonia and Monastraiki Metro Stations (the latter being a connection from the airport via suburban rail and the direct line to the port of Piraeus). Basic yet very clean and while no breakfast, there is a bakery directly across the street and many nearby kiosks and restaurants. Highly recommended for short stay in Athens. |
