more than expected for the price. near airport and near major shopping area in thessaloniki. breakfast. if you come later it is half gone. I did not expect more for the money. |

The room was dirty, there were hairs all over the bedsheets. The lamp was broken. The chair arm was broken. The bath and sink were dirty. There was mould and peeling in between the tiles in the bathroom. The window wouldn't open. There were bed bugs. |

It's close to the airport I think the stars rating of the Greek hotels in general cannot be trusted anymore. This is definetely not a 4 star hotel, I think 2 is more appropriate. Breakfast, rooms, reception, pool area are all poor. It's ok for a nap before flying, as it's close to the airport, but that's that. |

The personnel was helpful indeed, even in some awkard situations. TV was out of order, bath curtain was falling. Also smth peculiar: hotel was chosen due to proximity to airport and having an early morning flight to catch. When went to the reception to check out, there was nobody there for 15', because the only available person at reception was also being used as taxi driver too!!!! (by the way we were actually taken to the airport too) |

Very close to airport. Clean. Quiet. Easy to find. Hotel staff kind, specially at the bar/ restaurant. Worthy if you need to be very close to the airport. Nevertheless for other reasons it is much nicer to stay in the center of Thessaloniki. Appears to be new but it looks as if not a lot of maintenance investment in the facilities. In one of our rooms there were two problems: The room card did not work to allow lights on. The toilet water did not work. Both problems were fixed by receptionist and maintenance. |

I was only 2 nights in hotel. For the purpose of couple of days stay, its ok. Considering other hotel prices this one has good price/performance ratio. Its not easy to find it, even with gps. Rooms are tidy but some dust cleaning should be apreciated |

Close to the airport This is not a 4* hotel. There was no elevator to our rooms (at the basement) so we had to carry our luggage on stairs. The shower didn't work properly. |

Very quite envirnoment, easy to find, competitive price, good position (regarding main roads), good airconditioning, very clean ... Last year was the first time that I used this hotel, and I had to wait almost 45 min to get the room, so this year I made that remark when I have booked my room. This year they did not have the reserved room but I got immediatelly the better room for the same price. Everything was done in the second. |

Arrived near midnight, on_duty manager was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was very clean and well appointed. Manager made sure that we made it to the airport on time for very early flight. Location is hard to find unless you have a local to help (e.g., taxi driver, tour guide, etc.) |

Athina Palace is a relaxing place to stay. Comfort and cleanliness are both excellent. Food is of good quality and reasonably priced. Pool area is very pleasant. |

Convenience to airport The description of the restaurant on the website is totally misleading - I thought we were to dine in an elegant restaurant, whereas it is dark & dingy (dark brown cloths) and a very limited menu choice - a working cafeteria more than a restaurant. |

Pool Water seept up through the floor boards getting socks wet in room. Ants in room. spa is very run down, along with tennis courts. Way to much money for what u received. In the states this would be under $100. It was $120 Uros or $170 per night. It has potential it's jst run dn. On the positive side, Phil was very helpful and a great staff member. Closeness to airport was huge. |

Open airy facility with good swimming pool, tennis court available though in need of some maintenance, ideal stop for Thessaloniki Airport for onward/return travel in Greece. Second visit so must be good! Menu could be a little more extensive. |

We got transportation to the airport early in the morning by a nice nightportier. The food ( lasagne) tasted good but contained too little meat. The cappuchino was cold and expensive. The baquette that we had as early breakfast was too hard to eat . |

I chose this hotel as it was close to the airport and had a gym. Probably used more by business travellers. Being close to the airport meant I could relax before my flight. I was a little concerned having read previous reviews but pleasantly surprised - the staff were helpful and the room spotless. |
