Attalos Hotel  

The hotel rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, location and view are great, breakfast good. Tip: some of the higher level rooms have also nice view over the Acropolis

Not a place to come by car, as it do not have parking place, but there is a parking place nearby.

Staff was friendly. 3 computers for free internet access. need to get better soap.

Great location, an easy 15 minute walk to the Acropolis. Very friendly staff, fantastic views from the rooftop bar.

Amazing views of the Acropolis from our balcony and from the rooftop bar :-) Located right in the center of Plaka beside everything a tourist wants to see.

They make you leave your keys at the front desk when leaving the hotel and they do not ask you for ID when you return and ask for a key card, which are kept visibly in an eye level wall box of cubbyholes behind the front desk. That said, I would stay there again.

We stayed here last year as well, on advice from seasoned guests, and was impressed by it's location and friendly staff. We will return next summer and will stat here again, as it is perfect for our purpose.

Not much negative to write, this time I had to call the front desk to get hot water for the shower, but in a few minutes that was taken care of.

Friendly front staff, nice bartender on the roof. The roof deck is as good as everyone says. Perfect unobstructed Acropolis view to the south. We stayed in the rear, I assume if you stay on the street side it can be loud at night, since Attalos is in a busy district. The Agora and Acropolis are easy walking distance away. So is main Monastiraki metro station, which can take you to airport and Piraeus port. Rooms are simple, comfortable - a few steps above backpacker.

If you're looking for modern, Attalos has more of a 70/80s feel to the decor and surroundings.

este hotel attalos., se lo recomiendo a todos esta en buen lugar serca de la estacion de tren y al mismo pasa muchos buses de diferente rutas, esta en el centro de la ciudad de greecia, lugar muy limpio tiene de todo el personal del hotel fue muy agradable con el turista.......( *_ * ) soy de honduras and colombia

The staff were very friendly and helpful and it was a bonus that they spoke and understood English...

The fact that the restaraunt and bar were not open at all during our stay....was disappointed we weren't able to use them...

It is close to a subway station and provided a good price.

Facilities are not in a great condition. I was completely disapointed at this hotel's atmosphere and design.

The location of the hotel is really great. It takes less then 5 minutes to get to the nearest metro station and about 10 minutes to get to a nice pedestrian street around the Acropolis, where there are lots of restaurants.

I stayed at the hotel in winter and it was rather cool in my room. Use of air-conditioner made the room stuffy.

Breakfast expensive for us.

Friendly staff and the metro station is very near.

Reception is polite kind and gentle. He gave me a cup of hot milk for free when we arrive at the midnight.

Not easy to find the place and the environment around is a little crowded.
