Attalos Hotel  

The hotel rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, location and view are great, breakfast good. Tip: some of the higher level rooms have also nice view over the Acropolis

Not a place to come by car, as it do not have parking place, but there is a parking place nearby.

great convenient location. staff were very helpful in giving directions to various places-souflaki stands, Metro, Agora etc.

Polite and patient people at the desk. Excellent English which put us to shame. Very helpful. A lovely bar at the top of the building and comfortable bedrooms. The location is just superb, near the metro and to the ancient sites and streets. Could not be bettered. We have now stayed 3 times and each time we have been received cordially and efficiently.

Perfect reception and service

We chose this hotel mainly because of it's location. It is in the heart of a main shopping street, with many restaurants nearby and many sights within easy access.Th roof top bar was excellent and provided a beautiful view over the city and the Acropolis. We enjoyed an excellent breakfast daily which was varied and plentiful in pleasant surroundings. Our room had a good sized balcony which was also a bonus. The room was clean and made up daily and the staff where helpful and friendly. The WiFi also worked well. We would definitely consider this hotel again.

Bearing in mind that this is a two star hotel, we could not find any faults during our stay.

The location was fantastic, just down the road from the Monastiraki metro station and flea market. The price was very good. There is a fantastic roof top terrace and bar with views of the acropolis.

If I had to be critical I'd say I would have liked a balcony rather than a window facing into the courtyard, and the hairdryer didn't work. But given the price and location and the roof top terrace, the balcony was not an issue, and given the temperatures in Greece, neither was the hairdryer!

Clean rooms, excellent service, great view from rooftop bar, great location, near metro, Monastiraki flea market and walking distance to Acropolis. Odd neighborhood, hotel was located between 2 hardware stores. Definitely not a luxury hotel but best value for the money- would use again and recommend to others.

Good location. It was close to the all tourist spots and metro station. It was easy access for airport. We could see the Parthenon from roof top bar and a private balcony on 5 th floor. Staffs were also kind.

Everything was perfect!

The place was referred to me by a friend whom had stayed here. He said it was in a good area. I find that he is quite correct; it is a short walk from the main area, but the location itself seems sheltered from the usual hustle bustle of a downtown area, and it is quiet in the evenings. The staff are very friendly and helpful, breakfast coffee was delicious, too.

Location and roof garden with view of Acropolis. Service was ecxellent especially Reception. Rooms were very clean and excellent value for money.

The terrace bar could be better stocked with some small food items besides ham/cheese on toast - some other finger food wouls be good The lady at the breakfast counter was so nice and friendly, I am sorry she missed me when leavinf I would have liked to say thank you
