Hotel has excellent location: 50 m to Beach and 10 Km to Thessaloniki. 2Nd floor has been renovated!!! Great!!!

Beach is dirty!!! Unbelivable!!! Clean perea!!!

Friendliness of the staff

On my last day I informed 2 staff members that I would need a taxi the next morning to take me to the airport. Both staff members assured me that the taxi stand was close by. When I came down at 5am to catch my 6:30am flight I was informed that the taxi drivers were on strike. This required me to run through the streets with my baggage and try to catch a city bus. I feel they should stay abreast of the news, be aware of any strikes and inform guests as early as possible.

Very kind and helpful personnel. If we have some questions regarding being in Greece, everyone did best to help us.

Perosnal is very polite. Speaking English and ready to help. Location is perfect - just few meters to the beach area and walking street. Air conditioned rooms have been cleaned every day. It's one of less hotels in Perea where you can get in contact via e-mail or internet. Other good poin is that you can pay by card.

Rooms are small. So called family room is std double room with one more bed which in fact is "eating" the space.

Bed really uncomfortable, too short, pillow too hard. Also noisy, you can hear people living the hotel all night long.

Staff very friendly and knowledgable. Facicities were very good. Rooms very clean and well appointed. Excellennt beach very close to hotel. All in all a very enjoyable short stay. Nad will no doubt be doing it again in the future. ray & anne Fallows

The hotel staff were extremely polite, kind and attentive. The hotel room we stayed in was freshly renovated and nice.

Builbing work been done at hotel total top floor,skip out side,cement mixer at door uncovered electric wiring,,builders pullie pasting balcony,etc,,health and safety,???,as for noise in mornings very lould,,,no hot water,smell from drain in bathroom.very small childrens bunk beds as beds most uncomtable wooden slats, very thin mattress,late night kabab shop facing hotel too,,breakfast vrey bad valve,water down orange,roll,tea 5euro,,, the staff some very nice other could not care less and it shows,,shame,, try othe hotels near by on beach ,same price and a lot better

очень чистый, экономичный отель на берегу моря. ценно то, что он расположен рядом с салониками (час на автобусе, который ходит каждые пять минут). хозяева очень внимательны и радушны.

Ich verbrachte 5 Tage im Hotel Avra zusammen mit meiner 12 jährigen Tochter mitte Oktober 2011. Besonders gefallen hat mir die supernette Betreuung durch das Personal. Die Besitzerin des Hotels spricht sehr gut englisch, sie ist auch meistens anwesend. Die anderen 2 Teammitglieder sprachen griechisch, aber mit Händen und Füssen kamen wir immer zur gewünschten Auskunft. Unglaublich gut finde ich das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Ich kann nicht verstehen, wieso das Hotel nur 2 Sterne hat, da hätte ich niemals so etwas gepflegtes erwartet. Ich hatte das Hotel nur wegen anderer positiver Beurteilungen gebucht. Die Lage ist toll, ein paar Schritte vom Strand entfernt, wo sich eine Vielzahl Restraurants befinden. Es waren richtige Schlemmerferien. Die Restaurantbesitzer sprechen zwar kaum englisch, da es in dieser Gegend fast ausschliesslich griechische Touristen gibt, aber eine Speisekarte in englisch war stets zu haben.

Allgemein darf in Griechenland in Restaurants und Hotels geraucht werden, und es scheinen dort alle wie die Kamine zu rauchen. An 2 Tagen war es sehr kühl, so dass sich die Leute drinnen aufhielten, die Luft war dann dementsprechend.
