Lots of tavernas and bars both on the harbour and in the town. There are several small supermarkets which stock a big variety, but don't think Waitrose. We liked the Tropicana platanos taverna, the seahorse hotel (to eat) and the bakery. On the negative side you will leave Molivos fitter than when you arrived. i loved molivos so much to do, the people were great and the food delicious - try going to Castro restaurant for a delicous Pizza and a drink! and ask the owner to play backgamman/Tavli !! a real Greek experiance

Mithimna is a really picturesque place which has retained its traditional character. There are spectacular views. The castle is well worth visiting. You can enjoy walking through the narrow streets and feeling is if you are in another time and place. Even in late October it is possible to bathe and there were a few restaurants and cafes open. There are many restaurants in the small harbour serving fresh fish and seafood.MaryGreece

The Hotel is very well run and a wonderful quiet setting just minutes away from Molivos. The family shared so much knowledge of the island and clearly all love and care about Nature. When we return this will definitely be our base for the North of beautiful Lesbos. Thank you for making our stay so relaxing. The breakfast is well presented and provides a wide choice of home made food, bread and conserves.
