My friends were staying at the Hilton which was only a block away. The cost there was out of sight for me so I chose the Ilisia and was still very close to them. My room was very quiet and comfortable. My friends at the Hilton complained of the noise from the 13th floor nightclub and also from the club across the street. I heard none of that. My breakfast was just right and included in the room. They had to pay 29 euro each to have breakfast at the Hilton. They were wishing they had chosen the Ilisia as well. The front desk staff was superb. I turned in my key each time I left the hotel and they recognized me, giving me the right key upon my return without my having to tell them a name or room number. I was impressed. I felt very safe, a woman alone. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other travels ... great value.

decent bedroom. Did not like the closed in location, busy commercial area. Small balcony overlooked by by seemingly disused building. Poor buffet breakfast.

The staff was nice and friendly... The hotel has private parking places which are not on the street so the car is safe during the stay... The neighbourhood seemed good and felt safe... No wi-fi in the rooms... It is not within a walking distance from the centre (unless you dont mind walking 20 min to syntagma square, or 30 min to acropolis), but I have to note we had a car so it didnt pose a problem for us, and also I dont know wheather the metro is close because we didnt use it...

The wifi didn't work and the breakfast was very poor. No fresh fruits neither fresh vegetables (quite strange for a hotel in Greece in summer), no tea and diluted orange juice (max 20% orange).

Very friendly and helpful staff who spoke excellent English, good breakfast and clean rooms. Although the value for money was fair, I think this hotel can do with a renovation. The rooms were clean but the tiles were old which detract from the true cleanliness. Room smelt of smoke although I asked for a non-smoking room. Next to a strip club which isn’t necessarily the hotel’s fault but it made it somewhat awkward.

The location is is very good. It's 5 minutes walk from the subway, just 2 stops away from the "city center", and the neighbourhood is quite nice. We had a car, so it was a plus having a parking spot, but it's very easy to reach it from the airport by subway. The breakfast was also very good. The room is normal size, and it seems clean. The hotel is a very good value for the money, or at least if would be, if... ...If we hadn't seen any bugs, but we met a big one in our bathroom. I don't know what kind of bug was it, but it was a big one (my girlfriend was creaming, but she always does if she sees something like this :) ). In our room we only met one (I killed it), but I saw another one on the stairs (it was killed already), so our bug was not the only one. I know this is not the Hilton (It's next to it :) ), but I didn't expect this from a BestWestern hotel.

It was very convenient as it was near to the metro and had taxis nearby as well as other amenities. Very small shower and boring breakfast.

Location is reasonably good: close to metro and bus that go to the airport. In walking distance to the Sintagma square (20 minutes). Orientation is easy since the hotel is located across the street of the giant building of Hilton hotel. Self service breakfast was all-right, besides continental it included also eggs, bacon and sausages. Bathroom seemed new (renovated). Air condition worked but was old-fashioned and noisy. Wi-fi only in the lobby. The instructions in the room tell that you could plug your computer in the "ADSL" plug in the room wall (there actually was such plug) to connect to the internet. But having no cable I did not test it.

Very nice hotel - clean, spacious room and very friendly and helpful staff. 5 minute walk to the metro which is excellent, and we felt very safe walking back at night. Not much really - the breakfast could have been better, but it was ok

Hotel was convenient to access bus routes and trains. We had stayed overnight intending to visit places the next day, unfortunately there was a taxi strike and we were more concerned in getting a bus to the airport to continue our journey.

I liked the good will of the staff and the free wifi in the lobby We payed for a 4 star hotel, but I think this hotel was far from it. I've been more comfortable in other 3 star hotels.

The hotel is in a good location close to the center with 5 min walking by the nearest metro station. The staff in general wasn't that bad, with some exceptions of indifference behavior The room had cocoraches. They were visible not only in our bathroom, but in the corridor of the room, where there is a carpet.
