Locations and cleaningness
Old type rooms and not comfortable beds also TV services was poor. Breakfast not very rich.
Excellent quality of wifi, good breakfast. Perfect access to public transportation: several buses lines and metro to/from the airport.
Old, rooms need renovation. cigarettes small on entire floor. Smelly bathroom.
stuff high speed wifi good location
very weak and usual breakfast everyday.
Clean room, good location
Overpriced, amenities not adequate for a 4star hotel
enjoyed my stay with bunch of friends at best western - comfy bed - breakfast in bed - good wifi - wood floor - starbucks/goody's within a minute walk
extremely small bathroom - cleaning service is only before 3 pm - not the best view
I needed a quick hotel for a day while the Hilton was booked next door. Check-in was quick and the price was comparably good
Room was outdated, small, and poorly laid out (I had a corner unit). The staff was rude. I checked in to a non-smoking room, but found an ashtray and the smell of smoke in the room. When I notified the hotel, they didn't apologize and they said they didn't have any other rooms with a double bed, and didn't offer to put any together. The overall lighting in the hotel was depressing. Usually not something I notice, but it felt like I was in a jail with dusty yellow lighting throughout.
1. The location - near to metro and Syntagma. 2. The staff were helpful with directions and providing services. 3. The room was warm and comfortable, with essentials provided. 4. The price was good.
The bath was rather small.
Close to a subway station.
Renovation needed. The breakfast is not what I was expecting.
The room had a strange odor. There are no electrick sockets next to the bed
convenient location excellent restaurants nearby
some (expected) traffic noise
The location and the friendliness of the staff
Staff was very helpful. The front desk even asked the kitchen to bring us fresh baked rolls when we left at 545 am on our last day. (breakfast wasn't until 7 am) Very helpful overall. A well run hotel.
Air Conditioning - not easy to get the room cool. Could use more plugs / extensions in the room for charging devices / and near bathroom.
dirty dishes on the breakfast bad smell in the room bad sound insulation
Old fashiosioned design, noise from a nearby shop
The location is excellent.
First, the room had clearly been cleaned, but it wasn't very clean; some prior occupant's personal hairs (multiple) were pretty obvious on the blankets. Second, the sheets had holes in them. Third, the walls were really thin, so when the folks in the next room started rattling around at 5:30, I definitely woke up. And fourth, the breakfast was on the not very good side; the oj was pretty watery.
Pleasant hotel. Friendly staff. Very comfortable bed. Next door to a Starbucks.
Sandwiched between 2 busy roads. Could be noisy.
Location is good: behind the Hilton, 10 mins walk to metro and thus access to central monuments and museums; residential neighbourhood, so quiet in evenings; restaurants and cafés close by.
Old, tired decor and beds; green light throughout due to old-style Eco light bulbs; dire, uninspired breakfast in sad, fluorescent-lit room.
the staff was very serviceable.
poor breakfast. no vegetables. old furniture max 3* hotel
At 100 Euro/night with breakfast included, this was an exceptional value for the location. Room was clean and adequately-sized, and included a small refrigerator. Accessibility good for mobility-challenged.
Soaps and shampoos via liquid dispenser, A/C runs only when key in the in-room slot, and occasionally conveyed cigarette smoke into room. Breakfast was nothing special.
The concierge were warm, friendly and very helpful. Ordered us a taxi for early morning, gave good advice. We found a fabulous restaurant just round the corner to the right, that was a perfect place to unwind and arrive in Greece, with a delicious evening meal. The room had a great corner balcony and very comfortable bed. Clean bathroom with good facilities.
There was some alarm that has been stuck for months, (the concierge said) making a loud clicking noise. You could not hear it with the windows closed and air con on. However, it was a balmy evening with a nice breeze, and we would have preferred no air con and the windows wide open to sleep.
The location of the Hotel is ideal for sightseeing
The luck of room-service but luckily there's a Starbucks right nextdoor
We booked this hotel last minutes after finding out our booking back home (Athen Style) was not even a real hotel but a hostel charging a exorbitant price, with no bed sheet and dirty towels. We selected Best Western as a trusted value. It was a good decision. The hotel is a bit old but staff were all extremely helpful.
A bit way off the main attractions, like all business hotels in Athens.
A good, basic, reasonably priced hotel
Food was barely adequate
Value for money, old structure
