Best Western Paradise Hotel  

Location, pool area, views were excellent.

Breakfast was a bit short of variety - E.G. no fresh fruit, batch bread only, no olives, orange juice was from a can or packet, not fresh oranges. And no outdoor or air conditioned eating area. Also we had to pay 25 Euros each way for the Hotel mininbus to the airport - not sure whether this was the norm for the Island - certainly elsewhere in the world our experience is that hotel minibuses are complimentary. And local motorbikes and children were extremely noisy, but that was not under the comtrol of the hotel.

Good quiet out of the way location, nearby bus service to Thira and the beach, but car rental is an asset. Lovely pool and garden. Very clean, daily maid service. Breakfast was fair, nothing fancy but enough to start the day while eating it on the terrace and watching village life go by. Staff were outstanding, warm and made the stay very enjoyable.

Friendly staff. Excellent pool area. Very clean. A lovely quiet area where you can get a two course meal with drinks in local tavernas for around 20 to 30 eruo. Bus service to different parts of the island was excellent. Didn't eat at the hotel apart from breakfast which was very basic but the same everywhere. The hotel could do with advertising their food availability more.

Lack of storage space - room had wardrobe with only 2 very small drawers. Shower was hand held and not fixed to the wall.

Friendly, helpful, hard working staff. Fabulous swimming pool. Quiet location. Reasonable price. Great family room/apartment with enough space for family of 4, ages 10 and 13 Shop 30m along road for drinks, snacks etc Akrotiri has relaxed feel

Wifi did not work in the room No cold milk at breakfast (only a big deal for a fussy 10 yr old boy!)

El hotel está muy bien ubicado para visitar la isla y las habitaciones y servicios comunes están bastante bien y limpios.

El desayuno es escaso en variedad. La atención del personal es correcta pero nada más. A nuestra llegada nos recogieron en el puerto y teníamos que ir a recoger el coche al aeropuerto y no nos facilitaron muchas opciones ni facilidades. Tuvimos que coger un bus a Fira y de allí otro al aeropuerto. Perdimos mucho tiempo cuando con una llamada de teléfono a la empresa de alquiler lo hubiésemos solucionado pero nuestro desconocimiento de las costumbres y la poca colaboración por el personal del hotel provocaron el paseo innecesario. Quizás la razón era porque ellos te quieren alquilar el coche en el hotel....no lo se.

Le ménage fait à la va vite, voir peut être pas fait Notre chambre pour 7 personnes avec une seule salle de bain et toilettes pour tous, cela ne correspond pas à mon sens à cette catégorie d'hotel et au prix L'accès aux trois lits en mezzanine très raide, Le petit déjeuner pas à la hauteur, jus de fruit chimique, nous nous attendions à mieux!

L'hotel è in posizione tranquilla, vicino alle spiagge più belle dell'isola e dotato di una bella piscina.

La camera nella quale ho soggiornato ha bisogno di essere rinnovata, in particolare il bagno (la doccia è scomodissima). Il phon non era funzionante, una lampada mancante e un giorno la camera non è stata pulita. Proprietari poco cortesi.

Non mi è piaciuto assolutamente nulla, a partire dall'accoglienza quando ci hanno mostrato la loro prenotazione - ricevuta da Booking - completamente diversa da quella a nostre mani. Praticamente la camera da noi prenotata non esisteva e le fotografie riportate sia su Booking che sul loro sito ufficiale, ritraevano camere di pura fantasia.

La prenotazione prevedeva camera con area salotto, vista mare e wifi in camera. Il risultato - dopo un sonoro litigio plurilingue - è stato di ottenere una cameretta striminzita con due lettini per adolescenti, vista mare col binocolo xchè era a piano terra e wifi tanto potente da non riuscire a leggere una mail. Senza parlare dei serramenti che sbattevano tutta notte e del condizionatore modello anteguerra con rumore assordante. La colazione comprendeva marmellate con muffa, caffè all'1% per litro d'acqua, e la solita torta stantia. Però la lauta colazione offerta dall'hotel potevi farla all'esterno, perchè dentro il condizionatore al mattino non lo accendevano nonostante il gran caldo, e sempre che il capo avesse tolto le catene alle sedie della terrazza.

Avis partagé sur cet hôtel : accueil en bonne et due forme, endroit très bien tenu, piscine vraiment très agréable et joliment paysagée, chambres type bungalow simples et agreables mais petit déjeuner entierement hard discount et serviettes archi archi rêches : une course aux économies qui empiètent significativement sur le confort. C'est vraiment dommage car sans cela tout serait quasiment parfait. Petits restos et épicerie juste de l'autre côté de la rue, très pratique.

Le petit déjeuner hard discount. Nous n'avions encore jamais vu cela a un tel point.. C'est assez étonnant d'autant plus pour un Best Western. Le bon côté c'est qu'on ne risque pas de grossir : tout a mauvais goût. Les serviettes de bain super rêches, c'est insensé d'oser encore les proposer aux clients.

nous avons appréciés la situation de l’hôtel , a l'écart des grandes zones touristiques sans être perdus , pour visiter l’île nous avons louer un scooter super ( pour la location demandez a l'hôtel nous avons négociés le prix) ou soit nous avons pris le bus dans le secteur vous trouverez de bonnes tavernes sur les vers plages tout près de l'hôtel dans l’ensemble notre séjour fut très agréable

un bémol la salle de bain est petite et aussi demandez une chambre "vu sur la mer ou de la piscine" pour le clame car pas prés de la rue attention aux bruits de la circulation dans le centre du village

Ottimo albergo, lontano dal centro (scelto appositamente) per cui è necessario mezzo autonomo di trasporto. Parcheggio gratuito. Tranquillità e calma totali. In prossimità delle spiagge Rossa, Bianca e di altre meno famose ma altrettanto belle.

La tendina della doccia : Mettete un box doccia !!! L'acqua della piscina non è poprio limpidissima.

Хороший чистый глубокий бассейн. умеренно плотные завтраки - йогурт с медом, приятный омлет, кофе, помидорки, яйца.. но не более того. Номера светлые, но полноценно убираются не каждый день. удобная парковка.

Довольно скудный завтрак, но особо отмечу, что раз в 2-3 дня происходят форс-мажорные события, будто по расписанию - то йогурта нет, то томатов, но это похоже на мелочи жизни )) Хозяева - деловые, но вполне добро расположенные люди, похоже. что бизнес - семейный. До любой достопримечательности, включая пляж, довольно далеко. нужен транспорт. Хотя без него на острове везде тяжело.

Séjour parfait. Accueil & service très appréciable. Environnement idylique...entretien des parties communes et de la piscine....proximité des plages & des restaurants... Bref, Nous le conseillons vivement.

εξαιρετικός ο χώρος της πισίνας. βολικότατες οι θέσεις στάθμευσης. ευγενέστατο και διακριτικό το προσωπικό.

ελαφρώς μονοδιάστατο το πρωινό. δεν έλειπε κάτι συγκεκριμένο, μια μεγαλύτερη ποικιλία ίσως να ήταν αναγκαία.

El desayunado deja mucho que desear, el trato del personal es bastante antipático. La ubicación no es buena ya que Akrotiri está en el extremo sur de la isla. Las toallas se cambian cada 5 días y se limitan a cambiar las sábanas pero no hacen las camas. No volveré si puedo evitarlo.

Le jardin, la piscine,le parking.

Nous avions réservé un appartement supérieur avec cuisine pour 7 adultes (nous sommes 5) ceci pour avoir de la place, le descriptif précisait "un appartement très spacieux avec balcon donnant sur le jardin et composé de deux chambres". Surprise ! nous avons eu un studio de 4 couchages + un lit d'appoint. Trois couchages dans le salon et un lit double en mezzanine (bas de plafond je ne tenais pas debout !) de plus pas de possibilité de faire a manger la "cuisine" est ridiculement petite et n'a pas de plaque de cuisson Réclamation faite, malheureusement l'appartement pour 7 n'était pas disponible avant 3 jours et fortement déconseillé car au bord de la route ! Ajoutez à cela un petit déjeuner d'une qualité désastreuse : le lait semble dilué à l'eau, (tout comme le yaourt), le jus d'orange reconstitué est imbuvable, le café insipide... Le client à vraiment l'impression d'être une vache à traire ! Gagner de l'argent avec une structure hôtelière oui ! Mais certainement pas au prix d'un tel massacre de la qualité. Nous sommes passé dans deux autres hôtels en Grèce cette année (Athènes+Paros), c'était résolument d'une autre qualité, et ce pour des prix équivalents voire inférieurs.

Bathrooms could be updated. Breakfast was a bit disappointing

+: ligging zeer gunstig als uitvalbasis voor uitstappen, aangezien het eiland niet echt groot is. Het hotel ligt weg van de grote 'toeristenstroom'. Toch in de buurt voldoede eetmogelijkheden en een winkeltje en autoverhuur. Het huren van een quad (150 cc ipv 50 cc!) is een echte aanrader. Wel onderhandelen! De hotelgebouwen en het zwembad zijn heel mooi onderhouden en net. Het personeel doet zeker hun best om je verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Houd rekening met de Griekse mentaliteit, dus blijven vragen als er iets niet in orde is. Elke dag propere handdoeken, de kamers worden goed onderhouden. Handdoeken aan het zwembad te verkrijgen, maar je moet er wel achter vragen.

-: de standaardkamers zijn heel klein, zeker als je er langer dan een week verblijft. Aanrader is dan ook een superieur kamer (deze hebben geen balkon of zeezicht). De airco werkte heel slecht. Na veel over en weer geloop niet echt hierbij tot een oplossing gekomen. De koelkast in de standaardkamer werkte niet, in de superieur kamer wel. Het ontbijt is heel karig en triestig, zeker voor een Best Western!! Eieren niet warm, brood en confituur smakeloos, fruitsap een waterig drankje. Dit kan echt veel beter!!!!!! De 'bazin' van het hotel is jammer genoeg niet zo erg vriendelijk.

Not so clean rooms and not the same room with that it shows the pictures at booking.com.The staff at reception didnt tried to help but behave us like wallet.
