Good value for money cost. You can make by yourself fresh orange juice for breakfast.
A lot of teenagers with different subculture hanging around. Sour orange juice on breakfast.
no so fast
The staff is helpful
The hotel is very comfortable and clean with friendly and helpful staff.
The area around the hotel isn't pleasant.
The hotel is in the center. You have easy access to all local transport and there are beautiful small shop and restaurants in walking distance from the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. They cleaned the room, changed bedding and towels every day. Even though we were in the center, the rooms were quiet. I think this is because the roads around the hotel are relatively small about 100 m from the highway. Athens was much cheaper than I remembered. And the quality of food, drinks and snacks is perfect.
The breakfast was nice and plentiful but always the same.
Quality/price. Easy to get to all interesting sites and airport because of public transport. Since no typical tourist area some non touristic restaurants nearby.
The area is not exactly a tourist area, but it is a students' quarter, full of graffiti, but also pubs. We happened there during a big demonstration, seemed a little bit dangerous, but acutally I think it seems more than it is.
all was amazing
Εverything excellent !!
The staff at this hotel was phenomenal. The food was good. Our room and the rest of the hotel was clean. The hotel is a 30 minute walk from the Acropolis. We walked down there almost ever day with an 18 month old.
The beds were too firm.
Best Western is the name which guarantee the quality of service and ambience. There is not a lot of thinking when you want to make the right decision, it is always a good choice
The area of the hotel is in very dark, scary and unpleasant and dangerous quart, besides violent demonstrations that we had the misfortune to befall although it is very close to the city
Staff was very, very helpful and kind. We had a separate bed for our 1 year old child. Breakfast is great, ro8ms very clean...
Very helpful staff at the reception
Breakfast time could be until 11.00 A.M. instead of 10.00 A.M. Greek time (it means 10.00 A.M. instead of 9.00 A.M. for most of the European countries), especially during weekends
authentic greek breakfast - helpfull staff- convinient location close to bars and restaurants of Exarchia
A couple of the people at the front desk were friendly(ish).
The bed was very uncomfortable and the sheets on my side of the bed seemed like they had been slept on already by a previous guest. The wireless internet was really poor, working at about 10%. The location was okay - easy to find - but about 25 blocks from the center.
I have no words to express how wonderful the staff is at this hotel; they went out of their way to make us feel at home, this includes not only the staff at reception but also in the dining room.
I found the hotel very outdated, the room decor and the bathroom were very old and took some time getting used to. It is such a shame that such things affect the rating of a hotel as the staff are doing their absolute best...
Quality at a excellent price.
The experience from check-in till check-out was nothing but perfect. I was greeted with a glass of fresh orange juice, led to the elevator and shown all the facilities. The personel was able to answer all the questions properly and politely. Wi-Fi connection in my room operated without any problem. The breakfast was also superb, it was possible to choose something both from traditional greek cuisine and european-american mixed cuisine. The location of the hotel should be also mentioned, which is very convenient, as it is in the middle between two metro stations, and not by the street which is very busy and quite dirty.
Staff was friendly
Location Hotel was very old
Staff made our visit great. Provided us with good support. Bfast totally adequate. We had upper floor corner room very quiet. Its a shame that the location of property makes walking at night off putting. Hotel is 3 star and tired, however when price is a determining factor you can live with that as long as it is clean. Wifi terrible. Creepy area around hotel. Would never recommend for single woman traveller.
Excellent staff offered us a fresh orange juice very after the check in. We stayed in a triple room good sized. Desk, chairs, big screen tv, balcony, minibar. Big and comfortable bathroom with bath tube and good choise of soaps. No noise and excellent cleaning service. Breakfast was good. Definitively we'll come back! Good location: just 5 minutes on foot from Omonia station.
We arrived to find that some parts of Athens were closed by police cordon due to protests. Hotel staff were very calm about the situation and assured us we would be safe if we headed to the old town, near the Acropolis, which was true. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they were very reassuring. Room had a huge balcony with a view of the acropolis, lit up at night. The hotel was great value and provided an great breakfast buffet too.
Bathroom was a little small... but fairly standard for city centre hotels I suppose.
wifi not working Ac allso no working tv is good but all greek chanel no english movies chanels
Front desk staff was excellent! Always very helpful.
I wish it would have been closer to the metro. The kids saw several things along our walks that were quite disturbing.
Friendly, good value and clean.
WiFi could be better.
Our family traveled to Athens for the 2014 Marathon in November and stayed here, (Best Western, Museum). The staff was AMAZING! very courteous, friendly and professional. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast provided was much more than "continental" and offered a variety of items. The location was directly across from the Archeological Museum a two minute walk from many good restaurants, including Rosalita (a must try) The Metro (Omonia stop)is a six minute walk from the hotel and two stops to the center. In closing, the Best Western Museum exceed all of my expectations. Highly recommended
The only minor (not negative) detail was the speed of the internet connection. (again, minor detail, but worth mentioning)
