The bedroom decor is perfectly adequate but just a little dull

The staff very helpful and friendly. Good breakfast included and available until 10am. great location for new and old town as well as beach. Nice pool area with bar and snacks

Would have liked Tea making facilities in room, staff were happy to bring hot water for Tea on request but we didn't like to bother them

Location is very good. Hotel is located in the Citycenter. You can reach to manythings you need by walking. Reception staff are helpful. Price/Quality balance good. Recomendable hotel.

There was moswuito problem in the room. Do not leave the balkony door open during whole night. You can not sleep.

The location is good for rhodes old and new town the sun beds by the pool and the pool bar make an easy stay all the staff were friendly cheerfull and professional through out the hotel the room cleaners did an excellent job

No kettle in the room 2. £ 2.50 for a coffe! far to exspensive 3. the bath is too small child size 4.no information in the hotel about tourist attractions, beaches or local public transport, 5.the storage room for luggage was not kept locked our belongings could have been at risk of theft by anyone or taken by mistake when i collected our bag's no one was in reception so i removed our cases and left for the taxi

Great pool area, all the facilities of a large hotel, good sized rooms, good bathroom and balcony.

Worn furnishings and carpets. Musty smell which soon cleared when balcony doors were opened

The room had proper double bed & carpet. May not sound much but Feb in Rhodes thats a plus. Had a good bar/cafe at surprisingly reasonable prices. All the staff we dealt with were friendly, helpful & efficient.

Rooms a bit tired. If I had paid the "normal" price I would have been disappointed at what you got for the money. Room had a bath, much to my wifes delight but no working plug, had to call maintenance when we couldn't get it back out. No plug after that.....

The hotel is right downtown

In my opinion this is not a 4 Star, but maybe a 2 Star hotel, the hotel is quite run down, the reception desk is not very good, the rooms are small and very basic and aged,the bathroom is small and uncomfortable, the breakfast very basic and the coffee is really bad. By all your valued and normally trusted and correct standards in so many countries the rating of 8.0 for this hotel is way too high

without doubt the only place to stay in rhodes town,value for money and the best staff,very friendly&genuine...we have stayed 4 times this year...clean rooms,great breakfast........ect ect... the winter stay was very nice too...thanks guys see you later in the year.

It can be difficult when you are two mature women travelling, but we were made to feel very welcome. The Staff are very friendly and very helpful. We wanted a winter break combined with Christmas Shopping and sightseeing. The Hotel arranged a car hire for us and nothing was too much trouble. Leftheris who works in the Bar is an excellent "Mine Host".

The staff were really helpful and friendly and the hotel was in a great central location. We got an excellent deal on the room for 4 nights.

Great location in Rodos for access to the old town. In the offseason when we visited the price was very competitive and good value.

İt was excellent hotel with the location, price and services. We've spent very good time. İt was a good choice. We will return to the Hotel La Plaza for our next trip to Rhodes. Also, will reccomend this hotel to my friends who will travel to Rhodes.

Very nice facility with pool/spa, good size room with american-type enclosed bath/shower, within walking distance of Old City, good "restaurant-row" one way and the other way another good restaurant/shopping row and good beach. Didn't need a car once there; just took one well-priced day trip to gorgeous ruins that had really nice grotto swimming beach at bottom.

Hotel is a LONG way from ferry port. Cost us 25 euro taxi ride each way. I would suggest you research more reasonable bus routes before committing - but I could not find them and the hotel was not helpful along this line.

No coffee makers in the rooms.

The front desk staff at the hotel was exceptional! They were very helpful and extremely accommodating during our stay. When we had to extend our stay one additional night they offered to move our bags for us while we were out for the day, but ended up finding a way for us to stay in the same room. The room was comfortable and had a nice balcony. Breakfast was great with a very large selection and omelets made to order. The pool area was nice and received a good bit of sun despite being in an enclosed area partially surrounded by other buildings.

The front desk staff was warm and helpful, but the same cannot be said for some of the bar and restaurant staff. While some were great, while others were absolutely terrible. For some reason, even though this is a four star hotel, getting a couple glasses of ice cubes (to make a drink in our room) from the bar downstairs proved to be a rather discouraging experience. On one occasion the bartender told my wife that he didn't have much ice left, but he would give her some anyway. Are we not paying guests of the hotel? Is it expensive or difficult to make ice in Rhodes? On our last morning at the hotel we went to breakfast and brought a bottle of water with us. As I sat down with my food I was approached by someone who said he was the restaurant manager and wanted to let me know that my bottle of water was not allowed in the restaurant. I asked him what he wanted me to do with it and he just kept telling me that it wasn't allowed. After somewhat of a heated exchange, and even though, in his words, the hotel could supposedly be fined 1500 Euros if "the government" saw my water bottle, he relented and allowed me to keep it on the table. The chefs at the omelet station also seemed completely uninterested in serving customers. It seemed as though we were violating some sacred rule by asking them to make an omelet for us.
