We had a great time at blue bay, it was a very relaxing stay that exceeded our expectations in many ways given that we were a little skeptical given some bad forum threads.. I really enjoyed the location as it had a very warm and relaxing setting.. If you are a family like us who wants to get away from the city hustle and bustle and enjoy some quality time then I really recommend this place.. I found the mononaftis beach better than the main one.. Little far from Heraklion which is a must see and experience, I have never encountered such an energy in Melbourne or Sydney.. Buses go past the hotel in the morning and return in the afternoon so not too much of a problem..

Μας άρεσε η θέα προς το λιμανάκι. Η ανατολή του ήλιου μέσα από τη θάλασσα ήταν εντυπωσιακή.Το δωμάτιο αρκετά μεγάλο και άνετο.Ξεχώρισε με την ευγένεια και την πρόθυμη εξυπηρέτησή της, η υπάλληλος της ρεσεψιον Ματθαιάκη Μαρία. Οι κουρτίνες δεν προσέφεραν τις πρωινές ώρες την κάλυψη που έπρεπε, με αποτέλεσμα να ξυπνάμε από τα χαράματα.Δεν μας δόθηκε διπλο κρεβάτι όπως είχαμε τονίσει ότι θέλαμε, όταν κλείσαμε το δωμάτιο μήνες πριν.Το προσωπικό στην ρεσεψιόν δεν ήξερε αν θα μπορούσαμε να πάρουμε πρωινό στο δωμάτιο. Όταν ανακάλυψαν ότι γίνεται, μας χρέωσαν 5 ευρώ το άτομο επιπλέον, ενώ στην τιμή του δωματίου ήταν και το πρωινό. Που σημειωτέων ήταν πολύ φτωχό και με βασικές ελλείψεις.
