Score from 112 reviews Very good
The location is brilliant, close to centre and bus station, with local convenience store almost on the doorstep.
The bright and sunny position of the villas with a view from my balcony to the hills. It was so close to the hub and had a very relaxed feeling when returning to the villa after a day out. The cobbled hill was a challenge every day, but so was Santorini. This was a magic holiday for me.
The tiny shower base which splashed the water all over the bathroom.
Close to main centre, and daily housekeeping
Reception was unmanned on arrival and waited for 45 mins to check in. A telephone number was stuck to window to call, but no-one answered. Reception rocked up at 3pm.
sal and his wife pool dog all staff
The worst hotel I have ever been.Totsl absence of breakfast, dirty room bed sheets make you ich, very bad personnel.I Wonder how booking.com cooperates with such hotels.
Location is fantastic
People arrive late from parties and have no respect for others who are sleeping. Staff should put some notice for such people. Doors are extremely noisy. One of the staff even shouted at us because we wanted to open the window at the reception, during breakfast. Not all of them are friendly.
Was very near to the center and good pool area
Dirty room!never changed sheets..every time i got in the room a disturbing bad smell got my antention due to the toilet hygiene..also i had to ask for paper toilet..and finally although the hotel claims that it offers breakfast actually it's very poor almost non provided.
We arrived in the middle of the night and they accommodated me with a nice room in the hotel next door. Location is really close to everything and they have a nice swimming pool.
We had to change room once during our 5 night stay but the room was actually more suitable for us (double bed instead of 2 singles). They did not answer any of my emails a few days before arrival so i was a little worried to arrive at 3 am but then there was a note on the door for me with details when we arrived. Breakfast was not great at all but for the price we paid for the room we cannot complain. Internet availabe in the lobby but not in our two rooms. Still it was a good bargain.
Very friendly staff. close to fira Centre clean hotel
we were transfered to the hotel next to blue sky villa which was under the same management or something like that.we stayed in room 18 which was a semi basement room that had no Windows. We were offered to go to another room the next day but we were too busy touring.
Customer service Had to stay in another hotel Breakfast not worth getting up for! Booked and paid for 2 rooms , however first day had only one room , felt we was robbed !
This hotel had everything we needed bit nothing that we didn't need. Breakfast is simple but ok. Price of the hotel was really low so we got exactly what we expected. Location perfect, nice pool, good view of the ocean. We enjoyed our stay.
I think this hotel has some pretty unfair reviews regarding staff, breakfast, rooms ecc. You et what you pay for and it is a nice place. The staff was really friendly and helpful when we were there. The only negative thing was that it was impossible to get in touch with the hotel before our stay. We needed to report late arrival at 3 in the morning and tried to email and call them many times. No answer to emails, they hung up the phone and even booking.com had problems getting in touch with the hotel. In the end it all worked out and we got a nice room :)
Wifi was strong outside the reception.
Wifi couldn't connect in room.
The breakfast was poor. There is only bread, coffee, orange juice, butter, honey and jam. Furthermore, we woke up one day to take a breakfast. It was 9:50 am and the breakfast was closing at 10:00 am. But there was nothing to eat and and a woman standing there saw us trying to get some food but totally ignored us. One thing we did not like was also the fact that they asked us to leave the hotel while we only had one more night to stay at the hotel. Last but not least we were supposed to have three triple rooms with balcony and a pool view but instead of that we stayed in three rooms and only one of them was triple. The other two were double rooms with a camped in. Our rooms had no balcony and the view was the wall.
The facilities were adequate, the wifi was excellent.
The staff, the fact that we booked the hotel for 5 nights and only spent 3 at blue sky purely because they purposely over booked and were unable to give us a room until we complained at least 5 times. The staff were basically useless and claimed to own multiple hotels which they did not. The hotels they put us in were of less quality than the hotel we booked for. The staff actually wasted 2 days of our trip by stressing us out and moving from hotel to hotel which is unacceptable. The staff were also never at the desk. We specifically told the staff we were arriving between 8-9pm and no one came until 9.30pm when we arrived at 8pm. Once we finally got a room it was not the room they let me book. I booked a room with a balcony and we were thrown on the bottom level because they obviously double book every room. The buffet breakfast was a disgrace unless you love only eating bread for breakfast and having off juice. I am gluten intolerant so I couldn't eat the breakfast. The hotel walls were extremely thin and we could hear everything everyone was doing. As well as everyone above us eating their bread breakfast as we were shoved in a room right below the dining area. I really wish that booking.com would take off blue sky villa so that future travellers don't have to go through the troubles we had when they should be enjoying their holiday.
The location is good, the place is clean and the price is more competitive.
The staff is not always at the counter. It's quite difficult to find them if you have a problem for the room.
The pool and pool area were one of the best I saw in the area Rooms were clean and kept tidy by the friendly staff
The hotel was at the bottom of the hill leaving a stiff walk uphill to all bars and restaurants Couldn't arrange a transfer back to the airport Breakfast was not very good
Location and pool.
They had over booked the hotel and we had to sleep the first night in their other hotel. Thr girl in reception was under too much pressure because of the behauvor of her boss.
It was just within walking distance to the town center of Fira and to the bus station where one can get transportation to other parts of Santorini.
Comfortable & quiet and very handy to central Fira. Pick-up and drop-off at airport a real plus
The hotel staff was nice except the cleaning lady who harassed us especially the last day. She woke us up on sunday morning at 8am by washing our windows with a garden hose. After that she came in and wanted to clean the room. We said that we're leaving today so cleaning now wouldn't make any sense since we're giving it away at 12. She didn't understand english at all and came back after an hour. Now she wanted to clean the windows from the inside. However I just got out of shower and was only wearing a towel and my friend was about to take a shower. The cleaner didn't think this was a problem and opened the door and the windows while there was a group of people standing outside and me and my friend were almost naked. Also the hotel receptionist called us at 11 to make sure we are definitely leaving before 12 even though we had talked about this the day before. All this didn't make me and my friend feel very welcome. As if thet didn't care about us at all now that we were leaving back home and had paid the hotel bill.
Good wifi. Nice pool.
I had booked 6 nights stay at Blue Sky Villa about 3 months ahead of my arrival. The day I arrived, I was told that I would be staying at the neighbouring, but equally good, hotel. I was a little miffed but flexible. I walked into my room at the neighbouring hotel only to be astonished and disgusted. The room was not what I was expecting at all. The beds were lumpy and uncomfortable, a clutter of random plastic chairs sat in one corner. There was a small fridge whose door wouldn't close and therefore stank. The bathroom had one tiny light above the mirror and none in the showering area. The shower had no curtain. Being a solo traveler on a budget I would have been happy to stay in this place if the price had been reduced a significant amount but I was expected to stay here for the same price I had paid for the Blue Sky Villa. After heading to reception and asking for assistance, I was pushed to the reception of Blue Sky Villa as my problem with my hotel room "was not the problem" of my current hotel. Fortunately for me the receptionist at Blue Sky was very helpful. She told me that I could move to either a nicer room in the other hotel, or stay in my current room for one night and then be moved to Blue Sky Villa. The reasons behind this was that there was a wedding booked at Blue Sky. This annoyed me the most. If there were no rooms available at Blue Sky I would have been happy to stay somewhere else. Instead they booked me a room and moved me to their neighbouring hotel without informing me. Very disappointed.
Nice location close to the center and services. Nice staff. Good and clean room. Good wifi, pool available.
Very basic breakfast.
I make reservation couple months earlier and choose option no refund no change reservation I paid half price.
1.Our booking room be sold,so we be sent to another. 2.wifi connection weak. 3.TV broken, and don't help us to fix.
