Friendly staff ,good value and good access to athens

Buffet breakfast was generous

The room and twin beds were extremely small.

Tucked away in a quiet corner of Glyfada but within an hour of central Athens by tram and 30 minutes from airport by express bus. Three + star service for two star prices. Clean and attractive if somewhat basic with good buffet breakfast and 24 hour services. Provided full breakfast facility for us at 6 A.M. prior to our airport departure! I have stayed here several times and never been let down. Much better than many central Athens hotels costing twice the price. Good beaches, restaurants, shopping and night life close by. Tree-lined streets provide a much more pleasant spot than noisy, dirty central Athens. Recommend this without reservation for the budget conscious traveller.

A nice hotel, clean and in a very peaceful location

I liked blue sky because it was cheaper than most hotels that I stayed in Greece&also cleaner/nicer/roomier too!

There was the usual general transport strike in Greece so I had trouble getting from the hotel to the airport to get out of the country. The staff were extremeley helpful in finding out the time of the last airport bus (3am) before the strike started for the day. They also ensured I was awake on time (2:30am) to catch that bus and that I had some coffee before leaving. Excellent and sympathetic service. Room was modern and well appointed. Pity I could only stay there 6 hours! Please note that to get to the hotel you must get off at two stops after Glifada centre otherwise it is a long walk. There is a very good AB supermarket nearby but for restaurants you have to take the tram back into Glifada.

Mostar was friendly and competent. Arrangements for airport pickup worked well. Snack and beers on arrival were just right.

Our room was noisy. Loud voices late into the night didn't allow for much sleep.

The staff were very helpful and well informed to assist us with all our requests which were frequent due to the industrial action taking place. In particular Katerina and Costas were both an absolute delight - very professional and knowledgeable. Unbelievably Katerina is orgininally from the island we were heading for - Patmos. Patmos has a true ambassador in her as well as her family -Uncle Theo at Yvonnis Studios is not to be missed - attending to your every request is in this families' blood! For value for money the Blue Sky cannot be beaten elsewhere in Glyfada.

I loved the friendliness of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble, and they went out of their way to be helpful. I liked the location as it was very quiet at night. The air con, safe, fridge and wifi were all welcome additions. The buffet breakfast was very adequate with fresh fruit, breads, cereals, meats, cheese, hard boiled eggs, teas/coffees. For everything we received, the price we paid was extremely reasonable. We liked being 18Km away from Athens, and being able to travel into the city on the coastal tram was a delight. There are lots of restaurants within easy walking, as well as some very up market shops. Glyfada is a lovely place to stay.

Th stuff was friendly and helpful. We booked one triple room but were given a two-room suite with 2 double beds! That was nice. Breakfast was good enough and there was free wi-fi in the rooms.

There is no elevator in the hotel, but they are planning to have it next year.

This is a good budget hotel, which is located in a nice quiet place near the sea. The personal is friendly. There is a tram stop close to the hotel, so there is no problem to visit Athens for sightseeing.

Clean rooms with balconies. Very kind, helpful staff, we stayed here because not far with a car (30mins or 18.6 km) from the airport. We had to get up at 4am to make it to the airport and the staff put out breakfast for us even though it usually doesn't start until 7:30am! Even though we were not swimming, we noticed hotel is a short walk from the beach.

Rooms are a bit small, however they are comfortable.
