Very friendly staff, great location for exploring the area as well as for transport to Athens. Rooms are cozy and clean. Overall it is a gteat value for money.
Matress was a little hard, the breakfast is ok for what it is. Not much else to complain about.
Everything was fine with the hotel itself.
Hard to find bus stop from airport. You really need to take a cab (reasonable price) to hotel. Too far to walk and find.
The staff were friendly and helpful and this very much budget hotel is in the residential area of Glyfada well away from the thundering 4 lane highway where most other hotels are.
The rooms are really small, the bathroom clearly and after thought squeezed into an old cupboard. The "double" bed the smallest we have ever slept on. The walls are paper thin but it is only 50 euros. It is a fair hike to the expensive town centre as well. Glyfada is where the rich Greeks and there are still plenty of them go for coffee and snacks. It is not a tourist place and the idea that this is one of the best hotels there sums the area up .
Close to an airport /bus/. The bed is comfortable, good for sleeping.
The room was dirty. Bathroom is awful.
The location was ideal, close to the sea, free parking on the road, room was generally clean, reception staff was really helpful, hence the good rating. Free WiFi in the rooms and good common areas. Generally OK if you get a good deal, but at the time of the rating of the hotel, did not live up to the high expectations we had.
The soundproofing was awful. You could hear people from the other rooms talking on the phone. Even if we were on the 1st floor we could hear people downstairs from the reception area and literally the footsteps of people walking by in the corridor of our floor. The toilet was very small and the toilet seat was shoved between the shower and the wall in a weird angle, so there wasn't enough leg room to sit properly. The double bed was too small. The bathroom ceiling was peeling. The room was generally clean, but we stayed 3 nights and our sheets and towels were not changed.
Felt the staff were relaxed and this made me comfortable. Room was clean and calming. Had a balcony too.
It was clean, and on a quiet street. It was a couple of blocks from the tram and restaurants and shopping.
- clean - quiet - easy to access the airport.(15 min walk to bus stop Nirvana on the avenue Vouliagmenis, next to Sklavenitis supermarket + 30 minutes by bus line X97)
- far from city center. options to reach the city center: 1) 10 minutes walk to tram station(Kolymvitirio)+ 1 hour by tram(line T5) to Syntagma square. 2) 10 minutes walk to Vouliagmenis avenue. + take bus 171 to Metro Elliniko + take metro to Syntagma Square (line red) - this is the fastest way but bus line 171 doesn't operate after 23:20 In brief, you need at least one hour to reach Athens center. - I wanted to cancel last two days of my booking. They didn't accept to refund. - Shower is very small. No hanger near the shower. - no towel replacement unless you request
Clean, all facilities good, staff efficient and friendly
Location and absence of road diagrams so that one could find one's way back (especially after dark).
Nice breakfast and the possibility to eat breakfast outside. Friendly family who run the hotel. Not far from the glyfada beach and the Cheap coastal tram that takes you right to center of athens. In a relaxed area and a Nice getaway from hectic athens.
Convenient location and value for money
Location was on a quiet street but within walking distance of the busier cafe-lined streets and beaches. Check-in and check-out process was extremeley easy and quick, and the receptionist easily answered any questions I had.
The breakfast was lacking. Good orange juice but the food was just processed breads, meat and cheese.
The location in Glyfada is very good--just a few blocks from the tram to/from Athens and a couple more to the beach. Nice staff!
+ upscale, residential and quiet area + hotel offers all basic features you need + Good sleep quality
- 2-Star hotel; rather basic
Price, location, area, Hotel and the staff. The room was basic but great for the price plus the ac worked very well. Glyfada is great if you love shopping and watching the world go by in a bar. Its like the Greek version of Beverly Hills, loads and loads of shops and some reasonably priced restuarants too. It would appear the wealthier Athenians live in this area. It was a 30 minute drive from Athens airport, I made sure the taxi driver put the meter on. It was a bit difficult to find the Hotel in this quiet neighbourhood so make sure you have the Hotels telephone number so the taxi driver can talk to the Hotel. Taxi cost €30 - €35. Access into Athens was doable via the trams and trains.
Finding the Beach. The nearest one we could find was what seemed like a private beach but we had to ask a couple of helpful security people whether we were allowed in. However this did make us feel like our possesions were safe, the cost of the beds and umbrella were not much more than the average for Greece.
Stopped for one night before early flight next morning. Staff were helpful - ordered a takeaway for us after we had a long drive. Breakfast was better than expected and good value at five euro's
Bed could have been more comfortable (softer), nothing wrong with it as such though, just personal preference
The hotel is located in a quit residential area
The staff was unfriendly. There was nobody to help with the luggage even though we asked for; room was too small for 2 persons; shower was small and uncomfortable
Very kind stuff, good and accessible location for trips, leisure and fun.
I didn't found any negatives.
High standards always maintained. Stay here every year. Owners and staff can't do enough for you. Lovely people.
I like the area of this hotel very much. The room was ok for the price, it had balcony, television and air conditioner.
The bathroom was very small - especially the shower! Also it was problematic, because a part of the shower wall was like damaged. Because I have been in this hotel befor, I know, that they have better rooms with better bathrooms!
The hotel was in a quiet safe area- close to the eateries and the tram stop into Athens City was just at the end of the street - 5 minutes walk away. The staff were very helpful organising a taxi to the airport for us. The cost of the taxi €30 - well worth it. Would recommend to our friends.
The staff; the room; the breakfast; the air conditioning; the TV; the fridge; the garden
Great location for visiting Athens, free parking and wi-fi, very close to the tram number 5, which directly goes to Syntagma and Acropolis, a good breakfast in excellent surroundings, comfortable rooms with good bathroom. All this in the beautiful Glyfada at an affordable price.
Very good value for money. Very good wifi connection. Staff was very helpful.
