very friendly staff, beautiful location in old town, very clean , nice traditional rooms. we also tryed the spaggeti and some wines of their cellar and they were excellent!

I had a good reception. The staff were friendly and the hotel was near to the harbour and within the old town. The room was quite large and very clean and the bathroom had the rarity in Greece of a shower cubicle. I would consider this hotel a good option for a 2 night stay in Chania, if you could avoid the room I was given.

This particular area of Chania is full of very narrow lanes and can feel quite claustrophobic. On booking I had requested a double bed and a balcony, if possible. I was contacted by the hotel that there was only a twin room, but there was no mention of there not being a balcony. On arrival I found that my particular room was very dark and depressing with only 2 small windows, 1 hidden in a recess. I had to have the lights on at all times when I was in the room, whatever time of the day (in June!). Consequently I informed the owner that I could not stay more than one night in the room. She did offer me an alternative room from the following day, but I preferred to move elsewhere. If you intend using the hotel just to go back to at night to sleep it would be a good option, but not if there is potential that you would want to spend any time relaxing in your room. If the latter is more applicable to your stay it would be better to look to the west side of the old town which is just as pretty but the accommodation I looked at appears brighter.

Owner was wonderfully helpful. Even let us stay beyond check-out time so that we could better use our last day in Chania before leaving on an evening ferry back to Athens.

Arrivée à 15h; il fallait prévenir pour que quelqu'un soit présent pour vous ouvrir l'hôtel et on n'a vu personne de la journée; c'est quand même un peu curieux!Sinon l'hôtel est très calme, tout près d u centre et a un cachet certain
