The cleanliness quality and the breakfast was amazing! Perfect

Internet kept disconnecting and had to relogin. Fridge in room was much too warm.

The location is wonderful right on the harbor about 10 yards from the waters edge. The staff was very helpful and everything is new and top notch. Breakfasts were outstanding. The machine that squeezes oranges for fresh squeezed orange juice is really cool.

Everything was really good. Hotel was recently renovated. So all rooms and hole hotel was clean and in the good condition. Nice view. Great breakfast. Situation is also perfect.

Nothing wrong with the hotel at all but it took a long time to find it on the first day driving from the airport at night. One-way system in Chania is confusing. Make sure you have a good local map.

A great breakfast looking on a wonderful harbor, a comfortable bedroom, really nice stay in Porto Veneziano.

We had already stayed here for 3 nights and loved it so much that we returned for our last night before heading home!! Location, clean and tidy, staff helpful and welcoming, breakfast had a wide selection, free car parking at the back and free mini bar!!

Everything!! The location is perfect, central but quiet. The rooms are clean, the mini bar was free and our own balcony overlooking the harbor!! The breakfast was lovely with a wide selection, the staff were helpful and made us feel welcome. Car park is at the back of the building and is free. We loved it so much that we returned to stay our last night in Crete

Perfect location. Very close walk to where all the action is but far enough away to get a good night's sleep. Ask for a sea view room--it was amazing.

Porto Veneziano is the loveliest of hotels with the kindest, nicest staff and a fabulous buffet breakfast. Our room had a view of the harbor with gorgeous sunsets with our own little balcony. The room was small but very comfortable.

Hania is a bit touristy, but that can't be helped. It is very beautiful, and there were lots of fun things to do.

The reception staff is professional and willing to help.

Location was quiet and easy walking distance to the centre. The rooms were very high standard of cleanliness and modern. The bed was very comfortable. The staff very professional and helpful.

The Weather

Hotel rooms have been totally renovated to high modern standard since my last stay in October. Quiet harbor front location with quick access to old town. It doesn't get any better; I can't wait to go back again.

The location is one of the best in Haniá, with most rooms enjoying views right across the Venetian harbour, but away from the crowds of tourists frequenting the western edge of the harbour, and the taverna touts and accompanying noise. Staff were excellent - the receptionist was quite exceptionally helpful and pleasant. Superb buffet breakfast with a very wide choice of everything that could conceivably form part of a Continental Breakfast. The one drawback is that it's a fairly modern building, and so lacks the atmosphere and character of the old converted Venetian/Turkish hotels in the most picturesque corners of the old city. But it's very comfortable and well managed, and those views from the bedroom balconies......

The harbourside position which was slightly away from the noisy end! The very good and friendly restaurants close by. Everything within walking distance. The excellent breakfasts.

The exceptional staff made us feel spacial and at home at the same time. Room had a fantastic view of the harbor. There was a marvelous breakfast buffet with great variety and cappuccinos. We really appreciated the chance to eat breakfast outside on the waterfront watching local fishermen going to out to sea.

Location and balcony sea views were excellent. Close to very good restaurants that are used by the local people and serve traditional cooking at very reasonable prices (not tourist prices). A large buffet breakfast was laid out every morning and the fresh orange machine was fantastic. The hotel was a 10min. walk to all shops and central market. Area is flat and easy to walk for older people. A very excellent hotel and would certainly stay there again

Very small bathrooms with difficult door maneuver to get to the toilet. I have heard the hotel is going to be renovated this year.

Beautiful. view of Old Venetian harbor. Staff very friendly & helpful re: where to go & what to see. Room was spotless. Good value. Nice breakfast. Enjoyed every minute of our stay here.
