We have appreciated the location. The room was simple but clean and a large choice for breakfast. Price a bit high for a 2 stars hotel in Greece. You pay for the location |

I have stayed at the Byzantion Hotel several times. Every time my family visits me and we chose to tour Mystas we stay at the Byzantion Hotel. The accomodations are comfortable and the location is excellent. It is a great value for the money. |

The Air conditioning unit was very noisy and extremely smelly! We had to shut that off and kept the doors open all day and to sleep at night. Metal doors that made a lot of noise when being slammed (whether accidental or intentional) by people or wind. Unpredictable shower temperature. It was an extremely unpleasant experience as the water temperature was fluctuating from very cold to scalding hot! |

The hotel is located down the road to the byzantine town of Mystras, we had a view of the town and of the plains of Laconia from our window. The hotel has new windows which eliminate street noise, a good breakfast, and a large shower stall for a Greek hotel. Carpets and bedspreads need updating, but there seems to be renovation going on, one step at a time. |

The view of ruins from our room balcony was fantastic. Contrary to some reviews, we found the decor to be classy and tastefull (as opposed to "dated"). The pool outside was quite refreshing after climbing the ancient ruins. Breakfast had good selection and served in a very pleasant space. There were three computers for internet use. The restaurant across from the hotel has excellent meals for less money than we paid elsewhere in Greece. |

Essentially this is the only sensibly priced hotel at an amazing location Mystra in Greece. The hotel overlooks the old Bysantine City and the small town of Mystra itself is not overcome with commercial interests as as the larger sites. Much more atmosphere than staying in nearby Sparta. |

The Hotel is quite dated, but very clean, and convenient if you visit Mistras. The swimming pool in the torrid greek August is a dream come true. Dated structure |

The hotel has an excellent location for exploring the sites and ruins of Mystras. The staff is friendly and helpful; always greeting us when we entered and left the hotel. The rooms are very spatious and have nice terraces, breakfast is generous, and there is a free internet service in the hotel's lounge which was really good. Lovely pool and garden; rooms are air conditioned and have views of the ruins. Nice restaurants nearby. We decided to leave a day early, as 4 days aren't needed in Mystras and the staff was very understanding and didn't charge an early check-out or penalty fee. It was a little sleepy, but that is part of its charm. Other guests weren't very friendly, but that is hardly the fault of the hotel. |

Rooms very big and clean . Very nice location and view from the terace . Very friendly staff . The gardens in the back (where the pool is ) are absolutely gorgeus. People going there should take time to enjoy the relaxing and friendly little town and the hotel facilities. |
