Great location near the ancient town of Mystras. The pool is a lovely addition after a hot day trudging through the town. Clean, comfortable rooms.

The room was clean and comfortable with modern amenities. The hotel had a nice pool, which made my kids quite happy! The location was perfect for visiting Mistras early in the morning. And there was a nice breakfast buffet, which was included in the price of the room, that also helped get us off to an early start. The hotel had a small parking lot with trees that offered shade. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. We checked out in the morning and went to tour Mistras. In the afternoon we returned to town for lunch and the owner let us park in their lot and even invited us to use the pool again if we wanted!

Perfectly placed with views up at the Byzantine city of Mystras. Reasonable breakfast and great setting. Nice pool area once one has climbed the formidable ruins to the castle on top.

THe location of this hotel is just superb and the views amazing. We arrived after a long hot day of driving and it was so nice to park ourselves by the pool and relax. Cute town with a taverna across the street which was delicious then a quick drive to the site of mystras. Breakfast was delicious and set us up for our big walk.

The man who checked us in was not very freindly but luckily the lady in the morning made up for it.

I just love this hotel, the staff and the little town of Mystras. Better value for money you wont find in this area. Great breakfast and pool with deck chairs. Across the road is a great restaurant and coffee shop, where we ate lunch and dinner everyday. Mystras is a must see.

Older, graceful hotel, situated in the center of Mistra, with excellent views of the castle and the historic Mistra hillside. Breakfast was good and there is a pool.

Wonderful proprietors and staff. Large, clean rooms with spectacular views and large balconies. In the mountains but with easy access to civilization as well as to the medieval site of Mystra. Nice breakfast, swimming pool, wi-fi that actually works.

The Byzantion Hotel is spacious and elegant. The village of Mystras is charming and quiet and the ruins are beautiful. So is the pool. The breakfast is generous and delicious.

The Hotel is located right in the middle of town and only metres from the Bus Stop. It is approximately a 15 min walk to the lower gate, but a better option is to take a taxi to the upper gate and walk down. Our room was large and very comfortable and included a wall safe and fridge. The room had a lovely balcony which overlooked the orange groves, mountains and the old Mystras Village. The Breakfast was very good and the Wifi in our room was excellent. The staff were very helpful and the Hotel is value for money and definitely a better option than staying in Sparti.

Nothing to fault provided the air conditioning system is turned on.

Friendly staff, room with views which were very good. Basic bed with poor quality, skimpy sheets, not ideal if you're a restless sleeper! Excellent choice for visiting Mystras if you can put up with a bit of night-time noise from taverna across the road. Pool looks good.

A bit noisy. Bed linen needs investment.

We liked the helpfulness of the staff, the proximity to the ancient site of Mystras, the pool & garden, the fact there was a bath tub as well as a shower, the view of Mystras from our room and the wi-fionnection.

The noise from the road in the evening.

The hotel was very good: friendly staff, nice room, good beds, good bathroom, nice view from our balcony. Good breakfast and nice garden with swimmingpool. The location is good, in the centre of Mystras, and the hotel had its own parking.

The hotel was easy to find using our GPS (Google maps) on my Samsung Galaxy smart phone while travelling from Sparti. The hotel was very clean, the staff friendly and helpful and they spoke English very well. This hotel offers great value for money. Ample off street parking was available, some under the shade of the orange trees. We had great views of the ancient castle and mountains from our balcony. Management catered for our dietary requirements (non diary) as we requested - Soy Milk. Breakfast was great with lots of homemade jams and cakes on offer. They offered eggs cooked in different ways to appeal to all and the sausages were very tasty. Fresh fruit and the usual buffet breakfast foods were also on offer. The location to Ancient Mystra and museum was excellent, you could walk or drive. The hotel is well situated amongst many cafes and restuarants. 'The Casle' or 'To Kastro' restuarant opposite the hotel was exceptional, the manager "Michael' and his staff were friendly and helpful.
