Byzantion Hotel  

This is a great location for seeing the Mystras site. Private parking is available, and public transit at the door. Walk to the tavernas in the village. My room was clean and comfortable, a double room booked as a single, with a small balcony overlooking the street and the ruins in the distance. This is an older property, and has the feel of somebody's grandmother's house. It might not please those looking for the most modern furnishings and decor, but it was clean, comfortable, and roomy. Breakfast can be eaten indoors or out. Breakfast was average, nothing in particular stands out from other breakfasts I had in Greek hotels. The outdoor tables filled up fast in the morning. There are several steps up to the front door, but there is an elevator inside up to the rooms. The proprietor did help carry my bags up the steps, but this might be an obstacle for people with mobility problems.The large public rooms offered computer access and space for reading. I didn't try the pool as I was only there for one night and returned from the ruins late in the day. I would gladly stay here again.

Exlent location and good view good breakfast

Comfortable room, very good location for visiting Mystra, bus from Sparta stops outside the door, good restaurant across from hotel.

Clean room, nice view of the ruins and a pretty pool out back. Breakfast was decent and it was well maintained. About a 5 min drive from Mistras and 5 min from Sparta, parking on site.

We liked the staff, the size of the room, the balcony, and the terrace for breakfast. The pool was good but rather cold because of recent rain. The location of the hotel was excellent for visiting the fascinating mediaeval town/fort with its wonderful churches.

very nice room, decoration, breakfast is excellent, nice swimmipool, in the center of Mistra in a wolking distance to mistras archeological site Very nice personnel , I had a very nice stay for 2 nights there.

my room was with nice view, but to the road and it was very noisy because of motos, cars, buses,. That is thee problem of mountain effect i think - like a echo effect. So if you choose a garden view, you will feel much better.

Quiet, with a nice pool in the garden. Convenient for the visit of Mystras.Good value for price.

Bad internet connection

Perfect ubication to visit Mystra. It has a good swimmingpool, which in summer in Greece is realy nice.

The wifi didn't work, but they have computers avalaible.

Excellent location, Big rooms, Very clean.

There could possibly be greatest variety in breakfast.
