The location of the Caldera Villas is 66 steps down the Caldera in Oia. This Villas are wonderfully located with a view left and right along the Caldera, and a view down to the ocean and small port below. The rooms were quite clean. Could have been a shade better, but my wife has high standards. The pool was a reasonable size (perhaps 20' by 12') and breakfast was good. The steps to the Villas are not steep, but it's a trek down (especially with suitcases). Be prepared for energetic ascents/decents to and from the villas. The hotel is quite pricey, but I guess that's what you pay for the awesome location. |

The staff were very accommodating and kind. The view and location in central Oia were lovely and the accomodations were very traditional. The location and studios we booked and stayed in for 1 night at Caldera Villas were very poor and not nearly worth the price. They were down the caldera 100 difficult steps and the rooms were tiny, very basic and unattractive. One bed was up a narrow ladder in a loft. Fortunately the manager was able to move us to rooms at the Residence Suites annex for our next 2 nights. Those rooms were much larger and more attractive, but with no special amenities. Though much better, this hotel was also somewhat overpriced for what it offered. The breakfast was terrible, especially the orange juice and coffee. |

Clifftop location, beauty of town and "cave" room. Misleading to suggest balcony was private. Exclusive to the room yes, but only semi-private. People could and did walk through. Lovely balcony though... |

The view was beautiful We did not know that we would have to go down 5 stories of cobblestone step to get to our room. The toilet backed up for 3 days . The bathroom was what you would find in a 3rd World country with no tub or shower curtain, just a hand held shower and a floor drain. The beds were mattress and a sheet. Rock hard. The bright spot was a Albanian gentlemen who tried to help fix this mess. |

The view was wonderful as was the feeling of authentic Greek architecture. The plumbing was tricky, and there are a lot of steps, which was fine for us but some people may not want that. |

The staff is very helpful and friendly. The view of the caldera is absolutely gorgeous! A very relaxing time. The most scenic in Greece. Quite a few stairs to get to the hotel, but they carried our luggage for us. Worth the trip down the stairs indeed! Beautiful view. |

Nice view, friendly staff Breakfast was very simple and doesn't taste good to our Asian appetite. Bed can be more comfortable, and would be nice to have a mosquito net for a good sleep. |

la vista a la Caldera todo el resto .No hay carteles indicadores de la ubicación ,estuvimos 1,30 horas buscando y la gente local no lo ubica .La habitación tiene una ventana solo desde la cocina hacia la Caldera .Carisimo,desayuno pobre,acceso restringido a personas con aptiudes fisicas ,los que tienen dificultades no pueden acceder. |

No me ha gustado nada. Es carisimo no me gustado nada. Es carisimo, tienes q bajar muchisimos escalones para llegar al hotel, eso si lo encuentras, pq esta escondido. Primero me dieron una habitacion sin ducha ni ventanas, pagando 170 euros. Me queje y me cambiaron pero la nueva almenos tenia ducha pero nada de las prometidas vistas a la caldera. Un timo total!!!! |

rien En guise d'accueil, on vous débite votre carte bleue avant d'avoir vu la chambre, qui ne correspondait pas à la réservation faite. Avons demandé à changer de chambre, sans succès, celle attribuée étant sommaire, située entre des déchets de ferrailles et le passage des ânes. Le personnel, qui ne parle pas grec, qui n'est pas professionnel de l'hôtellerie, n'est absolument pas concerné pas les demandes des clients. La robinetterie laisse à désirer ainsi que la propreté de la baignoire. La literie (de la "honeymoon suite" et qui ne l'est pas) est aussi confortable qu'un lit de camp. Avons abrégé notre séjour avec beaucoup d'amertume. Au prix où nous avions payé la chambre (point d'orgue de nos vacances), nous avons été très déçus |
