Excellent location in Agios Prokopios, renovated rooms, friendly and very capable staff. Always clean and paying attention to detail.
The staff, the breakfasts, the use of the facilities of the neighbouring hotel, the lovely beaches close by (10 min walk) and the pretty bedrooms with balconies
Nothing! Our family liked everything!
friendly welcome , very clean and sweet rooms, close to nice beaches and places, good information guidance
My husband and I stayed here with our young daughter and Stavros was very knowledgeble about Naxos and helpful in every way. Thank you!
Only Stavros knows all the answers.
Extremely friendly owner snd staff. In nice quiet area yet very close to beach and shops.
Stavros was extremely helpful! Wonderful location and clean rooms.
Friendly staff. Nice, light and airy rooms. Very clean. Near beach, but without the noise and hassle that comes with a busy beach area. The use of the very nice swimmingpool of the neighbouring hotel.
Nothing. Camara offers excellent value for money
Hard bed (though they said all mattresses have been replaced with new "soft" ones); noisy facilities (can hear everything in the hallways VERY loudly); not well cleaned (dead bugs on walls); bathroom smells; do not provide shampoo; very poor wifi; small 13" box TV with poor reception; located a bit too far from the villages along a poorly lit road
The most charming little hotel with the kindest owners/staff. The location is great for those who appreciate coming back to a pretty and quiet place after a day at the beach, exploring the island, or wandering Naxos chora. We loved hearing the donkeys in the neighbouring fields in the afternoons! Agios Prokopios beach is gorgeous, it was an easy 5-10 min walk down the street to get there, with a stop for an ice cold Mythos along the way of course:). Lots of tavernas to choose from when you get hungry. The breakfast is fantastic, we loved the sour cherry topping for the yogurt. Our room was very cute with a canopy, was cleaned every day and we had a huge balcony with a peekaboo view of the beach. Take the time to talk with the owners and employees, they have so much info on the island that they love to share with their guests! All I've been thinking about since coming back is when I can come back to Naxos and stay here!
Most of all, extremely friendly staff. The room is basic, but nicely decorated. The mattresses and pillows are very comfortable. Rooms are cleaned daily. Our balcony had a nice view of the sea.
No shelf for bathroom accessories. A smalish balcony with no shade and therefore rarely usable. But all of that was of minor importance.
Just fabulous in every way. The Location is just far enough away to offer peace and tranquillity whilst close enough to be a short walk to the beach and Tavernas. Rooms were spotless and well appointed with an amazing view from our room. The staff were so helpful and just could not do enough for you. Stavros the owner was a font of knowledge and was never seen without a big smile and a wonderful manner. Poppy who works in the hotel was one of the nicest and most helpful people you could ever wish to meet. Would we stay in the hotel again, yes tomorrow would not be soon enough.
One of the nicest small hotels I've ever been to. Excellent breakfast, home-made jams, good coffee. Friendly, very helpful staff. Thank you for lovely stay and all the best for future!
Really clean rooms, lovely friendly staff. Just a short walk to the beach. The area is good with nice restaurants and a great beach.
Just a little difficult to find as it is down a small street which is a dead end.
friendly and helpful staff stylish rooms good breakfast
Very good staff service, they help arranging everything; 5 min walking to Agios prokopios beach; Very calm atmosphere; You can use the pool of Lagos mare
No breakfast in the room rate, which is a bit uncomfortable; A bit far away to Naxos city - you need taxi or rent boogie or wait for a bus.
Stavros the manager andStathis the receptionist was a great, sweet and very helpful, breakfast very good, love the homemade jam I would recommend this hotel for sure!
It's a fabulous hotel, especially for the price. Our room was delightful and it was nice to have a slightly bigger bathroom than in some of the other hotels we have stayed in. It's so good, we are staying there again next week when we return to naxos
Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely room, and very good breakfast.
good value accomodation
a bit of distance to the beach, but do-able.
Excellent room, amazing views
We enjoyed the two nights we stayed at the Camara Hotel. The room was clean and fresh, staff was friendly. Breakfast was for purchase only and was good, many of the foods offered were made locally and were very tasty. It is a nice place to stay.
My husband is 6' 4" so the beds were a bit too short for him!
The hotel was in a great location, the staff were all informative and friendly, and the rooms were clean. We recommend getting a scooter to explore the island and go to the restaurant Pardisio. Also the neighboring hotel has a pool that we were able to use.
The only negative was the bed was very stiff.
Excellent hotel with possibly the best staff ever. Stavros is your man for everything you might need during your stay. The roof terrace is a big plus.
Mattresses were a bit hard but Stavros told me he is changing them this year. Other than that nothing.
This was definitely our favorite stops on our Greek holiday. Stavros was so welcoming and had answers to every question we asked. The room was bright and cheerful. The rooftop terrace and the fresh local food was a great surprise as well. I highly recommend Hotel Camara to anyone planning a trip to Naxos!
From the bus stop, it was tricky to find the hotel because there weren't any signs - just something to be aware of!
