We visited Crete for 3 weeks in October/November. We used this hotel as the base for our Crete travels. Staying here for several days, leaving our bag as we took the bus to another part of the Island with overnight backpacks. The staff was great - ready to answer questions and assist us in our planning. Rooms are large and spotlessly clean. Hotel is steps away from wonderful food and shopping. It is only a short walk to the port and bus station. Buses to airport and activities too far to walk to stop right outside the hotel.

Friendly, helpful staff, big rooms, good sized bed, I'm 6' 6" so important for me. The food and drink in the hotel is expensive. A small bottle of water was €2.50 but just outside the front door was a kiosk selling a large bottle of water for €1.80 - go figure! The decor is good, if not a little tired looking. There are a lot of restaurants a few hundred metres away and the food / service was excellent in the one we tried. The hotel price for one night was €105 and we'd booked a month ahead so not the greatest deal in the world. They have valet parking - which you need to use because it's hard to park beside the hotel - but they sting you for a further €9 for this service.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It was great not to have to worry about parking the car as they had a valet service. Wonderful central location would highly recommend it. One of the receptionist had a sightly stuck up manner but everyone else was lovely.

My husband and I arrived at night, we did the check in, ok. Then we went out for dinner, when we came back, we saw a paper fixed on the elevator saying that there was no water at all after 11 pm. As we were starving and tired, of course, we left our stuffs in the room and went out to eat, so in order to our priority, we decide to take a shower when we return(and guess no matter the reason, the bathroom is acomplished, and we decide what time to use it). A problem at this high level of importance should be told at the check in. So sure we'd have never stayed in a hotel with no running water at all! And we booked there just to spend this one night, to take a shower and rest for the next day, which we were up to drive some hours to move to another city. So, we really tried to sleep and wait the water comes back, at 06 am. By the way, we were really deceived as well for the room; great space, but our view was to some buildings where we could almost interact with the residents. The bed was ok, but the sheets were really uncomfortable, sensation of being wrapped in a (rough) paper. Sleep? No way! There was a several noise coming from some workers outside and people making a fuss on fhe street, even with the doors closed, we could hear everything. In the morning, yes, finally I took my so expected shower(as well brushing teeth, using the toilet) and my husband went alone to take his breakfast(not included besides the high priced hotel). He came back and we proceeded to check out, believing that at least they would offer a discount for the water inconvenience. No way, and I insisted that was no honest at all; this "kind of information"(we have no water) must had been told from the very moment we did the check in, not attach a simple paper, with no signature, on the wall of the elevator. And they were concerned that we were there just to have a great rest.

The hotel is very central and quite professional. The breakfasts are excellent in terms of variety of offerings and their taste. The internet was tricky to connect to but once connected was very good. Rooms were spotless and the staff was useful in gettingdirections etc.

Very comfortable bed. The best I found in Crete. Nice room. Lovely rooftop pool. Good balcony overlooking the town. Very convenient location for ferry port and city centre. Room a bit small and identical in every detail to the other rooms I have stayed in there.

We had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel while we visited Heraklion Town and Knossos. We stayed in Room 416 on the 4th floor, it had great views, the bed was very comfortable and was very convienient for the lovely rooftop terrace/bar/swimming pool. There were no tea and coffee making facilities in the standard rooms. There was a problem with the room on arrival, the hotel was very full but the Hotel Manager Sofia sorted it out as soon as possible and we were very pleasantly suprised with an upgrade.

We stayed at the hotel for one night as we had a flight out of Heraklion the next day. Very comfortable hotel with good service. We really enjoyed the rooftop pool as we had a late flight--it was really nice to cool off in the pool and relax on the rooftop after doing some sightseeing during the day. The hotel is located within walking distance to shopping, port.

I enjoyed the pool on the top when I needed a much needed break from the city. The room was spacious as I was a single and it was great that the room was comfortable and not small. I was a bit disappointed when I got up at 8.30 and the buffet was quite empty even though they had a great selection in the morning. I was lucky to see it the morning before at 7.oo . I am sure they refill it but it should be done sooner and quicker.

I looked for a hotel to suit the special needs of my spouse. Is invalid in a wheelchair. I relied on the text of your site hotel adapted for the physically challenged, I assumed you checked it. Even when I went to a hotel mentioned in comments that a couple paralyzed and is in a wheelchair. I booked for 6 nights. The first two days we got a room without access to toilet and shower because the room was occupied. Tried to compensate us in the suite, But there was no access to toilet and shower door too narrow, the hotel entrance has a high degree, we had to wait every time the team will be freed to help. There is a pool on the roof of the hotel, but there is no elevator gets there. Only on the last day we were told that a rear elevator of the team that can be used if you notify them in advance, you can In conclusion: The only thing you can say is: great staff, very kind and trying to help. But the hotel itself is not prepared for disabled first two days we suffered very much, I'm an older woman had to drag him on a regular chair into the bathroom and then move it down the toilet. So for us we did not receive adequate compensation for stay דרג את התרגום reach the pool. Only the stuff . I offer you in the future before you recommend a hotel you should check carefully whether the hotel meet the standards you describe and if the hotel have the faccilities that you discribe
