the hotel, staff, location, are all terrific, just a few things, in my opinion, stop it from being perfect. The taped music in the bar area, is mostly techno, trance, dance. I think some variety would improve the ambiance. Two rickety toasters at breakfast for all the diners is not good, and the food can be a bit samey, but ok in general. Only being allowed one key card for the room is a bit of a pain too, but apart from these few minor points, we had a wonderful time.
- The hotel is beautiful, and plenty of space to walk. - The pool is very big and clean. - The beach-side in front of the hotel is also pretty for staying. First you have to walk into a bit of stones to get into the sea, but ones in, it's only sand. The sea is just amazing. You can see fish swimming, the water is very clear. - Rooms could a bit cleaner for a 5-star hotel, but still they're clean enough and beautiful. - The spa/fitness is very relaxing and always accessible. - Beds are very good - Buffet is very extended, and plenty of choose. Try the Wok-restaurant but reserve on time! Breakfast is just heaven!! One of the best breakfast-buffets i've had in life.
1. The bartenders from the main bar were not always friendly. Sometimes the expression on their face was like they didn't like their job. A smile costs no money! 2. Wi-fi is very weak, and definitely if more people are in the lobby connected to it. As for a five star hotel, and in an digital era, wifi could have been in the rooms (for free!) and not only the lobby, This have to be better. 3. The air-conditioning in our room smelled very bad. We've communicated this problem at the reception the first day. The lady said she send here colleague to our room. In the first place it looked like it was repaired, but afterwards, the airco smelled the same as before: Like sewer fragrance. 4. As we checked-in, the receptionist told us that a colleague from her would pick us and our luggage up, and transport us to our building/room. After 1.5 hours waiting in the lobby (only we and another couple where waiting to picked-up), still nobody came. We searched our room by ourselves.
We appreciated the quiet atmosphere of the hotel, the wide range of services offered, the room...everything. If you go to Kos, you can't miss it!
Close to town Beautiful pool area Modern rooms Excellent sea view Adults only Close to town (1 km)
Free beverages were brandless and less tasty
Nice big pool, nice food, very friendly stuff and various activities like acqua gym, table tennis, etc.
The water was not drinkable and was difficult to walk to the room.
To begin with, the hotel is beautiful, spacious and has a nice environment. The pool area is very large, overlooking the sea. Catering at the hotel was delightful - lots of choice with a high quality. I'd highly recommend to visit Wok n' Roll restaurant for a change. The thing that made the experience in this hotel the best it could possibly be was the staff. The maître d' - Stavros is an amazing person, who always greets everybody with a smile and open arms. It made us feel as we were the most important people of the diner and created a very hospitable environment. Staff in the pool bar was extremely friendly and made tasty and refreshing drinks for the guests. Receptionists were very helpful and kind. Additionally, great entertainment in the hotel - every morning and afternoon sports exercises by the pool. Also, wine tasting and traditional greek Tzatziki making lessons. Overall, everything was delightful and very enjoyable.
The main bar is not really cosy. The bartenders were not as friendly. Wi-fi is very weak if more people are in the lobby connected. As for a five star hotel - it could have been in the rooms, not only the lobby, or at least better. The beds might be too hard for some.
Hotel is modern, staff professional, food is nice. It looks like a high quality hotel for greece but comparing with europe's 5 *-i would give to carda beach only 4 the most.
Swimming pool-would be great if not for very very salty water.
medetarenian restaurant - food with too much oil , salads not best quality didnt get fresh new towels for bathroom every day
