- Friendly and helpful Staff. Went the extra mile. - Excellent Wi-Fi connection. - Proximity to Syntagma Square. - Street with good eating places.
- On too busy a street. Noisy. - Could have used a coffee kettle and a couple of coffee/tea bags.
The staff were so helpful and the location worked great for walking to Monastraki for dinner and shopping. The bar next door was an added bonus! Fell in love with the place and did not even know it existed..stumbled across it walking back to hotel.
Reasonably priced and well situated hotel.
A little spartan but fine for a brief stay.
Worst value for money hotel I have stayed in Athens, only thing going for it was poition but it did not make up for the lack of quality, it should of been 1/2 the price I still would not say in it. The bad list is too long.
Nothing, even a smug old attendant. Enough said !!!!!
We stayed on the fifth floor which has a large, shared roof deck with views to the Parthenon and greater Athens. The AC in the room worked great. Also, the wi-fi was excellent. We arrived at 8:00 AM from an early - morning flight from Mykonos. We expected to have to stow our luggage and wait till later to check in. However, the room had just been vacated and after about 20 minutes we were able to check in. This was such a great advantage for which we were not asked to pay. A taxi was arranged for us at departure and check out was seamless.
This is not the Ritz Carlton and we are not picky travelers. IF you expect a fancy hotel for the rate you pay, you will not find happiness anywhere.
Clean, good location, good stuff, tasty halva.
Conditioner flows right into your face, bed was noizy and small for my 187cm.
Great location , near monatskySquare about 5min, next time come back i'll stay here
Great location, the roof deck is awesome and the breakfast is delicious. Particularly the feta, best I tasted in all of Greece.
The mattresses are really hard.
The location is excellent, very close to The Acropolis and to other attractions. The staff is also very friendly.
The pillows in our room were very hard. The instructions of the security box were blurred.
Breakfast: to avoid. Expensive compared with the quality. It's easier and more convinient to go outside to have the breakfast
The location is excellent, with walking access to everything in Plaka, Syntagma, and surrounding area. Hotel was clean, but simple and no-frills, which was what we wanted. We were lucky to get a large balcony, which was very nice. Staff was friendly, and let us check in several hours early.
There were four of us in one room, we I meant that we were given four twin beds. The room was barely big enough to fit the beds, and it was challenging to get in and out of bed from the sides of the bed. This was a minor issue, and it did not detract from our experience.
Staff is very nice and helpful. Also rooms are clear and with everything you need. The location of the hotel is absolutely perefect, we have gone to the most of the sightseeings by walk. The part of the Athens, where is hotel located, is moreover in the centre and is very safety.
Wi - fi - you never now, if it will be working, but most of time you will find out that it will not.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, the location was perfect - close to sites, restaurants and bars. We had a family room with four single beds so the balcony was welcome. Very reasonable price for four people. Nice crisp, clean sheets, and spotless - not new - bathroom with 'disinfected' paper seal on toilet and clean toothbrush glasses in plastic.
The matresses varied from hard to soft and the quilts were a bit faded.
The hotel was announced to be located 50 m from the Syntagma metro station, however it is not 50 m: the way is rather long to go for a little kid. In addition the street of the hotel is extremely badly smelling: bums sleeping on the street urinate there. Regarding the room itself: the photo on the booking is far better than the real room: we took the room for 3 plus additional bed. Very old furniture, old ceramic surface on the floor and in the bathroom, very small room-to the extend that 4 people cannot walk or stand simultaneously. 100 euro is just unbelievable for this cell.
excellent location friendly staff
small room 2 windows both looking the firewall
Great Location, close to everything you need in athens, staff very helpfull and nice. Good value for money. Great area for bars and pubs...
Room a little bit small.
The location is perfect.
The lighting in the rooms could be made more cosy with not so white lamps.
- 24 hours reception - friendly staff - balcony - quality of breakfast
- performance of air condition was very poor
Hotel location was very close to the metro station and restaurants .basic but cheap enough for a short stay .owner very helpfull
Close to Syntagma Square : pretty usefull for an early flight.
Very noisy + we had to turn off air-conditioned to sleep (it sounds like a taking off plane). Not worth the price!
Very friendly staff, extremely good location. Nice bars and restaurants just around the corner.
We had the bad luck to be on the same floor with one of these annoying scandi groups, who were extremely loud. But that's not the hotels fault....
1. good location. I felt very safe. 2. show water is hot and OK 3. staff are nice 4. easy access to Metro/Train Monastiraki. take Ermou street, then Aiolou, street rather. rather than Athinas street then Vereou st. 5. easy access to eatery at Adrianou or Acropolis, we went south on Aiolou, then west on Pandrossu. lots of shops along the way.
1. not I do not like it: show stall is small. quite challenge to keep water not go to floor.
Room had Climatization, which was a life saver Quite close to city center
