ottima accoglienza , ottima colazione e arredamento particolare ,da considerarsi piu' un bed&break che un hotel vero e proprio. in pieno centro storico , si consiglia il parcheggio sulla piazza del Municipio. |

i liked everything very clean very friendly,would recomend it to anyone they overbooked the hotel and did not get to stay there two out of three nights we booked but got upgraded to the junior suite on the last night. |

People were very friendly. I arrived at 8 o'clock in the morning and although the hotel policy was clear that checkin begins after 12.00 , they allowed me to stay without to pay any extra fees. In general the staff is very very kind and helpfull. |

My daughter chose the setting of Casa Viate for her wedding day. It was the most amazing experience and wedding ever. The court yard of the hotel was an outstanding setting for the wedding. The owner of the hotel and all the staff worked hard to provide excellent service and meet all our demands and make my daughters wedding a day that we will never forget. Thank you all so much- I think I can not find enough words to thank you all. In terms of ambience - service- clealniness the hotel is outstanding- a luxury boutique hotel close to all amenities in the most beautiful setting ever. I recommend this hotel as the most idealic pleace to relax, enjoy peace and relaxation and have the best wedding ever !!!!!! Thank you all - |

a wonderful stay in a beautiful hotel. A boutique hotel with historic value and the most beautiful garden I have ever stayed. The suite i stayed in was excellent beautifully decorated and very romantic- a weekend packed with relaxation. The staff were very polite and very willing to meet requirements and help with directions and things to do. The rooms were very clean and the staff at reception always helpful. In the center of a historic part of Rethymno in close proximity to bars- restaurants - and the beach but at at he same time feeling secluded and private. An excellent choice. |

Hello all, As you well know, I greatly appreciated all aspects of my several stays at Casa Vitae during the month of June. I felt personally cared for (and at a difficult personal time). It will be my choice to return to the Casa Vitae family whenever in Crete, and I shall highly recommend it to others. Sincerely, June Jelm The quality of day-time coffee and tea was fine quality and very satisfying . For the tastes of a small woman, the pastry breakfast was too heavy. Were the hotel not under the constraints of small preparation facilities and an irregular public, a lighter variety of local items would be lovely. Nevertheless, as long as the general public likes the pastry breakfast, I can consider my needs an exception. Cheers, June |

The hotel is in the middle of the old centre, beautiful, central but still very quiet and peaceful. Breakfast is very good, and served at your table. You sit in a beautiful courtyard and are spoilt rotten. The promised wireless internet connection is not in the whole hotel. The standard rooms have no wireless due to the very thick walls. So if you're in the standard rooms and want internet you have to go sit in the courtyard. Which is no real punishment since its beautiful but power is limited to your battery then. |

I liked the location, ideal distance to shops, old town, venetian fortress, beach, restaurants, but just far enough away to be quiet from the busier centre. I also liked the decoration and comfort of the hotel. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and let us check out late (at no extra cost) as we had a night time flight. The decoration was really nice, exactly as it is shown on the pictures. Also we had free wi-fi internet in the room which was very useful. We did not have a safe in our room, however this wasn't a problem as the hotel seemed quite secure. |
