staff was very helpfull and nice, prices correct, nothing hiden, good hotel we were 3 persons staying there and we recomend it room mas good the neibourhood not nice but all transportation was close by, and the sourruoundings were not so bad the sourroundings are not nice |

very pleasant staff, good room, gret value for money surroudnign area was a it grim, probably not helped by the binmens' strike. However, it was very easy to get into town |

very large room; wi-fi connection; whirlpool bath; free car parking; location in a not touristic area, but close to the underground Too expensive breakfast rate, which I realised was not included in the hotel rate |

A gem of a hotel, spotless, excellent value for money, luxurious rooms and a location not half as bad as I'd read.....a 200m walk to the tube, two stops and you're at the Acropolis!! I loved and would highly recommend. Leaving it at the end of the holiday! |

Excellent staff and service, good value breakfast, impressive renovation and super facilities in rooms, nice balconies, jacuzzi et. A great base for a city break. Great value for money. Name of hotel somewhat misleading - not centrally located at all, though easy walking distance to fantastic National Museum. Neighbourhood definitely downmarket residential although socio-economically interesting and agreeable (street markets, big immigrant presence, many small local bars bakeries shops etc). However, superb metro system does make it easy to move around the city, so not a serious disadvantage. |

Friendly staff, fantastic room, great value, proximity to public transportation, free wifi internet Some people might object to neighbourhood, we liked it, it is down to earth and shows a different part of Athens. Cappucino costs 2 euro instead of 3.50 to 4 euro in popular areas. |

The hotel was very clean and comfortable-the staff were nice too-some people complained on here that breakfast was not included and expensive-but we just had coffee and toast every day in our room-at just 3 euros per person and 3 euros per drink. Not the best area-but good for us as in between the centre and people I know in Athens surburbs. |

Hotel room cleanliness; staff hospitality and friend; no charge wireless internet access I am very happy from this hotel, except my pocket was picked in Athens subway; even hotel staff warned me already, I was still been hit. |

It was very comfortable and clean. I especially liked the whirlpool tub! The staff was very helpful and friendly. They gave us a breakfast for free since we had to leave a day earlier than planned and were not entitled to a refund. Not enough pillows in the room (I like lots of pillows!) |

The fact the Hotel was in a neighborhood The fact I was robbed on the metro and hearing of many other robberies. I will be telling all who will listen to stay away from Athens. |

I'd just come from backpacking and I must have looked a terrible mess. Never the less, the staff were very welcoming and helpful, the room was squeaky clean, with a little balcony. The location is obviously not great, it's not in a great area of town. Saying that, I never felt particularly under-threat in Victoria Square, or walking home, but I was paranoid and took precautions. If you do the same you should be OK - walk in groups with the locals, walk in the centre of the street in the light. If in doubt, take a taxi from Victoria Square or from Larissa station |
