Centrally located in Syntagma Square in Athens, the Amalia Hotel is right across from the National Gardens. It features comfortable rooms with satellite and pay-per-view TV, and Wi-Fi internet access....
Score from 1812 reviews Excellent
The Best Western Hotel Museum has a central location next to the National Archaeological Museum and a short walk to the Acropolis. The 3-star Athens hotel features soundproof rooms with free Wi-Fi.

Hermes Hotel enjoys a quiet spot in Plaka, only 2 blocks from the Syntagma Metro Station and the shopping street of Ermou. It offers a spacious lounge and a roof garden.
Score from 978 reviews Very good
The hotel is very clean and facilities are good! It is a good place to chose in Athens.
The room is modern, neat and tidy. I was impressed in the automatic on and off of power using the door key which is very practical and economical. Ceiling light is romantic.
The television could have been upgraded.
We were super impressed with this hotel. It's located in a quiet area outside the centre but easily accessible by metro. It was clean and comfortable and the people at reception were extremely helpful.
The hotel was good value. Staff were helpful. It's a 3 star hotel and we feel it's fairly rated. It is a short walk to Victoria metro.
If this hotel was in tourist area it would be 3x the price. Amazing hotel for price...
Not the nicest location but only 20min walk to everything - just wouldn't walk at night in my own
The hotel is in between 2 stations so there is great transport links into the city centre. The reception looks nice.
The bed was so uncomfortable, and the pillows lumpy. Our view wasn't very nice either. The rooms are very cheap and cheerful.
Approx 300 m walk to metro Victoria station. Is 5 euro taxi ride into monastraki square. There is fantastic little grill that sells souva stick for 1.70 euro and they are delicious!!
Prob the only thing would be the neighborhood which might put people off however we had no issues. Bed was a little hard for my personal preference
Very nice place, very clean. The location is very convenient. We were able to walk to metro and we even walked to the national archeological museum.
The neighborhood is not nice. However we did not feel unsafe if we returned before dark. We did not find a place to eat within walking distance that served good food but there was a nice bakery by the metro.
Good distance to metro, v helpful staff, lovely and clean, good breakfasts.
The beds and pillows were a bit too hard and the walls are very thin, so a lot of noise from the plumbing/neighbours were heard.
bath with spa function. room decorated as five star.
bad isolation, clear noise from other rooms, from up and down stairs. non-smoking room with smoke smell. strange, good facilities but bad comfort
close to Railway-Station Comfortable rooms
bath decoration&ambience dressing gowns comfortable beds
the area is a bit dodgy - I saw someone inject drugs on the street steps away from the hotel. this is not the hotels fault of course, but I would think twice about being in the area alone, late at night.
Bathroom clean, nice and confortable beds, nice staff
Very poor breakfast with no fresh products, not even decent fruit or juice.
We just loved and definately when we visit Athens again we will stay there. It is rated as 3* but I valued at 4* boutique Hotel, tastefully done, very impressive. Good luck to them in the future. Sir Dr David MENITZ Mrs CAI - Menitz baby MatanYAH - Flora Menitz Cyprus, Australia, Qatar, UAE
clean, close to train station and metro station. Surrounding area has many bakery and small restaurant. The room is big and comfortable.
The facilities of the hotel are awesome. The space of the room is perfect. We peacefully slept during the night.
The location is a bit far away from the metro.
Close to Victoria Square (cafes, restaurants, metro), friendly and helpful staff, supermarkets close by. Clean and comfortable room.
Only minor: would be great if power to the fridge could be kept on when not in the room.
Free parking on site which is a must have in this area.
excellent value for money, clean, spacious, a lot of facilities (even Jacuzzi in the room), smart decoration, fast wifi
Location, possibly the worst part of Athens, thank God metro is only 5 min away
Great location, near the bus and metro and restaurants.
People can smoke in all rooms so when we arrived we had to open the windows because of the smell...
Beautiful place !! Design of the hotel is amazing
Location is scary, inside immigrants neighbourhood
Staff was friendly, rooms were spacious, whirlpool in bathroom, close to Victoria Sq. (Metro) and Larissa Train Station. Located in a quiet, residential area. 20 minutes from Piraeus. Low price. Very good price/quality ratio. Would return.
- children friendly (e.g. not charged for breakfast, nice family suite offered) - very friendly and supportive personel - 5-10 min (Euro 4,50) per taxi to touristic attractions - residential area, relatively quiet quarter
Very well connected, metro is 400m far. Good value for money. They changed rooms to accomodate our needs. Reasonable breakfast (not includes).
Street below: smell, appearance. Poor dining options nearby.
