This exclusive hotel in Imerovigli, in Santorini, is on the edge of the Caldera facing the sea and the volcano. It offers an infinity pool and rooms with private porches with wonderful views of the sea. The totally refurbished Chromata Hotel features contemporary decoration and ultra modern facilities. It offers well furnished rooms and suites with extra long beds, a CD player and free i-Pod. An indoor heated hot tub, and hammam room, offer guests moments of relaxation. Chromata offers an infinity pool complex, with poolside cocktail bar & lounge restaurant where guests can enjoy refreshing drinks, sandwiches and fresh salads for lunch or dinner. Mediterranean Cuisine and a wide selection of Greek and International wines are available at Chromata Resto. The location is ideal to explore the island. The hotel is located in an excellent part of santorini. Amazing views from the pool area. The decor is cool and relaxing and perfect for the hot summer days. Service was excellent and every guest is made to feel like a vip! My favourite time was breakfast time which is served to your room on your private the private terrace overlooking the sea. The ac unit made strange noises at night which often kept us awake.

Superb view, luxurious facilities, friendly & helpful staff. We stayed in a double room which had all the modern comforts with a romantic island style. We hired a car from airport which was cheaper however it was difficult to find parking as hotel does not have guest parking.

Fantastic views, very attentive staff, breakfast brought to your room every morning so you can watch the sight of the cruise ships going by. Very nice pool area with music and good poolside menu, we barely left the hotel all stay and would definitely recommend it. Steep steps up and down can be tricky at night, but staff very helpful with carrying bags and it's all part of the santorini experience!

The staff was excellent, always with a smile on their faces and glad to be of any assisatant whatsoever. The hotel is very beautiful and its facilities wonderful. Very clean and very asthetically pleasing. Our room was No22 and had a great view, very roomy and with a fantastic view from a window overlooking the caldera from the bedroom. The berakfast is simply fantastic and you can chose from a list what you want, served at your balacony. The restuarant has some fantatsic food! is was a delight, best food we ate on the island. We never had to carry any luggage, it was alwys taken care of. We definitly recommend the place and would gladly go back. Some minor details, The room could use an additional mirror, besides the one in the bathroom, as well as a small garbage can besides the one in the bathroom. (other rooms seem to have this, not ours) It was never an issue though and we never complained about it. Hotel should post a private sign on its entrance from another hotel (has more than one) as lost tourists kept finding their way to our room. But that seems to be the case everywhere in Santorini.

We had a fabulous time, although the room was a little small and the pool area is very tight, the view is really exceptional and it's a walk away from the city centre, local bus to go to Oia passes across the street. The staff & service is impeccable & you get breakfast at your room every morning. Thank you Chromata for a fantastic stay. Cheers

The staff were amazingly friendly. The breakfast overlooking the caldera served on your private patio was an amazing experience I will never forget. The hotel is serene and has a cool sexy style. The room we were given was most likely the smallest room in the entire hotel. The minute the manager walked us in I hit my head on the low ceiling next to the bed. The rest of the trip my husband and I both hit our heads repeatedly. When he mentioned to the front desk staff that he has hit his head everyday since we arrived they responded innocently 'oh you must have'. I don't think they were being sarcastic but I think they should have maybe considered moving us. We are not complainers so we just stuck it out. Also there is a lot of stairs at this hotel and I don't think it would be accessible to anyone with physical limitations.

Fabulous. Superb service. Gorgeous property. Incredible views. Individual terrace. Service, Service, Service! And I never do these surveys but Chromata was a wow! While it did not bother me, the Hotel is on a cliff, so it is full of steps down. 8 to reception, another 6 to my room and 15 more to the pool/restaurant. This is not a hotel for the handicapped or anyone who does not want the "stairmaster experience." But this is also a healthful experience as they don't need a gym!
