Cliff Side Suites    

Very good service, great hospitality, spectacular views from the room, comfortable room without much luxury. I loved my days in Santorini and stay longer if I could.

The view was spectacular!

The room was like being in a cave and you couldn't see the Med from the room but that was okay because you only had to walk out of the room and up a couple of steps to see it. Had to duck to go into the bathroom yet the main living area had high ceilings but was oddly arranged.

The staff and the location.

Very poor internet as in the connection and quality,you had to go and stand outside, this seems very poor this day and age, most days I could not open emails. We also arranged a dinner booking thought reception one night as we had a large group (ten people). We were told it had been arranged , when we turned up at the restaurant we booked they had not received a booking , also asked at reception one night for a needle and thread to repair a shirt , was told they would send one down, after three hours I went back to reception only to be told they forgot. This was the same person both times.

a bit small swimming pool, no real restaurant - a pool bar only open from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm- but there are plenty of restaurants around

Expensive for the level of comfort and the level of facilities

The staff was really nice, the location was amazing, astonishing views to the Caldera of Santorini and beautiful sunsets.

The only thing we didn't like is that the room was very humid and although the weather was really nice, the room was too cold. They even put a deshumidifier in the room, but it didn't solve the problem.

TOUT...authenticité...acceuil, vue, prix, gentillesse du personnel....sublime. A recommander.

La stanza che avevamo prenotato a 300 euro, spacciata per suite, sembrava una caverna. Il letto era incassato in fondo alla standa in un cunicolo, non arrivava luce naturale e nel bagno (piccolo e sporco) non c'era nemmeno una finestrella. Abbiamo chiesto di cambiarcela e ci hanno dato una stanza minuscola (forse nemmeno 20m2 in tutto!), sempre per 300euro. La piscina e' anch'essa minuscola, e la colazione che viene offerta e' al livello di un due stelle... Esperienza veramente negativa!!!

L'arredamento, curato nei minimi dettagli. Vista incantevole sul più bel tramonto della Grecia.

Einzig die Lage! Jedoch nur geeignet für körperlich sehr fitte Leute wegen zig Treppen, die bei grosser Hitze zu überwinden sind. Vom Zimmerchen bis zur Strasse rauf ist man bereits pudelnass bzw. Ebenso bis zur kleinen Frühstücksbar und wieder zurück zum Zimmerchen.

Suite gebucht, fensterloses feuchtes kleines Kellerloch bekommen! Keine Privacy: Terrasse mit anderem Zimmer geteilt, für 2 Zr nur 1 Sonnenschirm. Kein Liegestuhl! Zig Hotelgäste liefen täglich über "unsere" Terrasse und setzten sich teilweise unter unseren einzigen Sonnenschirm! Pool eine kleine Dreckpfütze, völlig überfüllt mit Kindern, nur 5 Liegestühle für 27 Zimmer! Kein Restaurant, nur gerade kleine Frühstücksbar am Winzigst-Pool. Kein Aufenthaltsraum. Keine Dusche am Pool. Obschon unser Kellerloch nach dem Auschecken leer stand, mussten wir uns an der Hitze auf unbequemen Stühlen bis zum Abend am "Pool" aufhalten. Nur 1 einzige Toilette/Dusche im Kofferabstellraum in absolut desolatem Zustand (Spülkasten ohne Abdeckung, kein Klopapier etc.). Primitivst-Einrichtung im "Zimmer" entsprechend einem Nullsterne-Standard! Wegen grosser Feuchtigkeit bekam ich Rückenprobleme. Frühstück Niveau Nullsternehotel (Dosenpfirsiche, gummiges Rührei). Eine absolute Frechheit für Euro 300 pro Nacht! Niemals wieder! Die liebevolle Deko (Blumen etc) existiert nur auf dem Internet-Auftritt. In Realität hat es schlicht und einfach nichts. "Schrank" ist eine Höhle in der Wand mit 5 Kleiderbügeln. Tresor kann hinter Kleidern im Dunkeln kaum geöffnet werden, da Licht auslöscht, wenn Tresorschlüssel in die Hand genommen wird! Alle Kleider und Shirts sind feucht nach einem Tag in diesem Loch. Man wird krank dort nach 4 Tagen und sehnt sich nichts als die Abreise herbei.

Posto meraviglioso. Bellissimi tramonti. Staff cordialissimo e sempre a disposizione. Una vacanza meravigliosa!

Hôtel magnifique, accueil très chaleureux, personnel super sympa, tranquillité, vue panoramique extraordinaire. On s'est tellement plu, qu'on y retourne fin août.

A vista é deslumbrante e o local pitoresco pela forma de edificação ao longo da encosta da montanha. O café da manhã é bom e servido no agradável ambiente da piscina. A atenção, a cordialidade e simpatia dos funcionários mostram a disposicao do povo grego em receber-nos bem.

De kamers waren zojuist allemaal gerenoveerd en waren op wat kleine details na in orde. Verder wilde het personeel je echt van dienst zijn met welke vraag ook.

De toegang tot het hotel is een beetje moeilijk te vinden en er is geen pendeldienst van het vliegveld naar het hotel v.v. dit hadden wij van dit hotel wel een beetje verwacht. Verder is het nogal clean aangelegd een paar mooie potten met planten zo hier wonderen doen.

L'emplacement est unique. La beauté du paysage depuis l'hôtel est incomparable. Le personnel est d'une extrême gentillesse et d'une grande efficacité. La chambre qui nous a été attribuée était d'une propreté parfaite. La conception de l'hôtel respecte le style architecturale de l'île de Santorin. Le buffet du petit déjeuner était copieux et tous les aliments présentés d'une grande fraîcheur.

The staff were absolutely fantastic and friendly. The view from the terrace was beautiful.

The rooms on their website do not show what you get. I was going to be given a room with no window until I complained and then was given a room that was better. The original room was on the terrace that had the jacuzzi so you can imagine the noise!!! I had booked a double room that was supposed to have a living area but that did not happen. The pictures on their website is so deceiving. Internet does not work in the rooms - no radio or cd player - no private balcony. I was so looking forward to my stay there as I thought I was getting something really great. 2 other couples checked in and saw what they were getting and promptly found somewhere else

This hotel has lovely rooms and a lovely view. That's about it.

Cliff side suites is a terrible hotel. My friends and I were moved to their cheaper, less glamorous brother hotel for our first night as the hotel staff told us that there was no electricity in our room. We had a view of a driveway instead of the sea view room we would have had at cliff side. We then heard the same story from many other guests who were staying at the same hotel and were told the same thing days ago. When we went back to cliff side suites to confront them about the situation we found out what room we were meant to be in, went and found it and all the lights were on and other guests were staying there! The hotel consistently overbooks and shafts their guests to their cheaper hotel for a night but try to charge you the same amount. The owner was rude and unhelpful. A most unpleasant stay unfortunately considering the beauty of the actual hotel, location and view. I would never stay there again or recommend it.
