Colosseo Star  

Maria was excellent; extremely helpful and very generous. The hotel is perfect for young kids. The pool is clean and warm, with a large shallow area for the kids, going down to 2m at the deepest. There is an attached paddling pool for the very young, with plenty of toys to keep them occupied. An addition play area with a climbing frame and swings is fairly new, solid, and well looked after. The grass area around the pool is well kept and has plenty of shade available. Our room had A/C, but mosquito nets on all windows and the door meant you could get natural ventilation at night without being eaten alive.

Nothing bad to say about the hotel, but the nearby Supermarket is very small with a very small selection of goods.

We booked for three nights and the best thing about Colosseo Star Hotel was when we decided to leave the hotel after just one night all though we had already paid for three nights. Awful hotel!!!

Colosseo Star Hotel was a smelly place because of the salt lake located right on the edge of the hotel. You had to either walk along the stinky salt lake or walk on the very busy main road, to get to the beach. The location is really bad. The real view is a lot different from what is shown on booking.com. And it’s not even close to the beach because of the long way you have to walk around the stinky salt lake or the even longer way when you walk on the very busy main road. The owners have no knowledge what so ever of security for families with small children. We even confronted the owner but he didn’t care all though our 1,5 year little daughter hurt herself on the staircase that had no protection at all. At last George, the owner, told us he would pay our money back for all three nights but when it came down to business he sent his wife instead and she said we wouldn’t get a penny. We booked on booking.com for the amount showed on their site but Colosseo Star overcharged at our account. They also overcharged on the breakfast and refused to pay it back.

We found Maria and George to be the epitome of kindness and helpfulness . They took us into and collected us from the ferry and also into Hora . They shared gifts and food with us . Although the kitchen was kitted out in fairly basic style , the apartment , general facilities and the location were just what we were looking for to enjoy a beautiful holiday on a beautiful Island . Thank you Maria and George .

La atención en general. Nos vinieron a recoger al puerto para llevarnos al apartamento. La habitación genial. Los dueños nos dejaron detalles de comida y snacks en varias ocasiones. La piscina e instalaciones también correctas. Todo limpisimo, incluso nos dejaron encufes para los mosquitos. Ah un detalle importante es que las ventanas de la habitación tenía mosquiteras. La pena que nos hizo un poco de viento y algo de agua y no pudimos disfrutar de la piscina todo lo que nos hubiera gustado.

L'hôtel a répondu à nos attentes, les photographies sont assez fidèles ce qui ne s'est pas révélé être le cas durant notre séjour d'autres hôtels. Le jardin et la piscine sont très agréables, avec transat et parasols en bon état. Les propriétaires sont extrêmement accueillants et disponibles avec de petits gestes très appréciables. (navette, cadeau de départ, cadeau de bienvenue). Les chambres sont neuves avec un mobilier typique et également très récent. Le studio est très bien équipé pour faire la cuisine bien que nous mangions à l'extérieur avec une terrasse privative. La plage est à une centaine de mètres de la mer.

La situation de l'hôtel sur le plan google maps n'est pas bonne. Nous avons fait deux allers-retours en bus avant d'échouer devant un autre hôtel qui s'appelait également COLOSSEO. Mais le propriétaire est venu nous chercher. Donc pour info ne faites pas l'erreur, attendez la navette de l'hôtel au port ou à l'aéroport.

εκπληκτικοι ανθρωποι!!!!!!!!! σε κερδίζουν αμέσως και σε κάνουν να αισθάνεσαι σαν το σπίτι σου. τα δωμάτια ήταν ολοκαίνουρια άνετα και πεντακάθαρα.

El trato que hemos recibido ha sido excepcional. Fue tan cercano que al marcharnos (estuvimos 3 noches, no os penséis), nos dieron un regalito! El hotel está muy cerquita de Agio Prokopios, se puede ir andando perfectamente, y la gran piscina calentita del hotel se agradece un montón en los ratos libres. Nos dejaron un apartamento a precio de habitación porque no tenían sitio, y nos fueron a recoger y a llevar al puerto. También nos dejaban aprovechar los viajes que hacían al puerto para llevarnos a la capital. Un par de días que nos vio desayunando en la terraza, nos trajo un pastel a la habitación. Así que todo perfecto. Muy recomendable.

L'accueil très chaleureux de Giorgios, qui est venu nous chercher au port, à la sortie du bateau : introuvable en France, on te dirait "débrouille toi tout seul" en restant poli. La propreté extrème des chambres, et leur confort, avec une belle douche et une petite cuisine pratique. Une très belle piscine grande et propre, idéale pour les enfants et ados, un petit terrain de tennis bien agréable, et puis il y a Maria et ses petits déjeuners, le matin, ses gâteaux et sa gentillesse.

La situation trop à l'écart de la ville de Hora Naxos, les odeurs en provenance de la plage. Mais je le recommande malgré tout aux familles avec enfants ou ados.

Muy bien administrado por sus cariñosos dueños. Instalaciones típicas, lindo jardín y piscina, piezas cómodas, muy cerca de la playa y tranquilo. Ideal para familias con niños y parejas que buscan relax y buena atención.

El acceso/camino a la playa por las lagunas de sal si bien es corto, es sucio y feo.

To far from the baech and city.

Perfekt för en småbarnsfamiljer, med barn upp till 12-13 år. Maria är fantasiskt generös, vi fick en stor påse grönsaker, ägg, hon bjöd på ett fika för 9 personer när hon förstod att ett av barnen fyllde år. Våra varmaste rekommendationer.

In het begin heb je het vermoeden dat Colosseo Star afgelegen ligt. Maar dat valt best mee. Ligt enkele minuten vanaf het strand en ook te voet is het centrum te doen. Wij zelf zaten helaas niet in het hoofdgebouw (aan tuin met aardig zwembad). Maar we kregen een kamer in één van de bijgebouwtjes. Achteraf zaten we heerlijk: een heerlijk terras waar we 's ochtends vroeg een ontbijtje nuttigde. Complex wordt door een familie gerund. Vooral de vrouwen hebben hier de 'leiding' :) Maria I en Maria II. Beide dames zijn erg behulpzaam, de één spreekt aardig engels en de ander perfect. Leuk onderkomen om terug te keren na een dag touren over het eiland of een dagje strand. Naxos is een eiland om te ontdekken en zeker de moeite waard. Naxos stad zelf is ook een aanrader...wel even verder lopen dan enkel langs de haven. Complex is zeker aan te raden voor families met kleine kinderen; door de grote tuin en speelweide en het leuke zwembad. Ook is er voor de grotere onder ons een tennisbaan en basketbalveldje.

Het enige is dat we geen warm water hadden. Voor de rest no comments! Let wel: zorg dat je appartementje 'schoon' blijft i.v.m. de mieren.... 1 klein chippie zorgt al voor een leger mieren. Maar goed, daar moeten wij als gasten ook zelf voor verzorgen. Appartement wordt zelf goed schoongehouden.

Tillåtande och avkopplande stämning. Mycket familjevänligt med en bra pool omgiven av en mysig och skyddad gård. Värdinnan gjorde allt för stt man ska trivas på ett personligt sätt. Transfer till och från hamnen. Vi är jättenöjda även om vi föredrog de stränder som låg en bit söder om Prokopios, men buss till Plaka beach gick varje halvtimme en kort promenad från hotellet.

Gentilezza, cordialità e pulizia.

Accueil superbe, personnel d une extrême gentillesse (café, jus d orange offerts), hôtel très calme à l'écart du centre, plage un peu éloignée mais très facilement accessible...A Recommander pour des familles avec enfants qui souhaitent du calme et du confort, l'appartement est propre, spacieux, climatisé dans les deux pièces, ménage fait tous les jours (linges changés tous les jours)

La gentilezza e disponibilità dei proprietari a risolvere I piccoli problemi e le piccole mancanze negli appartamenti (poche stoviglie) pulizia perfetta e appartamenti nuovissimi il mare vicino l'appartamento è spettacolare e a mio avviso la spiaggia è la più bella di tutta l'isola il proprietario george ti viene a prendere all'andata e ti riaccompagna al porto al ritorno sempre cordiale e genile giudizio ottimo lo consiglierei

Per arrivare alla spiaggia occorre camminare accanto a delle saline con cattivo odore ma è un piccolo inconveniente perchè non appena si arriva in spiaggia c'è un mare dai colori cristallini che sembra di essere a formentera o ai caraibi

Propreté et décoration du studio, joli et vaste jardin avec piscine très agréable, accueil sympathique.

Pas assez d'ustensiles de cuisine dans le studio ( 2 assiettes pour 2 personnes, une seule casserole et pas de poêle, des couverts pour 2 personnes), allée qui mène à l'hôtel peu arrangé ( attention au vipère sur le chemin de terre quand on rentre de la plage le soir), odeur des marécages si l'on ne passe pas par la ville pour aller à la plage. Mais globalement, pour quelques jours, l'établissement est satisfaisant.

Transport til og fra. Store fine rom og terasser. Flott hage med leke apperater, flott basseng og ballbane. Hyggelig personale. God beliggenhet.

Harde senger. Bedre mer komfortable stoler ute på terrassen.

Hotel Owners were very friendly; The hotel is located close to the beach; Nice view from the balcony to the sea; hotel and swimming pool area are well-kept (sunbeds, trees spending shadow)

The only thing to be considered when using the apartment with 4 people: The apartment is foressen for 4 people, but has 2 small balconies for 2; so it is not possible to sit together all 4 on balcony i.e. for breakfast.

Emplacement idéal: 2 mn à pied de la plage, 5 mn du petit bourg (possibilité de faire les courses, retirer de l'argent, un office du tourisme, une pharmacie, location de voitures, 2 roues, restaurants), arrêt de bus à proximité. Très grande hospitalité de Maria et Georges (aide pour location, transferts effectués par Georges, délicieux gâteaux offerts par Maria). Appartement très bien équipé.Ménage et changement de draps et serviettes tous les jours. Calme.

Fantastisch hotel, gastvrije eigenaren, perfecte ligging, heerlijk zwembad. Kortom aanrader.
