Great hotel, great stuff, great location, sea view...
The staff was friendly and the commun parts of the hotel are nice.
The breakfast was not very good using low cost ingredients. The WIFI connexion is charged in the rooms which seems incredible in 2015.
VERY GOOD SERVICE NICE LOCATION VERY GOOD STAFF
POOR ROOM FACILITIES
The staff was very friendly and helpful. View to the sea. Breakfast was good.
You have to pay for the internet in the room (free in the lobby) and ironing service (there is no iron in the room). Noisy street in front of the hotel.
Friendly staff, breakfast included, room small but clean, good bed
bathroom had only a tiny shower with a curtain
Central location in Glyfada area near everything.
Mattresses are a tad too hard for comfort, also the double bed is just two single beds joined together not a king size bed as requested
Where do I start? The whole experience in Greece was great. The hotel staff was excellent(Thanks, George!!) The room was cleaned everyday. The location to shopping, street cafe's and beaches was very good. We were in easy walking distance to the shopping at the square, private and public beaches(I recommend the private beaches simply because of the beaches were well kept) and the street cafe's were plentiful. And the people of Greece were very, very friendly. And the English language seems to be a second language there. My only regret is that we did not stay longer. If I go to Greece a second time, I would not hesitate in staying at the Congo Palace, again.
The rooms were a little on the small side, but they were adequate for the price and location.
Everything the place is a good location, great pool , great pool bar and walking distance to Glyfada
the foyer and the pool
breakfast was disgusting room was dusty and old bathroom moldy and outdated main room and noisy
Perfect location it is in the heart of Glyfada which offers the best shopping, restraunts, cafes and bars. Always lively and busy area with an endless choice of the above. Across the road from the beach which also offers more great seaside cafes, clubs restaurants. A short taxi/ bus ride into the city centre for sight seeing. It is a perfect location whilst in Athens and fabulous value, with great service.
Location and Price are great.
Rooms need to be updated.

Sea view room was very noisy due to outside traffic all the night, after second night we asked the reception and they changed the room to land/pool view which was more quite. Air condition worked perfectly and cooled the room very good. Shopping area, restaurants and beaches are close to the hotel.
Mattresses are hard. Sea view room - too noisy due to bikes running all night. Safebox was closed by a previous guest, so it was impossible to open and use it. After room change, the new room didn't have the safe box at all.
I think the hotel is expensive because the hotel's reception is very modern and clean, the room is very clean and good. But i also visited London hotel 1 min walking, the reception is not that good, but the room is not far from congo hotel, and its almost 35 % cheaper.
The breakfast is very normal
The staff were friendly and very helpful rooms were clean and any little problems were fixed immediately. The hotel was located close to transport and great coffee shop and eateries.
Breakfast was nice. Poolside was good
Rooms old, needed paint. Lighting in room poor. Bathroom was dirty. Bed uncomfortable. Balcony so small only one person fit at a time.
Good location Clean hotel Friendly staff
The room was at the back of the hotel no good view Only few rooms have a good view You don have the option to select room
Best receptionist we ever met (Dimitris)! Dimitris = hospitality
Number of staff limited breakfast needs some improvement
Great location, close to shops, cafes etc.
Rooms are extremely dark making it hard to see anything in the room at night. The rooms are outdated in comparison to the lobby/hallways. Quite costly vs other hotels that are in just as good location/more modern & comfortable
This is the kind of hotel totally appropriated for symposium/business not for holiday. The lift LoL
Do not ask for a sea view room. There is no real sea view and it is very noisy. The hotel is not located on the sea/beach but on a motorway of 6 lanes that the windows couldn't shut off ! We ask to change the room and it was not possible. The swimming pool is too small for all the clients and crowded and close at 6:00 pm. They ask your room number to give you a towel that you have to bring back to the swimming pool. I went to many 4 stars hotels in the world and I never saw that. Very disappointing !!! The room : There was a water leak in the bathroom that wet all the floor. Cracks in the room's walls. Window did not close well. Conditionned air did not work : 26 celcius degrees in the morning. Minibar was empty not even a small bottle of water. Wifi : is not free but above all it didn't work at all during our 2 days stay. We woke up late and asked for a tea and orange juice at 11:00 am instead of 10:00 am : kitchen and bar were closed and reception told that the price would be 10 € per person though we have paid a night with breakfast ! I never saw this in a 4 stars hotel even more in a "Palace". Staff was just here to make business and not helpful at all.
Hotel was great value for money and in an excellent location. We absolutely loved Glyfada and the fact it was only 40 mins on the tram into central Athens. We really enjoyed the pool area and the staff were extremely helpful. View from the room was impressive. The road in front of the hotel is busy and noisy at times but did not stop us from getting a good night's sleep. Voula beach is well worth a visit if staying here.
The air con in the room was not particularly effective.
All the staff without exception were very pleasant and hospitable. What drew my attention was the receptionist Mr. Dimitri, he knew every customer and attended to their needs very professionally and in a very pleasant way. Also Mr. Stagious was very pleasant and helpful.
The air conditions in one room was noisy. The beds and pillows could be better. Swimming pool seat not comfortable. There was no gym facility.
For a very good standard level of services and hospitality !
