Pool, cleanliness of room and grounds, flowers, varied and quality food for breakfast, impeccable and freindly service. Several excellent restaurant on the beach in Ornos and 5 minute by bus from Mykonos town.
nothing it was great
Very pleasent. Very close to the beach. Easy to get to Mikonos Town. A place to come back.
Amazing staff, went out of their way to make breakfast, plan/book further travel and make our whole stay extra comfortable!
The rooms were clean and decorated nicely Nice Pool area and quiet for relaxing
Not much choice for breakfast, repetative every day. No other choices available, when we asked for something different Not enough sunbeds around the pool No utensils, glasses, crockery, kettle in room had to ask for these.
We stayed in room 1, the junior suite. I must say this is a very beautiful hotel and the staff is very helpful too. Breakfast is very yummy, then in the midst of my breakfast the staff came around with some traditional breakfast sweets. Lovely! The hotel cooperates with a motor bike rental place so we had a nice price for the quad too (25 Euro per day). I highly recommend this hotel... and I highly recommend you to rent a quad and tour around the island too!
The Wi-Fi setup was done poorly by the technician so on some locations the signals cancel each other out resulting in full reach but unable to connect... but the hotel owner is aware of it and mentioned it will be fixed by next season. A minor inconvenience.
Nice and quiet without feeling deserted (although it was a bit noisy due to the wind). Clean and spacious rooms. Good breakfast.
WiFi receptions was bad. Nowhere to hang towels, beach towels and clothes.
My boyfriend and I love this place. It was clean, beautiful, comfterbal and close to the main town and Hornos beach. We chose the suite- which include kitchen, big sofa and nice view to the pool. The stuff was helpful and very nice. It was little expensive but I think it's worth it. I hope we will back soon
The small bathroom but it wasn't that bad.
excellent breakfast and friendly personnel
The hotel is in a great location a few mins walk from Ornos beach and a short bus ride from Mykonos town! The hotel is lovely and the rooms are very clean and spacious! We loved the boutique atmosphere at the hotel and it was a lovely place to stay! The staff were very friendly and offered plenty of advice on the local area and what to see while in Mykonos. I would recommend it to anyone planning to visit Mykonos!
The only minor negative was the kitchenette in our room didn't have any cutlery, however as we ate breakfast in the hotel restaurant and ate out and about during the day/evening this didn't bother us personally. However if you wanted to be self catered this could be an issue.
the breakfast quality the personnel is really charming and helpful the rooms are clean and the beds confortable the localisation of the hotel is interestin
Great location, beautiful breakfast, great pool, divine restaurant
Bed wasn't super comfortable Hand held shower
Beautiful surroundings and lovely decor. Very helpful staff that speaks perfect English.
The walk to the beach wasn't picturesque, but not awful.
The location was excellent - a 5-minute walk from terrific Ornos Beach with it's lovely clear sea and fantastic variety of restaurants, but in a peaceful and quiet location. The hotel itself had a calm and relaxed atmosphere, with two lovely pools and the staff were always friendly and helpful. There was a good breakfast buffet each morning too, and a menu available for meals throughout the day. It made the perfect base for our holiday, and was somewhere we would consider returning to. It offered good value for money.
There was nothing we didn't like.
Great location, clean and spacious room, and a staff who genuinely want you to enjoy your stay. Close (very close) to Ornos beach and some great restaurants, and just a short bus ride to Mykonos old town. I would definitely recommend Corfus and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again on my return to Mykonos.
We were under the impression that finding somewhere decent but cheap in Mykonos would be tough (cheap rooms are usually small hotel rooms in the town,) so we told ourselves we would spend the extra money for a 'luxury' stay for the end of our mini island hop. Corfos, although pleasant, wasn't worth the money we paid. The room was very clean and large, but didn't really translate from the pictures. The bathroom was very dated and small, with just a shower cubicle and a curtain - although a dated bathroom is quite usual in Greece, we thought there would be more for the price. Pool area was actually really lovely and very clean, but oddly only 8 or 10 sun beds, meaning you had to reserve your spaces early in the morning (true Brit style!) it's definitely a zen, chill out pool area - although definitely not looking for a 'party hotel,' we'd hoped for at least some atmosphere! It was basically silent around the pool, with nobody even using the pool bar area. Pool bar menu was very expensive, but probably quite in keeping with Mykonos prices... But there is a great bakery and supermarket nearby, so is a far better option for lunch. Breakfast was your average continental breakfast - cereals, fruit, yoghurt, Greek cakes, cheese, ham and then bread an jam (although not able to toast... Just cold bread!) Location is decent in terms of the area of Ornos itself... Beach is a 10 minute walk away, which has all the more luxury style sun beds for about €15/20 each per day. It also has about 6-8 restaurant/tavernas along it. Most are very appealing to look at, but v expensive. There was a great one in the middle which had great seafood. There is also a number of supermarkets nearby and as I said, two delicious bakeries with tons of things. These are all within walking distance, but the actual walk to the hotel is quite unpleasant, through a pitch black road with tons of rubbish around.
Staff weren't very knowledgable of the area and had little recommendations for us Location was average... Nothing to write home about. Hotel is also located down a pitch black back road littered with rubbish. Overpriced in all aspects - including hotel menu and drinks.
The breakfast was our favorite part of staying at Corfos. The breakfast host is lovely and makes Greek pies every morning. Her marmalades are to die for. She is such an excellent cook. And, if you are lucky to get one of the nicer rooms on the top floor, you will enjoy your stay a lot.
We booked our room based on the pictures advertised on booking.com. However when we arrived we were disappointed to see a ground floor room, on the far back side with tiny-tiny windows and very dark. Not a pool view room, instead we were facing another building. This negatively affected our stay as we paid more to get a nicer room to enjoy Mykonos. Absolutely not worth the money we paid. The front desk staff was not very professional. They did nothing to make things better and while I understand they were fully booked to move us...they could have easily given us a discount on the mis-advertised room (they admitted was not the one advertised), offer a dinner, or even a drink! Definitely not stay here again.
Nice swimming pool. Helpful staff.
We had one room with no view. Only one very small window in the room. Wifi was not working in the room. Quite expensive.
Beautiful and clean hotel. Nice pool area, although in the high season the sunbeds are quickly taken. Lovely breakfast, complete with homemade jams and pastries of the hostess. Room was spacious enough, very clean and comfortable. The host family and the rest of the staff could not have been more kind and friendly - we had a wonderful experience.
Wifi was weak in the room, but was fine outside.
Great hotel for business or pleasure. A warm welcome from the friendly and very helpful staff.
The staff were excellent & were incredibly helpful.
The wifi did not work in the room.
Big room, nice swimming pool, nice food, friendly staff, great breakfast!
Pool was lovely but too many families during high season made it a bit difficult to enjoy.
The location of this property is a bit remote without a car or ATV.
location, friendliness and helpful staff
The staff was extremely helpful. I also liked the location, it was very close to two beaches. Would definitely go back there.
