Corfu Holiday Palace  

I had an excellent stay in this hotel. The views were stunning and I would highly recommend it. It is a little outside of Corfu town but is only about a twenty minute walk to it. The staff are all extremely friendly and courteous.

Nice room with lovely view. Nice surroundings with a nice beach.

Cleaning of tables at breakfast in the restaurant was much to slow and inefficient - it took 25 minutes from we sat down at the table until it was cleaned and made ready for us, and it wasn't even wiped clean with a cloth, There were a lot of "free" tables as we came down to breakfast, bot none were made ready for new seatings. Therefore a low score at the rating of "service/facilities".

It was quite a long way out of Corfu town (definately not 5 minutes) and is in need of an upgrade. I'm sure at one time it was a stunning hotel but could do with being dragged into the 21st century!!!!!! I wouldn't class it as 5 star more like 3.

Great view from Kantoni over water. Has gym and pools. Fantastic breakfast included. Very helpful and friendly staff. Large rooms. Not far from airport.

The air in room was stale when closed up. Is a bit isolated but can catch bus to Corfu town for wider choice of restaurants.

The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, ready to answer any questions. We were put in a sea view room and which had a lovely view and even the passing air traffic into and out of the airport did not detract enjoying our stay. The hotel and room was clean and tidy, the breakfast was also good with a lot of choice.

The hotel could do with a slight update, as it appears dated in some areas although this is a personal choice some may regard this retro look appealing. I predominately choose the hotel due to its proximity to the airport for an early flight, but was surprised when the taxi took us all the way back into the town centre to get there, so may have considered other options.

it was no air conditioning in the elevators and neither in the hallways,the television was poor (only 3 programs in greek language)

it is not a triple room. it is double with a baby uncomfortable bed.

Only the view from the balcony was excellent.

I had begged a maid for a shower cap(!!) in order to protect my hair during shower! The seiling of the balcony was drifting, only two bars of soap for seven days and only once shower gel and shampoo small bottles were refilled. Bath towels were old and their white colour turned into cream. Bed sheet where never changed during our stay (six nights!!). Considering the above and the quality of food and the service during breakfast the money we paid was TOO MUCH. We are really disapointed because we had stayed there before, when the hotel was named Hilton and the experience was excellent!!

Υπέροχη τοποθεσία. Πολύ ευγενικό και εξυπηρετικό προσωπικό. Χρήσιμοι χώροι για δραστηριότητες μικρών παιδιών.

Τα δωμάτια χρειάζονται ανακαίνιση (έπιπλα, στρώματα, μαξιλάρια). Οι πισίνες δεν είναι κατάλληλες για μικρά παιδιά (μεγάλο βάθος).

Отличное расположение на берегу моря. До центра Корфу каждые пол часа ходит автобус, цена 1.50 евро на человека в один конец, в пути около 10 минут.

Отель старый и явно требует ремонта. В приличном состоянии только ванная комната и балкон. Телевизор времен электроника, холодильник еле работает, старые пледы, мебель. Ресторан и завтрак обычные. Уличный бассейн - типичный бассейн в старом отеле, крытый - перехлорирован. Да и пляж оставляет желать лучшего. За эти деньги лучше снять апартаменты, ибо 5 звезд еле тянут на 3.

La situation géographique. La vue de la petite plage qui était très belle surtout sans touriste. Le petit déjeuner ainsi que l'amabilité du personnel qui s'en occupait.

Je n'ai pas aimé du tout : La chambre (lit d'appoint trop petit (à été changé, tv qui ne fonctionnait pas (à été changée) fenêtre qui ne fermait plus, couverture ainsi que la vétusté de la chambre (fauteuil rotin abîmé, mur et porte endommagés) par contre belle salle de bain. Terrasse où le soleil ne se pointait jamais. Le personnel de la réception. La jeune femme qui se trouvait là pendant notre séjour n'a fait aucun effort pour nous comprendre (nous parlons français et essayons de nous débrouiller en anglais- ex lors de notre départ, elle nous a indiqué la bagagerie d'un geste de la main vers la gauche, a nous de nous débrouiller pour trouver l'endroit. Elle semblait toujours impatiente et exaspérée. Bravo pour le personnel du petit déjeuner.Surtout la dame préposée aux crèpes et oeufs qui était aimable et nous disait chaque matin un petit mot en français. Nous sommes arrivés fin mars (rien ne fonctionnait : pas de fauteuil à la piscine, ni a la plage, café et bar à sushi fermés, bowling fermé) Aucune information touristique disponible. Amélioration début avril quand de nombreux touristes sont arrivées Dommage. Hôtel ne mérite pas ces cinq étoiles.

Idéal hors saison. Beaucoup d'installations annexes à disposition. Wifi gratuite (du moins lors de mon séjour en mars 2012). Nous avons vraiment apprécié. Personnel très gentil et serviable. Places gratuites pour se garer. Le petit déjeuner est dans la norme et au goût grec. Vraiment rien à dire. En plus nous avons eu une suite (à la place d'une chambre normal, initialement réservée), mais il faut dire que l'hôtel était plutôt vide en mars 2012. Presque vide, mais ouvert avec toutes ses installations annexes.

Je n'imagine pas me rendre dans cet hôtel en été.
