Corfu Holiday Palace  

Only the view from the balcony was excellent.

I had begged a maid for a shower cap(!!) in order to protect my hair during shower! The seiling of the balcony was drifting, only two bars of soap for seven days and only once shower gel and shampoo small bottles were refilled. Bath towels were old and their white colour turned into cream. Bed sheet where never changed during our stay (six nights!!). Considering the above and the quality of food and the service during breakfast the money we paid was TOO MUCH. We are really disapointed because we had stayed there before, when the hotel was named Hilton and the experience was excellent!!

The location is brilliant if you have a sea view room and the staff are both friendly and caring.

The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, ready to answer any questions. We were put in a sea view room and which had a lovely view and even the passing air traffic into and out of the airport did not detract enjoying our stay. The hotel and room was clean and tidy, the breakfast was also good with a lot of choice.

The hotel could do with a slight update, as it appears dated in some areas although this is a personal choice some may regard this retro look appealing. I predominately choose the hotel due to its proximity to the airport for an early flight, but was surprised when the taxi took us all the way back into the town centre to get there, so may have considered other options.

- The view was magnificent.

- The noise (the airport is near); the cleaning of the room; the hotel isn't by 5 stars.

The sea view and nature around the hotel

I do not classify it as a 5 star hotel. Internet connection was too slow to basically do anything on the web.

The location is good near the centre. The view in balcony is very nice. Swimming pool and the beach are nice with the elivator to beach.

Very old hotel with its furnitures which needs complete renovation to be 5 stars hotel since its not more than 3 stars hotel.as it has no bidet in its bathrooms also with its old anitary wares.the receptionists are very tough without good treatment to visitors specialy for selection your selected and reserved rooms to be adjacent to your children.all the Gemnasium including tread mill and sauna etc with extra charges which is very strange in 5 stars hotel which should be included in rate.even the safe box in the room is also with extra rate.the standard of breakfast is not good.

Great view from Kantoni over water. Has gym and pools. Fantastic breakfast included. Very helpful and friendly staff. Large rooms. Not far from airport.

The air in room was stale when closed up. Is a bit isolated but can catch bus to Corfu town for wider choice of restaurants.

Excellent location with direct access to a wondruous private beach!

The hotel has excellent location, not too far from the city of Corfu, in a quiet and wonderful area. There is a small sandy beach in front, not too crowded with a nice beach bar. The rooms are with old fashioned furniture, but very big, clean and comfortable.

It's far from 5 stars hotel, but it's still ok for the price. There are certain conditions that makes one hotel to belong to 5 stars.The public area with old fashioned design, not so clean, elevators are funny, it is almost impossible to find a parking place for the car. The breakfast is like pretty poor and the same very day.

Very friendly staff. Clean and quiet environment with a superb view. One other big pro is that the walls are very thick and so there is little chance that your stay is interrupted with noise of other guests.

παρόλο που κατά την κράτηση μέσω του booking.com φαινόταν σαφώς η ύπαρξη Wi-Fi στα δωμάτια, καθόλη τη διάρκεια της παραμονής μου (24/5-28/5/2011) δεν ήταν δυνατή η σύνδεση στο Internet από το δωμάτιο, παρά μόνο από τους κοινόχρηστους χώρους και κυρίως του ισογείου. παρά τις πολλαπλές εκκλήσεις μου, το πρόβλημα δεν διορθώθηκε. επίσης τα δωμάτια θέλουν ανανέωση, ενώ οι παροχές είναι βασικές και δεν ανταποκρίνονται στα 5 αστέρια του ξενοδοχείου (δεν διατίθενται σετ προσωπικής περιποίησης, παντόφλες, μπουρνούζια, σπόγγοι καθαρισμού παπουτσιών, σετ ραπτικής). ακριβό για την τιμή του (128 ευρώ/βραδιά). γενικά αντιστοιχεί σε ξενοδοχείο 4 και όχι 5 αστέρων.
