Creta Blue Boutique Hotel  

Das Creta Blue ist eine wirklich schöne, familiäre Unterkunft! Elena und George kümmern sich rührend um ihre Gäste. Und auch der Senior ist ein ganz, ganz reizender Mensch! Jeder Wunsch wird erfüllt. Man hat einen phantastischen Blich auf's Meer oder auch in die Berge und bekommt vom furchtbaren Ort Hersonissos zum Glück nichts mit. Die Betten sind wunderbar, da die Matratzen nicht so weich waren. Am Pool lässt's sich wunderbar abhängen. Das Essen hat uns immer prima geschmeckt und auch das Frühstück hatte weit mehr zu bieten als andere griechische/kretische Hotels. Ein kurzer Gang ins "Dorf" Koutouloufari mit diversen Lokalen sollte dennoch nicht versäumt werden.

The Best of both worlds - This hotel is located on the edge of a beautiful Cretian village while at the same time being just 10 minutes walk to the main town of Hersonissos. Lovely hotel, with great views, staff, food, pool and rooms. I will definitely be heading back to Creta Blue...

Very friendly staff, nice location, small and peacful place, no crowd, perfect for relaxation.

If your are big on breakfast, expect just a core, continental breakfast. No problems with that but if you like the buffett type, you will not get that. Do not get me wrong. In the continental breakfast class, it is perfect.

In Creta Blue Boutique Hotel,we liked most the swimming pool(with the perfect view in all over Hersonissos area) and the food at the restaurant of the hotel,where Mrs Helen,the mother of the owner of the hotel,was cooking perfect dishes.Also,we liked the quitness that there was in the area and the relaxation from the daily stress in the big cities.

We didn't like that the father's boss was giving orders with loud voice to the personnel of the restaurant during our breakfast,even if the staff was so polite and helpful.Also,there were missing many of the room facilities(hot tub,spa tub,telephone,radio,dvd player,cd player,kitchenette and minibar) and the room has no sea view from the bedroom,even if the room type was ''Grand Suite Sea View''.As a conclusion this room that was given to us,was a room type ''Superior Suite Garden View'',which costs the half price from the money that we have given.So,we were very unpleased about this and the management of the hotel didn't give us any reasonable explanation about this(for example that this was a fault of Booking.com company!!!!!!!!).......

Fantastic family run hotel, family and staff make you feel really welcome and relaxed, excellent rooms all decorated to a good standard, fantastic views of the coast, excellent food cooked fresh to order in pool side restaurant. Ideal hotel if you are looking for a relaxing holiday.

Depending on where your room is, it could involve alot of steps to get to your room so would not recomend for anyone who is not very mobile

Those who stay at Creta Blue are an absolute priority for George and his family/team. From pool towels to one-day hire cars, they were always there to help. The location, although on a steep hillside, makes you feel like you are exclusively away from the masses and the nearby village of Koutouloufari has definitely got some of the best restaurants. However, the food at Creta Blue was so delicious no-one would blame you for not leaving (try the mushroom risotto!).

Transfer companies are completely unable to find Creta Blue, let alone physically make it up the tiny roads leading to it. A taxi is the only way to get there (the hotel will kindly be able to arrange this for you in advance which I thoroughly advise as we didn't and we regretted it). The hotel is on a very steep hill so there could be issues if you have any walking difficulties. It was a great workout for leg muscles as we were near the top!

We enjoyed everything about this holiday from the location,the room the friendliness of the staff,the quality of the food and the helpfulness of the owners.No problem was to much trouble.

Take my advise and dont use the resort hopper transfer from the airport unless you enjoy carrying your luggage from the main road up a very steep hill.taxi fare is 40euros but its money well spent.

Excellent located small family hotel 30km east from busy Irakleon at the edge of a small village with magnificent view over northern coast and very kind and friendly team. Calm atmosphere 4km away from the crowded beach, very individual, facilities in good taste, pool and very good price- value. We intended to stay only one night after late arrival at the airport, but were sad we had to leave at the fourth day, because it was fully booked for a wedding, brilliant surrounding for a marriage.

Consiglio a tutti questo splendido hotel, sia per l'ottima posizione che per il clima familiare ed accogliente che abbiamo trovato fin da subito. I proprietari, Georgios, Vangelis ed Eleni sono stati amichevoli e disponibili. La cucina di Eleni assolutamente da provare, soprattutto se si vuole assaggiare la tipica cucina greca. La nostra camera con vista mare e vista piscina era assolutamente meravigliosa !!!
